Description

Title of the invention: GROUND MANEUVERING DEVICE FOR LANDING GEAR SKID DEVICES technical field

[0001] The invention relates to the field of ground maneuvering devices for landing gear skid-type aircraft, such as helicopters. Previous technique

[0002] Helicopters are known which generally include two parallel landing gear skids for stabilizing the helicopter on the ground.

[0003] In this context, these helicopters require maneuvering devices to move them on the ground.

[0004] In this regard, we know of document EP351743 IB 1 which describes a ground maneuvering device for helicopter which allows a landing gear skid to be lifted using a hydraulic unit.

[0005] In practice, the ground maneuvering device of document EP3517431B1 comprises a housing with a fixing mechanism, a hydraulic unit with an extendable piston and a pivoting lever for transferring torque, and two horizontal wheels at each end of the housing.

[0006] In particular, the hydraulic unit is mounted in the housing so as to be able to lift the latter vertically when the piston is deployed.

[0007] However, when equipment such as a side platform or step is present above a landing gear skid, it may pose a problem when installing the ground maneuvering device of document EP3517431B1, because such equipment may prevent or hinder the ground maneuvering device of document EP3517431B1 from being positioned vertically, as required.

[0008] In this case, it may be necessary to dismantle the gondolas before installing the ground maneuvering device of document EP3517431B1.

[0009] However, this can take time and require additional tools, which can be costly and complex.

[0010] Furthermore, this may increase the risk of damaging the nacelles or the helicopter if this process is carried out incorrectly.

[0011] In the case of a step arranged above a landing gear skid, it is not possible to use the ground maneuvering device of document EP3517431B1.

[0012] Thus, there is a need for a solution that avoids the situation described above. above. Summary of the invention

[0042] Preliminary remarks

[0043] In order not to obscure the description and distract the reader from understanding the principles of the invention, our explanations will not go beyond what we consider necessary for a person in the technical field of material handling equipment to understand and appreciate the underlying concepts of the invention. Indeed, the embodiments illustrated in the description are, for the most part, composed of elements known to a person skilled in the art.

[0044] Objective of the invention

[0045] One of the objectives of this invention is to provide a maneuvering device for moving on the ground a landing gear skid-equipped device, such as an aircraft (e.g. a helicopter), which does not require the removal of a side pod when the device is equipped with one and which can be installed without being hindered by the presence of a step arranged above the landing gear skid.

[0046] For this purpose, the inventor proposes a ground maneuvering device which includes pivoting arms which are connected to wheels, the pivoting arms being pushed to be rotated relative to the body of the ground maneuvering device, in a downward direction until the wheels make contact with the ground and the landing gear skid is lifted from the ground.

[0047] Thanks to an arrangement, the ground maneuvering device according to the invention allows for quick and easy installation on the landing gear skids of a landing gear skid-equipped aircraft, such as a helicopter.

[0048] Furthermore, this saves time and costs associated with removing and reinstalling the nacelles, as well as reducing the risk of damaging the nacelles or the helicopter. It is also possible to position the maneuvering device on the ground, even if the landing gear skid aircraft includes a step located above the landing gear skid.

[0049] In addition, this improves the overall efficiency of the maintenance and commissioning process for landing gear skid aircraft equipped with side pods or a step arranged as shown above.

[0050] Finally, this makes the ground maneuvering device according to the invention more versatile and therefore potentially more attractive to operators who regularly use landing gear skid devices with different configurations.

[0051] General structure of the invention

[0052] As illustrated in [Fig. 1], [Fig. 2] and [Fig. 3], the invention relates to a ground maneuvering device 100 which is designed to lift a landing gear skid 10 of a landing gear skid aircraft in order to maneuver it on the ground.

[0053] In the example of Figures 1 to 3, the device is an aircraft, such as a helicopter 20.

[0054] However, depending on the needs and available resources, consideration may be given to to use the ground maneuvering device 100 on other landing gear skid-type aircraft, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0055] In particular, in the invention, it is assumed that the landing gear skid 10 is previously in contact with the ground.

[0056] Furthermore, in the invention, the landing gear skid 10 is considered to be resistant to traction.

