Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Packaging tube and its central mechanism Technical field
[0001] The application relates to the technical field of packaging of cosmetic products, and more particularly to a packaging tube and its central mechanism. PRIOR ART
[0002] A packaging tube for a stick-shaped material (such as a lipstick tube, etc.) generally consists of an upper cover, a base, and a central mechanism. The upper cover and the base form a cavity surrounding the central mechanism. The central mechanism includes a cup-shaped member configured to accommodate the stick-shaped material, and a driving member configured to drive the cup-shaped member to move in an axial direction by means of rotation. In the prior art, when the cup-shaped member is made to move in the axial direction by means of rotation, a jamming situation easily occurs, which affects the user experience. Summary of the Invention
[0003] In view of the above-mentioned technical problem, the present application provides a packing tube and its core mechanism, which can reduce the jamming situation when the cup-shaped member is caused to move in the axial direction by means of rotation.
[0004] According to a first aspect of the application, the application relates to a central mechanism, the central mechanism comprising a cup-shaped member, a drive member and a sleeve. The cup-shaped member is configured to receive a stick-shaped material. The sleeve is arranged around the drive member and is rotatable relative to the drive member, and the cup-shaped member is movable in an axial direction when the sleeve rotates relative to the drive member. At least one annular flange is formed on a radial inner surface of the sleeve, and the at least one annular flange is configured to contact a radial outer surface of the drive member facing the sleeve, such that the at least one annular flange is slidable relative to the radial outer surface of the drive member during rotation of the sleeve relative to the drive member.
[0005] Furthermore, a surface of the annular flange facing the drive member may be a smoothly transitioned domed surface, high in the center and low at both ends.
[0006] Further, lubricating oil may be applied between the radial inner surface of the sleeve and the radial outer surface of the drive member facing the sleeve.
[0007] Further, there may be a number of two annular flanges, and the two annular flanges are formed on the radial inner surface of the sleeve at an interval in the axial direction, to seal the lubricating oil between the two annular flanges.
[0008] Furthermore, the radial inner surface of the sleeve may extend obliquely outward from top to bottom, and correspondingly, the radial outer surface of the drive member facing the sleeve extends obliquely outward from top to bottom.
[0009] Furthermore, the drive member may be provided with an inner duct, and a radial inner wall of the inner duct is provided with a spiral guide groove extending in the axial direction. The core mechanism further comprises a rod extending downwardly from the bottom of the cup-shaped member into the inner duct of the drive member, at least a portion of the rod being provided with an external thread adapted to the spiral guide groove. The rod is hollow inside.
[0010] Furthermore, the rod may be formed with a conduit penetrating it in the axial direction, inside it.
[0011] Further, the central mechanism may comprise a sheath. The sheath extends around the cup-shaped member in the axial direction and is connected to the sleeve, and the cup-shaped member is movable within the sheath in the axial direction when the sleeve rotates relative to the drive member. The sheath and the sleeve form a single-piece molded member, or the sheath is connected to the sleeve by snap-fitting.
[0012] Furthermore, an annular limiting groove may be formed on the radial inner surface of the sleeve, an annular limiting projection is formed on the radial outer surface of the drive member, and the axial positioning of the sleeve and the drive member is achieved by the cooperation of the annular limiting groove and the annular limiting projection. The at least one annular flange is closer to the cup-shaped member than the annular limiting groove.
[0013] According to a second aspect of the application, the application relates to a packaging tube, the packaging tube comprising a base, a central mechanism according to the first aspect of the application, and a lid. The central mechanism is disposed in the base. The lid is configured to form, with the base, a cavity surrounding the central mechanism.
[0014] According to the packaging tube and the core mechanism of the embodiments of the application, at least one annular flange is formed on the radial inner surface of the sleeve, and the annular flange is slidable relative to the radial outer surface of the driver during rotation of the sleeve relative to the driver.Compared with the direct sliding friction between the radial inner surface of the sleeve and the radial outer surface of the drive member, the contact area between the annular flange and the radial outer surface of the drive member is reduced in the embodiments of the application, which is equivalent to reducing the contact area between the sleeve and the drive member, reducing the friction force between the sleeve and the drive member during rotation, and thus greatly reducing the jamming situation when the cup-shaped member is caused to move in the axial direction by means of rotation.

