Wireless portable vehicle lift system incorporating one or more enhanced communication and/or control features. The lift system can incorporate enhanced touch screen-enabled functionalities, enhanced multi-processor architectures, and/or enhanced emergency stop features.

This invention relates to a hand truck with an electrically operated lifting platform. The hand truck includes a frame on both sides of which two guide rails are formed. The frame is provided with a screw shaft vertically supported on the frame to be vertically moved, one or more stabilizing bars forwardly extended from the frame, and two wheels rotatably attached to the rear portion of the frame. A lifting platform is guided by the guide rails and engaged with the screw shaft. A platform moving unit is comprised of a first drive motor for providing rotating force. The platform is situated in the lifting platform to allow the lifting platform to be moved selectively upward and downward along the screw shaft by the operation of the first drive motor. A control unit is electrically and controllably connected to the first drive motor and a power source.

The release handle is mounted adjacent the second end of the toothed rack, and the release handle is adapted to selectively disengage the toothed bar pin from one of the plurality of ratchet troughs.

A pneumatic lift device that has a lift unit and an activatable air supply connected to the lift unit with the lift unit having a substantially rectangular base with four sides and a substantially rectangular lift platform connected to the base by a hinge mechanism that includes four foldable side panels connected to the four sides of the base and lift platform with the lift unit having an expandable bladder between the base and lift platform, wherein on expanding the bladder with pressurized air from the air supply, the lift platform rises from the base.

A support stand system for supporting parts of automobiles for repair work or painting purposes featuring a main base and one or more additional components including a fender stand for supporting fenders, a bumper stand for supporting bumpers, a paint tray, a door stand for supporting doors and hoods, and a sawhorse. The components are interchangeable. Securing devices such as clamp brackets can be used with any of the components.

A converter allows a user to convert a conventional car jack from a non-specialized, general service variety into a specialty transmission jack. The car jack has a low, wheeled frame; a handle; a boom extending between a base end pivoted to the frame near the handle and an opposite end formed with a seat portion; and a hydraulic cylinder stretching between the frame and the boom which is actuated by pumping the jack handle to raise the boom. The seat portion of the boom is formed with a socket. The car jack conventionally is provided with a conventional cup having a stem which allows removable seating in the socket of the jack's boom. The converter head has a base plate defining a plane; a stem beneath the base plate for removable seating in the socket of the jack's boom; four or so arms extending between a butt end and a tip end; and cap screws threaded through the tip end of each arm. The cap screws allow adjustment in length and provide upper contact ends for propping a vehicle transmission thereon. The arms have slots in them and are bolted to the base plate by these slots such that the tip ends can be adjustably moved and locked into located in various positions substantially in the plane of the base plate. Wherein swapping back and forth between the cup and the converter head allows conversion of the jack into the specialty transmission jack.

A wheel dolly is disclosed that is suited to serve as both an automobile jack, capable of holding large loads aloft for extended periods, relying on only mechanical systems and eliminating hydraulic systems. In a further aspect, the wheel dolly of the present invention does not include extended arms, handles, or levers for pumping or rotating the lifting mechanisms. Each lifting element terminates in only a single nut exposed to the user. Preferably, each nut of each lifting system has the same plan dimensions as the other, thus providing the advantage of allowing the user to operate the dolly with a driver and only one socket.

A final assembly machine and method of using the final assembly machine for the sequential building and assembly of a passenger vehicle. The final assembly machine includes a frame, body support and lifting device for receiving, supporting and selectively and independently raising and lowering a vehicle body along a production assembly line while additional components are installed on the vehicle. Component carts may be removably attached to the assembly machines to provide the necessary components to be installed along the assembly line eliminating storage of build components next to the assembly lines. In one example, the final assembly machines may be independently powered, and guided along an assembly line through a plurality of build stations for increased efficiency and use of assembly plant resources.

A toilet dolly is a "U"-shaped frame that slide around either side of the toilet bowl. The frame comprises two arms that are adjustable to fit any size bowl or any difficult installation and are connected to a cross-arm. Padded lifting arms are provided to lock in place around the bowl. The two toilet mounting nuts removed, a series of three jack screws are raised in an alternating fashion to allow the bowl assembly to clear the floor-mounted fastening bolts. Once clear, the bowl can be rolled out of the bathroom. The bowl can be reinstalled by a similar but reverse process. The actually raising of the jack screw can be accomplished with an electrical drill, including cordless drills, and/or a ratchet.

As will be discussed in greater detail herein, a transport system is used to move wheeled structures, such as beds. A wheeled bed will be used as the depicted implementation, but other wheeled structures can also be moved by the transport system. The compact design of the transport system allows the transport system when coupled with a bed to be maneuvered through space restricted areas such as elevators.

An apparatus for supporting a trailer of a tractor semitrailer has a supporting element that is telescopically adjustable by way of a gear shifting mechanism having a gear input shaft running vertically onto a spindle. A mast and integral display mount for a material handling vehicle are shown. The mast mounts a locating apparatus such that a locating axis of the locating apparatus is coaxial with a steering axis of the steerable drive wheel of the material handling vehicle. An integral display mount may include a display unit and display screen housed in a display housing that is integral with the steering handle of the vehicle. The integral nature of the display mount allows the display unit to move with the steering handle during steering of the vehicle.

A lift for raising a motorcycle positioned on a surface of the lift includes a frame defining a wheel-way and a surface along a longitudinal path on the lift. A front end lift assembly includes a drive and is mounted to the frame for living the front portion of the motorcycle from the surface. A rear end lift assembly is mounted to the frame and includes a drive, independent of the front end drive, for lifting the rear portion of the motorcycle from the surface. The front and rear end lift assemblies are operable independently of one another so that the front portion of the motorcycle can be raised from the surface while the rear portion is on the surface, the rear portion of the motorcycle can be raised from the surface while the front portion is on the surface, and either the front or rear portion can be raised from the surface, independently of the other, and when the other portion of the motorcycle is raised from the surface.

A self-propelled transport aid for wheeled structures is advantageously provided. The transport aid generally includes a chassis, a lift assembly operatively supported thereby, and preferably a wheel capturing apparatus operatively united with the lift assembly. The wheel capturing apparatus has a first configuration for receipt of a wheel upon a wheel landing of the apparatus, and a second configuration for retention of the wheel received upon the wheel landing in the first configuration, wherein the first configuration of the wheel capturing apparatus is associated with a down position thereof.
