Description

Title of the invention: Device for holding a cycle wheel

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of cycle wheels, and in particular a device for holding a cycle wheel to hold the cycle wheel during the performance of assembly, disassembly or maintenance operations of the cycle wheel.

[0002] A bicycle wheel generally comprises a hub, a rim, and spokes extending between the hub and the rim. The hub is intended to be mounted on a bicycle wheel axle. The rim is intended to receive a tire that is removably mounted on the rim.

[0003] The operations of mounting, dismounting and maintenance of a cycle wheel are generally carried out by operators by placing the wheel on the ground or on a workbench, without any special holding device.

[0004] EP0001855 proposes a device for retaining a bicycle wheel comprising a A base plate on which three rotating arms are mounted around parallel axes of rotation. Each arm carries a support element designed to bear against an inner face of the rim. The rotation of the arms allows the support elements to be brought closer together to release the bicycle wheel or moved apart to clamp and hold the wheel. The rotation of the arms is controlled by a rotating disc connected to each arm by a connecting rod. The rotation of the disc is controlled by a threaded rod that the operator can rotate around its axis using a handle.

[0005] One of the aims of the invention is to provide a device for holding a cycle wheel that is easy to use.

[0006] To this end, the invention proposes a holding device for holding a bicycle wheel comprising a hub, a rim and spokes extending between the hub and the rim, the holding device comprising a base, a plurality of clamping members, each clamping member comprising a support element configured to bear against an inner face of the rim, at least one of the clamping members being movable to selectively bring the support elements closer together to release the bicycle wheel or spread the support elements apart to hold the bicycle wheel by means of the support elements, a control member mechanically linked to each movable clamping member to control the movement of each movable clamping member by means of a displacement of the control member, and a unidirectional locking device arranged to allow movement of the control element in one direction between the separation of the support elements and the approach of the support elements, and to prevent movement of the control element in the other direction. sense.

[0007] Providing a unidirectional locking device allows for a holding device that is easy to use, in particular by providing an actuating member that is easy to operate and that can optionally be returned to a position for tightening the cycle wheel by a return device, so that the operator can manipulate the actuating member to allow the positioning of the wheel and only has to release the actuating member to ensure the tightening of the cycle wheel under the effect of the return device.

[0008] In particular embodiments, the retaining device comprises one or more of the following optional features, taken individually or in all technically possible combinations:

[0014] - the deactivation device is configured to maintain a ratchet of the device unidirectional locking away from a tooth of the unidirectional locking device;

[0015] - the holding device includes a recall device configured to recall the control unit in the direction of movement authorized by the unidirectional locking device;

[0016] - each movable clamping member rotates around an axis of rotation, the element the support of each movable clamping element being eccentric with respect to the axis of rotation of this movable clamping element, the rotation of each movable clamping element around its axis of rotation allows the support elements to be selectively brought closer together or moved apart;

[0017] - at least two clamping members are movable and / or each clamping member is mobile ;

[0018] - the retaining device includes a transmission mechanism connecting the organ control element to each movable clamping element to control the movement of each movable clamping element due to the movement of the control element;

[0022] - the control element is formed by a control lever or a slider of order.

[0023] The invention and its advantages will be better understood from the following description, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the accompanying drawings, on which:

[0031] As illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the holding device 2 is configured to hold a cycle wheel (not shown) comprising a hub, a rim and spokes extending between the hub and the rim, particularly when carrying out cycle wheel mounting, dismounting or maintenance operations performed by an operator.

[0032] In a known manner, the rim comprises an outer face, radially turned outwards and provided with a channel to receive the beads of a tire mounted on the rim, and an inner face, radially turned inwards and on which the spokes connect to the rim.

[0033] The retaining device 2 comprises a base 4 on which are mounted a plurality of clamping members 6, each clamping member 6 comprising an element support 8 designed to rest against the inner face of the rim, passing between the spokes.

[0034] At least one of the clamping members 6 is movable relative to the base 4 to selectively bring the support elements 8 closer together to release the cycle wheel or move the support elements 8 apart to hold the cycle wheel using the support elements 8 bearing against the inner face of the rim.

[0035] The displacement of the support elements 8 relative to each other allows the diameter of a circle circumscribed about the support elements 8 to be varied.