[0038] Embodiments of the application are described in detail below. Exemplary embodiments are illustrated in the drawings, where identical or similar reference numerals always indicate identical or similar elements or elements having identical or similar functions. The embodiments described below with reference to the drawings are given by way of example. and are intended only to explain the invention, but cannot be understood as a limitation of the application.
[0039] The contents disclosed below provide many different embodiments or examples for implementing the application. In order to simplify the content of the application, the elements and methods of specific examples are described below. Of course, these are only examples and not a limitation of the application.
[0040] With reference to [Fig.l] to [Fig.3], a central mechanism of an embodiment of the application may comprise a cup-shaped member 21 and a drive assembly. The cup-shaped member 21 is configured to receive a stick-shaped material. The drive assembly is configured to drive the cup-shaped member 21 to move in an axial direction, to enable the cup-shaped member 21 to move from a retracted position (see [Fig.2]) to an extended position (see [Fig.3]) where the stick-shaped material can be used. The drive assembly comprises a sleeve 30 and a drive member 40. The sleeve 30 is arranged around the drive member 40 and is configured to be rotatable relative to the drive member 40. The cup-shaped member 21 is movable in the axial direction when the sleeve 30 rotates relative to the drive member 40.
[0041] When rotating the sleeve 30 relative to the drive member 40, due to limitations in production methods, it is difficult to ensure the circularity of at least one of the sleeve 30, the drive member 40, a threaded guide groove 401 inside the drive member 40 mentioned later, an external thread 221 of a rod 22, or the like, so that a jamming situation may occur when the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40 are rotated relative to each other. In order to reduce the jamming situation when the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40 are rotated relative to each other, a mechanical clearance between the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40 is increased in the prior art. However, the increase in the mechanical clearance may cause the cup-shaped member to wobble in the radial direction.
[0042] In view of this technical problem, with reference to [Fig.4] to [Fig.9], in the embodiments of the application, at least one annular flange is specifically formed on a radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30, and each annular flange can contact a radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30, so that said at least one annular flange is slidable relative to the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 during rotation of the sleeve 30 relative to the drive member 40.
[0043] According to the embodiments of the application, at least one annular flange is formed on the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30, and the annular flange is slidable relative to the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 during rotation of the sleeve 30 relative to the drive member 40.Compared with the direct sliding friction between the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 and the radial outer surface of the drive member 40, a contact area between the annular flange and the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 is small in the embodiments of the application, which is equivalent to reducing a contact area between the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40, reducing a friction force between the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40 during rotation, thereby greatly reducing the jamming situation when the cup-shaped member 21 is made to move in the axial direction through rotation.
[0044] Furthermore, the moisture content of the stick-shaped material, such as a lipstick product, contained in the cup-shaped member 21 becomes higher and higher. The moisture content of the stick-shaped material decreases more and more after a certain period of use, which greatly degrades the experience of using the product. The inventor of the application found that in addition to the evaporation of moisture caused by the exposure of the stick-shaped material to air when the user uses it, the moisture content of the stick-shaped material can also penetrate into the sleeve 30 through the driving member 40 and then diffuse outward from an opening of the lower end of the sleeve 30.According to the embodiments of the application, at least one annular flange is formed on the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30, which can ensure airtightness between the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40, and prevent moisture of the stick-shaped material from diffusing outward through the opening of the lower end of the sleeve 30.
[0045] In some embodiments, the surface of the annular flange facing the driver 40 is a smoothly transitioned, domed surface that is high in the center and low at both ends. In these embodiments, the contact area between the annular flange and the radial outer surface of the driver 40 may be further reduced by defining the surface of the annular flange facing the driver 40 as a smoothly transitioned, curved surface that is high in the center and low at both ends, thereby reducing the frictional force between the sleeve 30 and the driver 40.
[0046] In some embodiments, lubricating oil is applied between the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 and the radial outer surface of the driver 40 facing the sleeve 30. As the lubricating oil lubrication is applied between the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 and the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30, it is advantageous to make the relative rotation between the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40 smoother during rotation of the sleeve 30 relative to the drive member 40. Furthermore, according to the embodiments of the application, at least one annular flange is formed on the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30, so that the lubricating oil can be sealed using the annular flange, to reduce the loss of lubricating oil.
