Title of the invention: Method for obtaining a window in a solid wood panel. Field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates generally to the construction of wooden residential buildings using the construction technique of solid wood panel façades or partitions (1). It relates more particularly to the manufacture of windows or doors and the machining process used to obtain them. Previous art

[0016] When cutting the window hole (13) in the solid wood panel (1) or cross-laminated wood panels or wood-based panel constituting the facade of the building, according to the invention, the advantageous feature of the method consists of cutting the window hole following a bevel cut (13) [Fig.3] and (14) [Fig.3] and [Fig.4]

[0017] Said bevel cut (13) and (14) [Fig. 4] according to the invention, shall have a cutting angle different from the usual 90° or right angle or straight cut (4) [Fig. 1]. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cutting angle range according to the invention shall be from 91° to 179° or obtuse angle [Fig. 4].

2. Method according to claim 1 characterized in that the panel is a building or house facade panel or interior partition panel.

3. A method according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that the cutting surface at an obtuse angle between 91° and 179° (14) constitutes a bevel surface (16) to the window or door opening.

4. Window or door sash and its frame obtained by the process according to any one of the preceding claims.