[0036] The variation of the spacing between the support elements 8 allows the cycle wheel to be mounted on the retaining device 2 and the cycle wheel to be held by means of the retaining device 2.

[0037] To do this, the support elements 8 are brought together so that the cycle wheel can be placed with the rim surrounding the support elements 8, then moved apart to apply the support elements 8 against the inner face of the rim.

[0038] The variation in the spacing between the support elements 8 allows the cycle wheel to be removed from the retaining device 2.

[0039] To do this, the support elements 8 initially in contact with the inner face of the rim are brought together to move them away from the inner face of the rim and free the rim, then the cycle wheel is removed.

[0040] The retaining device 2 allows the retention of cycle wheels whose rims have different internal diameters.

[0041] On [Fig.2] are represented in mixed lines two circles Cl, C2 schematically illustrating the inner faces of the rims of two cycle wheels whose rims have different internal diameters and which can be placed on the retaining device 2.

[0042] The retaining device 2 comprises at least two clamping members 6, and preferably at least three clamping members 6.

[0043] In particular, as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the retaining device 2 comprises exactly three clamping members 6. This allows three points of support on the rim, for isostatic clamping of the rim by the support elements 8.

[0044] In one example, only one of the clamping members 6 is movable. This is sufficient to vary the spacing between the support elements 8 of the clamping members 6.

[0045] Advantageously, at least two clamping members 6 are movable. This facilitates the positioning of the bicycle wheel, in particular to allow the support elements 8 to bear against the inner face of the rim by passing between the spokes of the bicycle wheel.

[0046] Preferably, as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, each clamping member 6 is movable. This allows the retaining device 2 to be configured so that the elements support 8 move relative to each other while remaining equidistant from a central axis C.

[0047] Each movable clamping member 6 is for example mounted to rotate about an axis of rotation R relative to the base 4, the support element 8 of the movable clamping member 6 being eccentric relative to the axis of rotation R of this clamping member 6.

[0048] The rotation of each rotary clamping member 6 thus allows the support elements 8 to be selectively brought closer together to release the cycle wheel or the support elements 8 to be moved away from the clamping members to hold the wheel using the support elements 8.

[0049] Preferably, when at least two clamping members 6 are rotating, and in particular when each clamping member 6 is rotating, the axes of rotation R of the rotating clamping members 6 are distinct and parallel.

[0050] Advantageously, each clamping member 6 is rotatable. This allows the retaining device 2 to be configured so that the support elements 8 move relative to each other while remaining equidistant from the central axis C.

[0051] In particular, to do this, the rotation axes R of the clamping members 6 are equidistant from the central axis C, the distance between the support element 8 and the rotation axis R is the same for all the clamping members 6, and the clamping members 6 are angularly locked relative to each other.

[0052] The retaining device 2 includes a movable control member 10 mechanically linked to each movable clamping member 6 to control the movement of each movable clamping member 6.

[0053] The control member 10 is preferably a manual control member, i.e. a control member that can be moved manually by an operator to control the movement of each movable clamping member 6.

[0054] As can be seen in [Fig.3], the control member 10 includes, for example, a gripping part or handle 12 intended to be grasped and moved manually by an operator.

[0055] The control member 10 is preferably configured to be operated manually by pulling and / or pushing the handle 12, particularly along a straight or curved path, for example, an arc. This allows for easy, ergonomic, and rapid manual operation, in particular easier, more ergonomic, and faster than a handle or knob to be turned.

[0056] As can be seen in [Fig. 3], the control member 10 is, for example, formed by a control lever 14 mounted to rotate about a control axis A. The handle 12 is arranged along the control lever 14, preferably at one end of the control lever 14. The trajectory of the handle 12 is an arc-shaped trajectory of circle centered on the control axis A around which the control lever 14 pivots.

[0057] As seen in Figures 3 and 4, the retaining device 2 includes a unidirectional locking device 20 configured to allow movement of the control member 10 in one direction between tightening the cycle wheel and loosening the cycle wheel and to prevent movement of the control member in the other direction.

[0058] The unidirectional locking device 20 is preferably configured to allow movement of the control member 10 in the direction of a separation of the support elements 8 and to oppose movement of the control member 10 in the direction of a rapprochement of the support elements 8.

[0059] This ensures that the clamping of a cycle wheel placed on the holding device 2 is maintained by preventing the unintentional movement of the control member 10 in the direction of bringing the support elements 8 closer together.