[0047] In some embodiments, there are two annular flanges, and the two annular flanges are formed on the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 at an interval in the axial direction, to seal the lubricating oil between the two annular flanges. The two annular flanges are respectively a first annular flange 3111 and a second annular flange 3112. When the lubricating oil is applied between the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 and the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30, the first annular flange 3111 and the second annular flange 3112 can seal the lubricating oil within a space therebetween. In such embodiments, the first annular flange 3111, the second annular flange 3112, and the lubricating oil therebetween may slide together relative to the drive member 40, thereby improving the feel when the sleeve 30 rotates relative to the drive member 40.
[0048] In the embodiments of the application, the height of each annular flange in the radial direction is the same. The radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 is relatively parallel to the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30, so that the thickness of the lubricating oil is uniformly distributed in the axial direction.
[0049] The outer diameter of the drive member 40 is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the annular flange (for example, the outer diameter of the drive member 40 is larger than the inner diameter of the annular flange by a few tenths of a millimeter). After the drive member 40 is inserted into a radial inner side of the sleeve 30, the annular flange can "expand" the sleeve 30 in the radial direction, so that the sleeve 30 generates a slight deformation. Similarly, the gap between the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 and the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30 corresponds to the height of each annular flange in the radial direction.
[0050] In order for the lubricating oil and the annular flange to play a role in improving the feel, the height of the annular flange in the direction radial should not be too high and can generally be a few hundredths of a millimeter. It is easy to understand that the height of the annular flange in the radial direction can be related to the viscosity of the lubricating oil. In the case of a high-viscosity lubricating oil, the height of the annular flange in the radial direction can be slightly higher; and in the case of a low-viscosity lubricating oil, the height of the annular flange in the radial direction can be slightly lower.
[0051] In some embodiments, with reference to [Fig. 4] and [Fig. 7], the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 extends obliquely outward from top to bottom, and correspondingly, the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30 extends obliquely outward from top to bottom. In other words, the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 extends from top to bottom in a direction gradually moving away from its axis, and correspondingly, the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30 extends from top to bottom in a direction gradually moving away from its axis. It is easy to understand that when the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 is provided with an annular collar, the difficulty of inserting the drive member 40 into the radial inner face of the sleeve 30 increases when the drive member 40 is assembled with the sleeve 30.According to the embodiments of the application, the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 is configured to extend obliquely outward from top to bottom, and correspondingly, the radial outer surface of the driver 40 facing the sleeve 30 is configured to extend obliquely outward from top to bottom, which is beneficial for inserting the driver 40 into the radial inner face of the sleeve 30.
[0052] In some embodiments, the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 and the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30 may be conical surfaces. On the one hand, it is advantageous to ensure that the gap between the radial inner surface 311 of the sleeve 30 and the radial outer surface of the drive member 40 facing the sleeve 30 in the axial direction is the same. On the one hand, it facilitates the insertion of the drive member 40 into the radial inner face of the sleeve 30. For example, an angle between the generatrix of the conical surface and the height of the conical surface may be 1° to 2°.
[0053] In some embodiments, with reference to [Fig. 3], the drive member 40 is provided with an inner duct 400, and a radial inner wall of the inner duct 400 is provided with a spiral guide groove 401 extending in the axial direction.
[0054] With reference to [Fig. 10] and [Fig. 11], the central mechanism may further comprise a rod 22 extending downwardly from the bottom of the cup-shaped member 21 into the internal conduit 400 of the drive member 40, at least a portion of the rod 22 is provided with an external thread 221 adapted to the spiral guide groove 401. When the sleeve 30 rotates relative to the drive member 40, the rod 22 may cause the cup-shaped member 21 to move in the axial direction, due to the threaded cooperation of the external thread 221 and the spiral guide groove 401.
[0055] Referring to [Fig. 12], the drive member 40 comprises a drive body 41, and the sleeve 30 is arranged around an upper portion of the drive body 41, i.e., the upper portion of the drive body 41 extends inside the sleeve 30. Multiple grooves 43 are provided in the lower portion of the drive body 41, in order to increase the friction force between the same and a base 50 mentioned below.