[0057] As illustrated in [Fig.4], the ground maneuvering device 100 comprises a main body 110, at least one fixing element 120, a first rotating axis 130, a pair of pivoting arms 140, a pair of axles 150, at least one selective displacement device 160 of the pair of pivoting arms 140, at least one control lever 170 and at least one pumping pedal 180.

[0058] Thus, the ground maneuvering device 100 can include a main body 110, two or more of two fixing elements 120, a first rotating axis 130, a pair of pivoting arms 140, a pair of axles 150, two or more of two selective displacement devices 160 of the pair of pivoting arms 140, two or more of two control levers 170 and two or more of two pumping pedals 180.

[0059] The main body

[0060] As illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9] and [Fig.13], the main body 110 extends along a longitudinal direction D between a rear part 200 and a front part 300.

[0061] In addition, the width of the main body 110 extends along a transverse direction of the main body 110, the transverse direction being substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D.

[0062] Furthermore, the main body 110 is designed to be disposed on the landing gear skid 10.

[0063] In a first example, the width of the main body 110 is substantially equal to the diameter or width of the landing gear skid 10.

[0064] In a second example, the width of the main body 110 is substantially greater than the diameter or width of the landing gear skid 10.

[0065] However, depending on the needs and resources available, other values for the width of the main body 110 may be considered, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0066] The fastening element

[0067] As illustrated in [Fig.2], [Fig.3], [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9] and [Fig.10], the fastening element 120 is connected to the main body 110.

[0068] In one example, the fastening element 120 is connected to the main body 110 by at least one connecting element 30 such as a rivet, a bolt, a screw or similar.

[0069] However, depending on the needs and resources available, other connecting elements 30 may be used, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0070] In particular, the fastening element 120 is arranged under the main body 110, so that, in operation, only the fastening element 120 comes into contact with the landing gear skid 10.

[0071] In the example of figures 2 to 4 and 7 to 10, the fixing element 120 is arranged in the rear part 200 of the main body 110.

[0072] However, depending on the needs and resources available, it may be possible to consider placing the fastening element 120 elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0073] Furthermore, the fastening element 120 is designed to be attached to the landing gear skid 10 in a detachable manner.

[0074] In a first example of the fastening element 120, it is in the form of fastening hooks which are designed to be hooked to a plurality of studs 40 (illustrated in [Fig.1], [Fig.2], and [Fig.3]) or fastening bolts which are located on the landing gear skid 10.

[0075] In a second example of the fastening element 120, it is in the form of fastening hooks which are designed to fit into fastening openings (not shown) which are made in the landing gear skid 10.

[0076] However, depending on the needs and resources available, other forms of the fastening element 120 may be considered, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0077] The first rotating axis

[0078] As illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.5], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9] and [Fig.13], the first rotating axis 130 extends along a transverse direction of the main body 110.

[0079] In the example of figures 4 to 5, 7 to 9 and 13, the first rotating axis 130 is arranged in the rear part 200 of the main body 110.

[0080] However, depending on the needs and resources available, it may be possible to consider arranging the first rotating axis 130 elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0081] Furthermore, the first rotating axis 130 is designed to rotate in the transverse direction.

[0082] The pair of pivoting arms

[0083] The pair of pivoting arms 140 is illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.5], [Fig.6], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9] and [Fig.13],

[0084] Furthermore, as illustrated in [Fig.5], each pivoting arm 140 has a proximal part 141 and a distal part 142.

[0085] In the example of figures 4 to 9 and 13, the pivoting arms 140 are arranged in the rear part 200 of the main body 110 so that the distal part 142 of each pivoting arm 140 is oriented towards the rear part 200 of the main body 110 and the proximal part 141 of each pivoting arm 140 is oriented towards the front part 300 of the main body 110.

[0086] However, depending on the needs and resources available, it may be possible to consider arranging the pivoting arms 140 elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0087] Furthermore, the pivoting arms 140 are connected to each other in parallel, in a fixed rotational manner, by their proximal part 141, to the first rotating axis 130.

[0088] In other words, the pivoting arms 140 are fixed so as to rotate with the first rotating axis 130, without being able to move independently so that when the first rotating axis 130 rotates, the pivoting arms 140 also move in rotation.