[0060] When the control member 10 is rotatable about a control axis A, in particular when it is a control lever 14, the unidirectional locking device 20 is configured to allow the rotation of the control member 10 about the control axis A in one direction of rotation, in particular in the direction of a separation of the support elements 8, and to oppose the rotation of the control member 10 about the control axis A in the other direction of rotation, in particular in the direction of a coming together of the support elements 8.

[0061] The unidirectional locking device 20 includes for example a ratchet 22 ( [Fig.4]) cooperating with a toothed 24.

[0062] The pawl 22 and the teeth 24 are arranged in such a way that the pawl 22 moves along the teeth 24 due to the movement of the control member 10.

[0063] The ratchet 22 is for example mounted on the control member 10, the teeth 24 being fixed on the base 4 in such a way that the ratchet 22 moves along the teeth 24 due to the movement of the control member 10.

[0064] The teeth 24 are for example formed on a plate 26 fixed on the base 4 of the retaining device 2.

[0065] As illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, when the control member 10 is mounted to rotate around a control axis A, the teeth 24 extend for example in an arc of a circle around the control axis A.

[0066] The teeth 24 have asymmetrical teeth 28 whose faces are inclined so as to allow the pawl 22 to slide on the faces to move along the teeth 24 during the movement of the control member 10 in the direction of movement permitted by the unidirectional locking device 20, and to remain locked to prevent the movement of the control member 10 in the direction of dis- placement prohibited by the unidirectional blocking device 20.

[0067] The pawl 22 is movable so as to be able to disengage from the teeth 24 when the control member 10 moves in the direction of movement permitted by the unidirectional locking device 20, while preferably being stressed by a pawl return spring 30 of the unidirectional locking device 20 arranged to return the pawl 22 into contact with the teeth 24 to oppose the movement of the control member 10 in the direction of movement prohibited by the unidirectional locking device 20.

[0068] The ratchet 22 is for example movable in translation along the control member 10, for example in a radial direction relative to a control axis A around which the control member 10 is pivotally mounted.

[0069] The ratchet return spring 30 is, for example, a compression spring.

[0070] The ratchet return spring 30 is, for example, housed in a recess 32 in the control unit 10.

[0071] The holding device 2 preferably includes a deactivation device 34 configured to be able to deactivate the unidirectional blocking device 20.

[0072] Deactivating the unidirectional locking device 20 allows the actuating member 10 to move in the direction of movement prohibited by the unidirectional locking device 20, which is preferably the direction of approaching the support elements 8.

[0073] The deactivation device 34 is for example configured to keep the pawl 22 of the one-way locking device 20 away from the teeth 24, where appropriate against the pawl return spring 30.

[0074] The deactivation device 34 is preferably manually operable, for example by means of a deactivation button 36.

[0075] The deactivation button 36 is arranged for example to move the pawl 22 away from the teeth 24, where appropriate against the pawl return spring 30.

[0076] The deactivation button 36 is for example mounted to slide on the control member 10 to move the pawl 22 away from the teeth 24, where appropriate against the elastic return member 30.

[0077] The deactivation button 36 is preferably arranged so that it can be operated by the operator with the hand with which the operator grasps the control member 10 to move it.

[0078] The deactivation button 36 is for example located on the control member 10, near the handle 12.

[0079] As illustrated in [Fig. 4], the deactivation button 36 is slidably mounted along the control member 10 so as to push the pawl 22 away from the teeth 24 against the pawl return spring 30. The deactivation button 36 is connected to the ratchet 22 via a connecting bar 38 which slides into a mounting slot 40 in the control member 10.

[0080] The deactivation button 36 can be operated by the user, for example, using their thumb when grasping the handle 12 with their right hand. Arrow D illustrates the direction of movement of the deactivation button 36 to deactivate the one-way locking device 20.

[0081] The retaining device 2 advantageously includes a return device 42 configured to return the control member 10 in the direction of movement permitted by the unidirectional locking device 20, which is preferably the direction of the separation of the support elements 8.

[0082] This facilitates the positioning of a cycle wheel on the holding device 2. Indeed, in the absence of action by the operator on the control member 10, the control member 10 is automatically recalled by the return device 42 in the direction of the spacing of the support elements 8 to automatically tighten a cycle wheel, and held in position by the unidirectional locking device 20 to prevent loosening of the cycle wheel.