[0056] In some embodiments, multiple turns of external threads 221 are provided on the rod 22 to reduce wobble of the cup-shaped member 21. The cup-shaped member 21 may be integrally formed with the rod 22, and they may be formed together as a single piece.
[0057] In some embodiments, the rod 22 is hollow inside. It is easy to understand that after the driver 40 is inserted into the radial inner side of the sleeve 30, the annular flange can not only "expand" the sleeve 30 in the radial direction, but also deform the driver 40 inwardly in the radial direction. Since the inner conduit 400 of the driver 40 whose thread must also cooperate with the thread of the rod 22, due to the rod 22 being internally hollow, it is also easy for the rod 22 to deform, to allow the thread to cooperate better with the spiral guide groove 401 of the driver 40 and to prevent the rod 22 from being tightened after the driver 40 has deformed inwardly in the radial direction.
[0058] With reference to [Fig. 2], the rod 22 is formed with a conduit 223 passing through it in the axial direction, inside it; that is, one end of the conduit 223 can extend to communicate with the inside of the cup-shaped member 21, and another end of the conduit 223 can communicate with the internal conduit 400 of the drive member 40. Since the conduit 223 passes through it in the axial direction, it is more advantageous for the rod 22 to generate a corresponding deformation, to adapt to the deformation of the internal conduit 400 of the drive member 40.
[0059] Referring to [Fig. 11], in some embodiments, a circumferential surface of the rod 22 comprises at least one flat 222. Referring to [Fig. 7], the sleeve 30 comprises a body 31 and a cover plate 33 formed at the top of the body. The cover plate 33 is provided with an orifice for the rod 22 to pass through, and the orifice has at least one flat, so that the sleeve 30 can drive the rod 22 to rotate relative to the drive member 40 through the cooperation of the flat 222 of the rod 22 and the flat of the orifice. In other words, when the sleeve 30 rotates relative to the drive member 40, the rod 22 can follow the sleeve 30 to rotate together due to the cooperation between the flat 222 of the rod 22 and the flat of the orifice, thereby driving the external thread 221 of the rod 22 to rotate in the spiral guide groove 401 of the drive member 40, and causing the cup-shaped member 21 to move up and down in the axial direction.
[0060] Referring to [Fig. 12], an annular limiting groove 32 is formed on the inner radial surface 311 of the sleeve 30, an annular limiting projection 42 is formed on the outer radial surface of the drive member 40, and the axial positioning of the sleeve 30 and the drive member 40 is achieved by the cooperation of the annular limiting groove 32 and the annular limiting projection 42, in order to prevent the sleeve 30 from separating from the drive member 40.
[0061] Each annular flange is closer to the cup-shaped member 21 than to the annular limiting groove 32. In other words, the radial inner surface 311 of the body 31 is recessed inward to form the annular limiting groove 32, the annular limiting groove 32 may be formed at the bottom of the radial inner surface 311, and each annular flange is formed between the annular limiting groove 32 and the cover plate 33.
[0062] The central mechanism further comprises a sheath 10 extending around the cup-shaped member 21 in the axial direction and connected to the sleeve 30, and the cup-shaped member 21 is movable inside the sheath 10 in the axial direction when the sleeve 30 rotates relative to the drive member 40. More specifically, when the rod 22 follows the sleeve 30 to rotate together in a first direction, the cup-shaped member 21 moves inside the sheath 10 in the axial direction, from a retracted position where the stick-shaped material is located inside the sheath 10 to an extended position where the stick-shaped material can be used; and when the rod 22 follows the sleeve 30 to rotate together in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the cup-shaped member 21 moves inside the sheath 10 in the axial direction, from the deployed position to the retracted position.
[0063] It is easy to understand that the height of the stick-shaped material being generally greater than that of the cup-shaped member 21, when the cup-shaped member 21 is wobbly in the radial direction, the shaped material of stick may come into contact with the sheath 10, thereby damaging the stick-shaped material. In some embodiments of the application, a lower end of the driver 40 may be closed, so that when the driver 40 is prepared using an injection molding process, an injection point may be arranged at the lower end of the driver 40, so that the obtained driver 40 has a more uniform outer diameter, which reduces the wobbling of the cup-shaped member 21 in the radial direction, and thus prevents the stick-shaped material from coming into contact with the sheath 10.