[0089] In a particular way of implementing the invention, the first rotating axis 130 is connected to a lower part of the proximal part 141 of the pair of pivoting arms 140.

[0090] In one embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.5], [Fig.6], [Fig.7], [Fig.9] and [Fig.13], each pivoting arm 140 is in the form of a plate which includes at least one first relief opening 143.

[0091] Thus, in this embodiment of the invention, each pivoting arm 140 can include two or more of two first relief openings 143.

[0092] The pair of axles

[0093] The pair of axles 150 is illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.5], [Fig.6] and [Fig.13].

[0094] Furthermore, as illustrated in [Fig. 5] and [Fig. 6], each axle 150 presents a proximal end 151 and a distal end 152.

[0095] In addition, each axle 150 is connected in a rigid manner, at its proximal end 151, to the distal part 142 of a respective pivoting arm 140.

[0096] Furthermore, each axle 150 is also connected, at its distal end 152, to a respective wheel 50, so that the wheel 50 can rotate freely around the axle 150.

[0097] Thus, as illustrated in figures 4 to 6 and 13, each axle 150 extends along a transverse direction of the main body 110 between a respective pivoting arm 140 and a respective wheel 50.

[0098] The selective displacement device for the pair of pivoting arms

[0099] As illustrated in [Fig.4], the selective displacement device 160 of the pair of pivoting arms 140 relative to the main body 110 is disposed inside the main body 110.

[0100] In practice, the selective displacement device 160 is designed to act on the pair of pivoting arms 140 in order to rotate it around the first rotating axis 130 relative to the main body 110.

[0101] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the selective displacement device 160 is designed to act on an upper part of the proximal part 141 of the pair of pivoting arms 140.

[0102] In this way, the selective displacement device 160 can move the pair of pivoting arms 140 between a transport position and an operating position.

[0103] In particular, in the transport position, as illustrated in [Fig.7], the distal part 142 of the pair of pivoting arms 140 is substantially oriented in the longitudinal direction D of the main body 110.

[0104] In a particular embodiment, the distal part 142 of the pair of pivoting arms 140 is substantially oriented upwards.

[0105] Furthermore, in the operating position, as illustrated in [Fig.8] and [Fig.9], the distal part 142 of the pair of pivoting arms 140 is substantially oriented towards the ground, so that the wheels 50 come into contact with the ground and the landing gear skid 10 is lifted off the ground.

[0106] In particular, the example in [Fig.8] illustrates the pair of pivoting arms 140 in an intermediate position, between the transport position and the operating position.

[0107] Furthermore, [Fig.9] illustrates the pair of pivoting arms 140 in the operating position.

[0108] The control lever

[0109] As illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9], [Fig.11] and [Fig.13], the control lever 170 extends along the longitudinal direction D of the main body 110.

[0110] In the example of figures 4, 7 to 9, 11 and 13, the control lever 170 is arranged in the front part 300 of the main body 110.

[0111] However, depending on the needs and resources available, it may be possible to consider placing the control lever 170 elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0112] In addition, the control lever 170 is designed to actuate, by a vertical reciprocating motion (i.e., a reciprocating "up and down" motion), the selective displacement device 160.

[0113] In other words, the control lever 170 is designed to move in a vertical reciprocating motion in a vertical direction relative to the longitudinal direction D of the main body 110.

[0114] In a first embodiment of the invention, the control lever 170 is coupled to at least one return spring (not shown).

[0115] Thus, in this first embodiment of the invention, the control lever 170 can be coupled to two or more of two return springs.

[0116] In a first way of this first embodiment, when the vertical reciprocating movement reaches the bottom point, the control lever 170 is automatically returned to the top point under the effect of the return spring.

[0117] In a second way of this first embodiment, when the vertical reciprocating movement reaches the high point, the control lever 170 is automatically returned to the low point under the effect of the return spring.

[0118] In a second embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9], [Fig.11] and [Fig.12], the control lever 170 is in the form of a plate which includes at least one second relief opening 171.

[0119] Thus, in this second embodiment of the invention, the control lever 170 can include two or more of two second relief openings 171.

[0120] The pumping pedal

[0121] As illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9], [Fig.11] and [Fig.12], the pumping pedal 180 is permanently connected to the control lever 170.