[0083] For positioning the wheel on the holding device 2, the operator can grasp the cycle wheel with one hand, grasp the control member 10 with the other hand, deactivate the one-way locking device 20 using the deactivation device 34 with said other hand, move the control member 10 in the direction of a rapprochement of the support elements 8, position the cycle wheel with the rim surrounding the support elements 8, then simply release the control member 10 so that the control member 10 moves automatically in the direction of a separation of the support elements 8 until the support elements 8 are in contact with the rim of the cycle wheel and the control member 10 is held in this position by the one-way locking device 20.

[0084] The return device 42 includes for example an elastic return member 44 arranged between the base 4 and the control member 10 ([Fig.4]).

[0085] The elastic return member 44 is for example a tension spring, having for example one end attached to the base 4 and one end attached to the control member 10, such that a displacement of the control member 10 in the direction of a rapprochement of the support elements 8 stretches the elastic return member 44 which pulls on the control member 10 in the direction of a separation of the support elements 8.

[0086] Alternatively, the elastic return member 44 is, for example, a compression spring, a torsion spring or a spiral spring.

[0087] The retaining device 2 includes a transmission mechanism 50 connecting the control member 10 to each movable clamping member 6 to drive each clamping element 6 is mobile due to the movement of the control element 10.

[0088] When several clamping members 6 are mobile, the transmission mechanism 50 is configured to synchronize the movement of the mobile clamping members 6.

[0089] The transmission mechanism 50 includes, for example, a flexible transmission element 52 in contact with each movable clamping member 6, such that the movement of one of the movable clamping members 6 causes that of the other movable clamping members 6.

[0090] The transmission element 52 is for example engaged with each movable clamping member 6 by means of a rotating transmission member 54 carried by the clamping member 6.

[0091] The transmission element 52 is for example a chain or a belt, each rotating transmission element 54 being for example a toothed wheel, a toothed wheel or a roller.

[0092] The control member 10 is for example engaged with the flexible transmission element 52 via a drive member 58 to control the movement of the movable clamping members 6 via the flexible transmission element 52.

[0093] The control member 10 is, for example, provided with a rotary drive member 58 in contact with the flexible transmission element 52. The rotary drive member 58 is, for example, a gear, a toothed wheel or a roller.

[0094] In one variant, the transmission mechanism 50 is formed of a set of gears arranged between the control member 10 and each movable clamping member 6 and, optionally, between movable clamping members 6, to ensure the transmission of motion between the control member 10 and each movable clamping member 6, and optionally synchronization between movable clamping members 6.

[0095] In one variant, the transmission mechanism 50 is formed of a linkage comprising for example connecting rods and / or levers, arranged between the control member 10 and each movable clamping member 6 and, possibly, between movable clamping members 6, to ensure the transmission of movement between the control member 10 and each movable clamping member 6, and possibly synchronization between movable clamping members 6.

[0096] Optionally, the retaining device 2 includes a hub support 60 mounted on the base 4 and configured to support the hub of the cycle wheel. The hub support 60 includes, for example, a rod 62 designed to engage in a central hole in the hub of the cycle wheel when the wheel is held by the clamping elements 6, and a stop surface 64 against which the hub engaged on the rod 62 rests axially stopped along the axis of rod 62.

[0097] Preferably, the rod 62 is arranged to extend perpendicularly to the plane of the rim of a cycle wheel held by the retaining device 2.

[0098] The position of the stop surface 64 along the axis of the rod 62 is advantageously adjustable relative to the clamping member 6. For this purpose, for example, the position of the hub support 60 as a whole along the axis of the rod 62 is adjustable or the position of the stop surface 64 along the rod 62 is adjustable.

[0099] The hub support 60 is advantageously mounted removably on the base 4. This allows the hub support 60 to be removed if it is not necessary to have a hub support for the operation to be carried out on the wheel.

[0100] The hub support 60 may be required for example for the mounting of a new cycle wheel or the replacement of the cycle wheel hub, in which case there is a phase of the operation in which the hub is not connected to the rim by the spokes.

[0101] As illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, each movable clamping member 6 is, for example, rotatable about an axis of rotation R, the support element 8 being eccentric with respect to the axis of rotation R. The support element 8 thus describes a circular trajectory around the axis of rotation of the clamping member 6. The rotation of each rotating clamping member 6 about its axis of rotation R makes it possible to move the support elements 8 apart or together.

