Description

Title of the invention: PLATFORM STRUCTURE FOR TRAMWAY

[0001] The present invention PLATFORM STRUCTURE FOR TRAMWAY concerns the construction of a more environmentally friendly tramway platform, by implementing a floor in prefabricated modules (7 and 8), in hybrid concrete from the recycling of used tires, by the possibility of allowing an operator-maintainer to replace a rail without breaking all the platform coverings, with a revaluation of infiltration water in the platform, and finally by creating oases of freshness on and around the tramway platform ([Fig.4]).

[0002] Nowadays, in the case of a planted tramway platform, watered or not, the construction of its floor is traditionally done with two-block concrete sleepers, placed every 75 or 60 cm depending on the route. These are laid on a concrete foundation slab, very often made track by track to allow water to infiltrate into the base of the form, and once adjusted, the sleepers are blocked by a concrete setting. In this case, the watering and rainwater are not revalued.

[0003] The design according to PLATFORM STRUCTURE FOR TRAMWAY allows for the "floor" part to save time, by replacing for each of the tracks and without constraint in relation to the type of associated coating, the traditional sleepers by prefabricated modules (7 and 8) placed on a foundation slab (25) making any width of platform. Two types of prefabricated modules are used, the Standard prefabricated module (7) ([Fig.l] ) and the Technical prefabricated module (8) ([Fig.2] ). The Standard prefabricated module (7) for the current track, and the Technical prefabricated module (8) for the installation of sanitation, the connection of drains, the crossings of ducts and various networks. The prefabricated modules constructed from hybrid concrete, namely with concrete in which a percentage of sand has been replaced by rubber chips from used tires, will bring more flexibility to the structure of the railway track and improvements in sound and vibration on and around the said platform.

[0004] The choice to use recycled tires as a material to participate in the construction of prefabricated modules was not made only on the basis of their recycling virtues, but above all to find a solution to the pollution that tires represent for our planet and in our landscapes.

[0005] To enable an operator-maintainer to save time on replacing a rail with a vegetated and mineralized coating, in a minimum of time and at a lower cost for the community, the invention allows, through a removable rail covering (2 and 3), also made of recycled high-density rubber from tires, easier access to the rail attachment system without having to break the surrounding coatings ([Fig.3]).

[0006] To respond to the revaluation of water and the overconsumption of drinking water, used for watering, the first false good idea would be to abandon watering. Indeed, the freshness brought by the water has as its main objective to nourish the plants, but also, to ensure that the temperature of the structure of the platform is lowered and to provide a fresh environment around our urban rail transport.

[0007] The objectives of PLATFORM STRUCTURE FOR TRAMWAY for the revalorization of water are ([Fig.4]): - Recover as much water as possible entering the platform, - Prevent its infiltration into the base of the form thanks to the foundation slab carried out across the entire width of the platform “create a barrier” - Connect all drains present on the platform and in excess widths to recovery and treatment basins placed under the platform. - Connected the pools to the closed circuit irrigation system. - Associate the watering system with a list of plants having the particularity to naturally release freshness.

[0008] In the event that a client is not interested in the revaluation of infiltration water (because it is too expensive for their project), the foundation slab could be limited in width to the base of each of the single tracks.

[0035] The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: • [Fig. 1] represents a perspective of the Standard prefabricated module • [Fig.2] represents a perspective of the prefabricated Technical module • [Fig.3] represents a cross-section of the track structure with the different rail coverings • [Fig.4] represents a cross-section, Track structure - vegetated covering with removable rail cladding and basin under platform • [Fig.5] represents a cross-section, Track structure - mineralized coating (paving) with removable rail covering and rail joint • [Fig.6] shows a cross-section, Track structure - mineralized coating (uncirculated concrete) with removable rail covering and rail joint • [Fig.7] represents a perspective of the technical element with sanitation assembly and passage of ducts • [Fig.8] represents a perspective of the prefabricated technical module with passage of ducts • [Fig.9] represents a perspective of an assembly of 3 prefabricated modules

[0036] (2 standards - 1 technical)

[0037] With reference to these drawings, the invention shows that a foundation slab (25) is made over the entire width of the platform, on a single or double track, on which prefabricated modules (7 and 8) are arranged. The prefabricated modules can accommodate the laying of railway track on saddles (5) ([Fig.3]). The shape of the prefabricated modules is compatible with all types of coverings that a tramway platform can accommodate ([Fig.5] and 6). To prevent transverse sliding of the modules prefabricated, anchor keys (9) are made on either side of the track once laid and adjusted ([Fig.3]).

[0038] All the drains (10) positioned on the platform and in the over-widths make it possible to collect all the water that will infiltrate, the drains will be connected to a sanitation network, which itself will be connected to recovery and treatment basins (19) installed under the platform and according to the needs linked to the longitudinal profile. After treatment, the water will be reinjected into the watering circuit. The presence of the watering will make it possible to refresh the structure of the platform, to nourish the planted plants and to create oases of freshness with the association of plants with naturally refreshing power ([Fig.4]).

[0039] For communities and operator-maintainers, maintenance and particularly the replacement of rails at intersections is not an operation without serious consequences. Indeed, during these works commercial operations are significantly disrupted, which forces the operator, when possible, to put in place replacement buses for several weeks. The budget and commercial loss are then greatly impacted, which is why the invention provides for facilitating accessibility to the attachment system with the installation of removable high-density rubber rail coverings (2 and 3) ([Fig.3]).

[0040] The invention is particularly intended to ensure that tram platforms are even more environmentally friendly, by taking into account a construction method, a choice of material from recycling, a revaluation of water, faster maintenance for the replacement of a rail and at lower cost.