[0122] In addition, the pumping pedal 180 is designed to be operated by an operator so as to initiate the vertical reciprocating movement of the control lever 170.

[0123] First embodiment of the invention: the fastening element is mounted pivotally relative to the main body

[0124] In the first embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.4] and [Fig. 10], the ground maneuvering device 100 further comprises a first axis of rotation 121 and at least one locking element 122.

[0125] Thus, in the first embodiment of the invention, the ground maneuvering device 100 can include a first axis of rotation 121 and two or more of two locking elements 196.

[0126] In practice, the first axis of rotation 121 extends in the longitudinal direction D of the main body 110.

[0127] In the example of figures 4 and 10, the first axis of rotation 121 is disposed in the rear part 200 of the main body 110.

[0128] However, depending on the needs and resources available, it may be possible to consider arranging the first axis of rotation 121 elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0129] Furthermore, the first axis of rotation 121 is connected to the fixing element 120 so that the fixing element 120 can rotate around the first axis of rotation 121 within a predetermined angular range.

[0130] In one example, the fixing element 120 can rotate about the first axis of rotation 121 in a predetermined angular range of 30° or less, preferably 25° or less, preferably 20° or less, preferably 15° or less, preferably 10° or less.

[0131] However, depending on the needs and resources available, other values of the predetermined angular range may be used, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0132] In practice, the locking element 122 is designed to lock the fixing element 120 in rotation in a disengageable manner so that the fixing element 120 can move between a hooked position and a free position.

[0133] In particular, in the hooked position, the fastening element 120 is hooked to the landing gear skid 10 and the locking element 122 locks the fastening element 120 in rotation.

[0134] Furthermore, in the free position, the locking element 122 leaves the fixing element 120 free.

[0135] Second embodiment of the invention: a rotating traction device

[0136] In the second embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9], [Fig.11] and [Fig.12], the ground maneuvering device 100 further comprises a second axis of rotation 190 and a rotary traction device 191 with manual grip.

[0137] In one example, the rotating traction device 191 includes at least one handling handle.

[0138] In practice, the second axis of rotation 190 extends along the transverse direction of the main body 110.

[0139] In the example of figures 4 and 11 to 12, the second axis of rotation 190 is disposed in the front part 300 of the main body 110.

[0140] However, depending on the needs and available resources, the second axis of rotation 190 may be located elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications. of the invention.

[0141] In practice, the rotary traction device 191 with manual grip includes at least one first traction handle 1911 and at least one longitudinal arm 1912.

[0142] In practice, the longitudinal arm 1912 has a first end and a second end.

[0143] In particular, the first 1911 pull handle is connected to the first end of the 1912 longitudinal arm.

[0144] Furthermore, the second axis of rotation 190 is connected to the second end of the longitudinal arm 1912.

[0145] In a first particular way, the second axis of rotation 190 is designed to rotate in the transverse direction and is connected to the second end of the longitudinal arm 1912 in a rotationally fixed manner.

[0146] In other words, the longitudinal arm 1912 is fixed so as to rotate with the second axis of rotation 190, without being able to move independently so that when the second axis of rotation 190 rotates, the longitudinal arm 1912 also moves in rotation.

[0147] In a second particular way, the second axis of rotation 190 is fixed and is connected to the second end of the longitudinal arm 1912 so that the longitudinal arm 1912 can rotate around the second axis of rotation 190.

[0148] In addition, the rotary traction device 191 with manual grip is designed to be moved in rotation between at least one folded position and one deployed position.

[0149] In particular, in the folded position (illustrated in [Fig.1], [Fig.2], [Fig.3], [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8] and [Fig.9]), the rotary traction device 191 with manual grip is folded onto the main body 110.

[0150] Furthermore, in the deployed position (illustrated in [Fig. 11]), the rotary traction device 191 with manual grip moves away from the main body 110 by protruding longitudinally from the main body 110.

[0151] In particular, in the example of [Fig. 11], the rotary traction device 191 with manual grip has longitudinal projection from the front part 300 of the main body 110.

[0152] In particular, in the deployed position, the main body 110 can be inclined relative to the ground and can be pulled by the manually gripped rotary traction device 191 into an inclined rolling motion position.