[0102] Each clamping member 6 includes, for example, an arm 70 having one end mounted for rotation on the base 4 around the axis of rotation R of the clamping member 6, and another end carrying the support element 8 of the clamping member 6.

[0103] In one possible variant, each clamping member 6 comprises, for example, a wheel mounted for rotation on the base 4 around the rotation member R of the clamping member 6 passing through the center of the wheel, the support element 8 being fixed on the wheel at a distance from the center of the wheel.

[0104] As illustrated in [Fig. 5], in one example, each support element 8 extends along an axis of element B, along which it comprises at least one intermediate section 72 located axially between two end sections 74 projecting from the intermediate section 72, thus defining a receiving space for the rim of the bicycle wheel against which the support element 8 is applied. The support element 8 is configured so that the inner face of the rim applies to the intermediate section(s) 72 located between the two end sections 74. This allows the rim of the bicycle wheel to be wedged between the two end sections 74 to ensure the shape retention of the bicycle wheel.

[0105] Optionally, each support element 8 is of modular construction so as to vary the spacing between the end sections 74. The intermediate section 72 is for example, mounted removably between the end sections 74, in particular so as to allow the insertion of intermediate sections 72 of different lengths and / or the insertion of one or more intermediate sections 72 between the two end sections 74. The support element 8 comprises, for example, a fastener 76 that passes axially through the sections to retain them together. The fastener 76 is, for example, a rod, in particular a threaded rod or a bolt.

[0106] The modularly constructed support element 8 allows the spacing between the end sections 74 to be varied, for example, according to the width of the bicycle wheel rim.

[0107] The operation of the holding device 2 will now be described with reference to Figures 1 to 4.

[0108] In the absence of a cycle wheel on the retaining device 2, the control member 10 is in the position of maximum spacing of the support elements 8 due to the return exerted by the return device 42, and is held in this position by the unidirectional locking device 20.

[0109] For positioning a cycle wheel on the holding device 2, the operator grasps the cycle wheel with one hand (for example the left hand), grasps the control member 10 with the other hand (for example the right hand), deactivates the unidirectional locking device 20 using the deactivation device 34 with said other hand (the right hand) by pushing the deactivation button 36 (Arrow D), moves the control member 10 in the direction of bringing the support elements 8 closer together (Arrow F), positions the cycle wheel with the rim surrounding the support elements 8, then releases the deactivation button 36 and the control member 10 which moves automatically in the direction of moving the support elements 8 apart until the support elements 8 are in contact with the inner face of the rim of the cycle wheel under the effect of the return device 42.

[0110] The control member 10 is locked in this position by the unidirectional locking device 20. The cycle wheel is automatically held on the holding device 2.

[0111] To release the bicycle wheel, the operator grasps the bicycle wheel with one hand (for example, the left hand), grasps the control member 10 with the other hand (for example, the right hand), deactivates the one-way locking device 20 using the deactivation device 34 with said other hand (the right hand) by pushing the deactivation button 36 (Arrow D), moves the control member 10 in the direction of bringing the support elements 8 closer together (Arrow F) until the rim of the bicycle wheel is released, and then removes the bicycle wheel. The operator can then release the control member 10, which returns to the position of the support elements 8 apart under the effect of the return device 42.

[0112] If an operation requires the hub support 60 to be provided, the operator can install the hub support 60 and possibly adjust the hub support 60 before positioning the wheel on the retaining device 2.

[0113] Thanks to the invention, it is possible to have a bicycle wheel retaining device 2 that is easy to use. The operator can easily actuate the retaining device 2 to place the bicycle wheel onto it.

[0114] The retaining device 2 clamps the cycle wheel by means of support elements 8 which bear against the inner face of the rim of the cycle wheel, passing between the spokes of the cycle wheel.

[0115] This allows in particular to leave the outer face of the rim clear, for example to apply a rim tape to the bottom of the channel provided on the outer face of the rim or to mount a tire on the rim by engaging the tire beads in the rim channel.

[0116] The retaining device 2 comprising one or more movable clamping elements 6 whose support elements 8 bear against the inner face of the rim of the cycle wheel can receive cycle wheels having various diameters and various rim heights.