[0064] In some embodiments, the sheath 10 and the sleeve 30 form a single molded member. The sheath 10 and the sleeve 30 may be injection molded from plastic.
[0065] In some embodiments, the sheath 10 and the sleeve 30 are separate members, and the sheath 10 is connected to the sleeve 30 by interlocking. The sheath 10 may be mounted on the sleeve 30 and rotate with the sleeve 30. Due to production requirements and to facilitate demolding, the axial inner diameter of the plastic sheath 10 is not uniform and must be small at one end and large at another. The non-uniform axial inner diameter of the sheath 10 results in a non-uniform gap between the sheath 10 and the cup-shaped member 21. Therefore, in some embodiments of the application, the sheath 10 is specifically made of metal. The preparation processes of the metal sheath 10 can make the axial inner diameter of the sheath 10 uniform, thereby making the gap between the sheath 10 and the cup-shaped member 21 uniform, which can further reduce the gap between the sheath 10 and the cup-shaped member 21, and further reduce the shaking of the cup-shaped member 21 in the radial direction. Therefore, in some embodiments, the inner diameter of the sheath 10 is uniform in the axial direction. In some embodiments, the metal material may be aluminum, an aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc.
[0066] In some embodiments, the driver 40 has a top-down penetrated structure. When the rod 22 rotates in the spiral guide groove 401 of the driver 40 via its external thread 221, a lower end of the rod 22 may extend downwardly out of the driver 40. In such embodiments, during the injection molding process of the driver 40, the position of the injection point may be selected to be only on a radial side wall of the driver 40, resulting in a non-uniform radius of the driver 40 in a circumferential direction (i.e., a cross-section of the driver 40 is not circular). When the driver 40 to non-circular cross-section is assembled with other elements, a non-uniform size matching problem can easily occur, resulting in significant mechanical clearances in some places and minimal mechanical clearances in other places, and ultimately causing significant wobble of the cup-shaped member 21 in the radial direction.
[0067] In some embodiments, the drive member 40 may be configured such that its lower end is closed. It is readily understood that the lower end of the drive member 40 is closed, meaning that only the surface of the upper end of the drive member 40 is provided with an opening, and that the surface of the lower end of the drive member 40 is not provided with an opening, i.e., the drive member 40 is not traversed in the axial direction. A lower end of the rod 22 cannot extend downward outside the drive member 40, but can only move up and down in the axial direction inside the drive member 40.When the drive member 40 is manufactured using the injection molding method, the injection point can be provided at the lower end of the drive member 40, so that the radius of the drive member 40 in the circumferential direction is more uniform (i.e., the drive member 40 has better circularity), which is beneficial to making the mechanical clearance between the drive member 40 and the sleeve 30 more uniform, thereby reducing the wobble of the cup-shaped member 21, and which is also beneficial to improving the feel when the drive member 40 rotates relative to the sleeve 30.
[0068] In some embodiments, the drive member 40 may be molded using a core mold, so as not to form a parting line on the radial outer surface, thereby ensuring the circularity of the drive member 40.
[0069] In the base of the central mechanism of one of the above embodiments, an embodiment of the application also provides a packaging tube. With reference to [Fig. 13], the packaging tube of the embodiment of the application may comprise a base 50, a central mechanism and an upper cover 60. The central mechanism may be the central mechanism of one of the embodiments of the application. The central mechanism may be disposed in the base 50. The upper cover 60 is configured to form, with the base 50, a cavity surrounding the central mechanism. The base 50 may form a receiving cavity with an opening, and the opening of the receiving cavity faces the upper cover 60. The driver 40 is inserted into the receiving cavity, to mount the central mechanism in the base 50. The sleeve 10 extends upwardly to protrude out of the base 50.When the packaging tube is used, the sheath 10 can be rotated by . relative to the base 50, to slide the stick-shaped material out of the sheath 10 or to slide the stick-shaped material into the sheath 10.
[0070] With regard to the embodiments of the application, it should also be noted that the embodiments of the application and the features of the embodiments can be combined with each other without conflict, in order to obtain new embodiments.
[0071] The above descriptions are only preferred embodiments of the application and are not intended to limit the application. The application is subject to various modifications and variations for those skilled in the art. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement or other similar measure made in accordance with the spirit and principle of the application should be included within the scope of protection of the application.