[0153] In this way, the operator can roll the ground maneuvering device 100 to a desired location by pushing or pulling the manually gripped rotary traction device 191 in a desired direction.

[0154] In an example of the second embodiment, the angular difference in position of the manually gripped rotary traction device 191 between the folded position and the deployed position is 180° or less.

[0155] However, depending on the needs and resources available, other values of the angular difference may be considered, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0156] In a variant of the second embodiment, as illustrated in [Fig.12], the rotary traction device 191 with manual grip is further designed to be moved into a stabilization position, from the deployed position or from the folded position.

[0157] In particular, in the stabilization position, the main body 110 can be inclined relative to the ground and the rotating traction device 191 with manual grip comes into contact with the ground at its distal end and supports the main body 110.

[0158] In a first example of the variant of the second embodiment, the angular difference in position of the manually gripped rotary traction device 191 between the deployed position and the stabilization position is 90° or less.

[0159] In a second example of the variant of the second embodiment, the angular difference in position of the manually gripped rotary traction device 191 between the folded position and the stabilization position is 270° or less.

[0160] However, depending on the needs and resources available, other values of the angular difference may be considered, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0161] Third embodiment of the invention: the selective displacement device comprises a hydraulic cylinder

[0162] In the third embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.13], the selective displacement device 160 includes at least one hydraulic cylinder 161.

[0163] Thus, in the third embodiment of the invention, the selective displacement device 160 can include two or more of two hydraulic cylinders 161.

[0164] In practice, the hydraulic cylinder 161 comprises at least one extendable piston and at least one cylinder rod which is connected to the extendable piston.

[0165] Thus, the hydraulic cylinder 161 can comprise two or more of two extendable pistons and two or more of two cylinder rods.

[0166] In a first example, the hydraulic cylinder 161 is a single-acting cylinder.

[0167] In a second example, the hydraulic cylinder 161 is a double-acting cylinder.

[0168] In practice, the extendable piston has an end which is designed to act on the pair of pivoting arms 140 so as to move the pair of pivoting arms 140 between the transport position and the operating position, as explained above.

[0169] In a variant of the third embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.2], [Fig.3], [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9], [Fig.11], [Fig.12] and [Fig. 13], the selective displacement device 160 further comprises at least one hydraulic fluid reservoir 162 (e.g. oil), a second rotating axis 163, a motion transmission system 164 and at least one hydraulic pump 165.

[0170] Thus, in the variant of the third embodiment of the invention, the ground maneuvering device 100 may comprise two or more of two hydraulic fluid reservoirs 162, a second rotating axis 163, a motion transmission system 164 and two or more of two hydraulic pumps 165.

[0171] As illustrated in [Fig.13], the second rotating axis 163 extends along the transverse direction of the main body 110.

[0172] In the example of figures 2 to 4, 7 to 9, and 11 to 13, the second rotating axis 163 is disposed in the front part 300 of the main body 110.

[0173] However, depending on the needs and resources available, the second rotating axis 163 may be considered to be located elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0174] In addition, the second rotating axis 163 is designed to rotate in the transverse direction.

[0175] Furthermore, the second rotating axis 163 is connected to the control lever 170 in a fixed rotational manner.

[0176] In other words, the control lever 170 is fixed so as to rotate with the second rotating axis 163, without being able to move independently so that when the second rotating axis 163 rotates, the control lever 170 also moves in rotation.

[0177] In practice, the motion transmission system 164 is connected to the second rotating axis 163.

[0178] In addition, the motion transmission system 164 is designed to transform the rotation of the second rotating axis 163 into linear motion.

[0179] In a particular way of the motion transmission system 164, as illustrated in [Fig. 13], the motion transmission system 164 comprises at least one transmission lever 1641 and a plurality of connecting rods 1642.

[0180] In practice, in the particular way of the motion transmission system 164, the transmission lever 1641 is connected to the second rotating axis 163 in a rotationally fixed manner.

[0181] In other words, the transmission lever 1641 is fixed so as to rotate with the second rotating axis 163, without being able to move independently so that when the second rotating axis 163 rotates, the transmission lever 1641 also moves in rotation.