[0117] The control member 10 having a handle 12 that can be pulled and / or pushed to tighten or loosen allows ergonomic and quick use of the retaining device 2.

[0118] When installing a particular cycle wheel on the retaining device 2, the one-way locking device 20 automatically retains the control member 10 in the cycle wheel clamping position.

[0119] The return device 42, which returns the control element 10 in the direction of a separation of the support elements, facilitates the use of the retaining device 2 by limiting the number of operations to be performed by the operator.

[0120] The transmission mechanism 50, comprising a flexible transmission element 52, is simple and composed of readily available components. It can be manufactured at a limited cost.

[0121] The invention is not limited to the examples and variants discussed above with reference to Figures 1 to 5, other examples and other variants being conceivable.

[0122] In Figures 1 to 4, the control member 10 is a control lever. In one embodiment, the control member 10 is a control slider that can be moved translationally along a slide, for example along a straight or curved path, in particular an arc of a circle. In such a case, the one-way locking device 20 can be arranged between the control slider and the slide.

[0123] In Figures 3 and 4, the ratchet 22 of the unidirectional locking device 20 is mounted sliding on the control member 10. In a variant, as schematically illustrated in [Fig.6] which is a rear view of the unidirectional locking device 20, the ratchet 22 is rotatably mounted on the control member 10 around a ratchet axis.

[0124] Furthermore, in Figures 3 and 4, the pawl 22 of the unidirectional locking device 20 is carried by the control member 10 which is mobile, and the teeth 24 are fixed relative to the base 4.

[0125] The ratchet 22 carried by the control member 10 facilitates the ergonomic arrangement of a control button 36 of the deactivation device 34 on the control member 10.

[0126] In one possible variant, the pawl 22 is fixed relative to the base 4 and the teeth 24 are carried by the control member 10.

[0127] In Figures 1 and 5, each support element 8 comprises an intermediate section 72 located between two end sections 74 projecting relative to the intermediate section 72.

[0128] In another embodiment, as illustrated in [Fig. 7], one or each of the support elements 8 has the form of an elongated rod along a central line L fixed to an arm 70 so as to extend upwards. The support element 8 comprises a proximal end 78 fixed to the arm 70, for example by means of a screw 76, and a free distal end 80.

[0129] The distal end 80 of the support element 8 is optionally curved. This helps to limit the risk of the wheel slipping upwards.

[0130] The support element 8 is, for example, made of elastomeric material or provided with a coating 82 made of an elastomeric material. This ensures good adhesion to the rim and facilitates locking the wheel.

[0131] Optionally, a support plate 84 is arranged at the base of the support element 8 so as to extend radially outwards relative to the central axis C from the support element 8, so as to provide a support surface for the wheel rim before it is locked using the support element 8 or after the locking is released using the support element 8. This prevents the cycle wheel from falling after the locking is released.

[0132] The transmission mechanism 50 comprising a flexible transmission element 52 is advantageous independently, in particular separately from the unidirectional locking device 20.

[0133] Thus, according to another aspect, the invention proposes a retaining device for holding a bicycle wheel comprising a hub, a rim and spokes extending between the hub and the rim, the retaining device comprising a base, a plurality of clamping members, each clamping member comprising a support element configured to bear against an inner face of the rim, at least one of the clamping members being movable to selectively bring the support elements closer together to release the cycle wheel or move the support elements apart to hold the cycle wheel with the support elements, and a control member mechanically connected to each movable clamping member by means of a transmission mechanism comprising a flexible transmission element arranged to control the movement of each movable clamping member due to the movement of the control member.

[0134] The flexible transmission element is preferably engaged with at least two movable clamping members, each movable clamping member preferably being rotationally movable.

[0135] The flexible transmission element is in particular a chain or a belt engaged with each movable clamping member by means of a rotating transmission member, such as for example a toothed wheel, a toothed wheel or a roller.

[0136] The control member is advantageously engaged with the flexible transmission element via a drive member, which is for example via a gear, a toothed wheel or a roller.

[0137] The flexible transmission element is advantageously engaged with several movable clamping members, such that the movement of one of the movable clamping members causes that of the other movable clamping members.

[0138] The control element is operable manually or by means of an actuator, such as a cylinder, in particular an electric cylinder, a pneumatic cylinder or a hydraulic cylinder, or a motor, in particular an electric motor or a hydraulic motor.