[0182] Furthermore, in the particular manner of the motion transmission system 164, at least one connecting rod 1642 of the plurality of connecting rods 1642 connects the transmission lever 1641 to the hydraulic pump 165.

[0183] In practice, the hydraulic pump 165 is connected to the motion transmission system 164 and to the hydraulic fluid reservoir 162.

[0184] Furthermore, the hydraulic pump 165 is designed to supply the selective displacement device 160 with hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic fluid reservoir 162.

[0185] On the other hand, the hydraulic pump 165 is designed to be operated by the motion transmission system 164.

[0186] In view of the above, it is understood that the pumping pedal 180 is connected to the control lever 170, which is itself connected to the second rotating axis 163, which is itself connected to the motion transmission system 164, which is itself connected to the hydraulic pump 165.

[0187] Thus, in a first example, when the pumping pedal 180 is moved to the lowest point, the hydraulic pump 165 draws hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic fluid reservoir 162, then, when the pumping pedal 180 is moved to the highest point, the hydraulic pump 165 supplies the selective displacement device 160 with all or part of the aspirated hydraulic fluid.

[0188] Also, in a second example, when the pumping pedal 180 is moved to the high point, the hydraulic pump 165 draws hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic fluid reservoir 162, then, when the pumping pedal 180 is moved to the low point, the hydraulic pump 165 supplies the selective displacement device 160 with all or part of the aspirated hydraulic fluid.

[0189] In one way of implementing the variant of the third embodiment of the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9], [Fig.11], [Fig.12] and [Fig.13], the selective displacement device 160 further includes a third rotating axis 166.

[0190] In practice, the third rotating axis 166 extends along a transverse direction of the main body 110.

[0191] In addition, the third rotating axis 166 is designed to rotate in the transverse direction within a predetermined angular range.

[0192] In one example, the third rotating axis 166 can rotate within a predetermined angular range of 20° or less, preferably 15° or less, preferably 10° or less.

[0193] However, depending on the needs and resources available, other values of the predetermined angular range may be considered, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0194] Furthermore, the third rotating axis 166 is connected to an end portion of the rod of cylinder in a fixed, rotating manner.

[0195] In other words, the end part of the cylinder rod is fixed so as to rotate with the third rotating axis 166, without being able to move independently so that when the third rotating axis 166 rotates, the end part of the cylinder rod also moves in rotation.

[0198] In particular, when an element is "designed" to perform a particular function, this means that the element is created specifically for the purpose of performing that particular function.

[0199] However, depending on the needs and resources available, consideration may be given to using an existing element, which will be modified or adapted to fulfill this particular function, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0200] The invention can be the subject of numerous variations and applications other than those described above. In particular, unless otherwise indicated, the various structural and functional features of each particular embodiment described above should not be considered as combined and / or closely and / or inextricably linked to one another, but, on the contrary, as mere juxtapositions. [0202] In a second particular way of implementing the invention, the fixing element 120 comprises the first axis of rotation 121 and the locking element 122.

[0203] In a third particular way of implementing the invention, as illustrated in [Fig.4], [Fig.7], [Fig.8], [Fig.9] and [Fig.13], the operating device further comprises a second pull handle 193.

[0204] In the example of figures 4, 7 and 9 to 13, the second pull handle 193 is arranged in the rear part 200 of the main body 110, opposite the pump pedal 180, so that the operator can grasp, at the same time, the pump pedal 180 and the second pull handle 193 to transport the ground maneuvering device 100 and / or position the ground maneuvering device 100 on the landing gear skid 10.

[0205] However, depending on the needs and resources available, the first pull handle 1911 and the second pull handle 193 may be considered to be located elsewhere between the rear part 200 and the front part 300 of the main body 110, without requiring substantial modifications to the invention.

[0207] In an example of the fourth particular way of implementing the invention, when moving from the transport position to the operating position, all or part of the distal portion 142 of the pair of pivoting arms 140 acts on the first locking device 194 to disengage it from a hole or bore that is formed in the main body 110. Then, when the pair of pivoting arms 140 is in the operating position, the distal portion 142 of the pair of pivoting arms 140 allows the first locking device 194 to engage with the hole or bore that is formed in the main body 110, so as to maintain the pair of pivoting arms 140 in the operating position.
