AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing methods for cleaning gutters are inefficient and require climbing onto roofs, making the process time-consuming and risky.

Method used

A suction rake system comprising a holding pole, scraping rake head, suction inlet mouth, and suction pipe connected to a vacuum cleaner, which allows for efficient removal of organic deposits and waste from gutters without the need to climb onto the roof.

Benefits of technology

Facilitates quick and safe cleaning of gutters by scraping and suctioning debris directly from the ground, reducing maintenance time and eliminating the need for roof access.

Abstract

Operation: The vacuum cleaner 7 is switched on in suction mode. The handle (1) is taken by a maintenance operator who places its end, equipped with the scraping rake head (2) and the suction nozzle (3), into the gutter 8. Moving from a starting point A (beginning of the gutter) to a final point B (end of the gutter), organic deposits and debris are scraped, loosened, and agitated by the scraping rake (2) and are vacuumed by the suction nozzle (3), which collects them and transmits them via the suction hose (4) to the vacuum cleaner tank 7, thus cleaning the gutter 8. Description

Title of the invention: suction rake for cleaning gutters on the roofs of buildings, houses, garages and others... The invention consists of the following elements:

[0001] A holding pole (1). A scraping rake head (2). A suction inlet mouth (3). A suction pipe (4). Clamps (5). A connection end piece (6). How the invention works:

[0002] The holding pole (1) is composed at one end of a scraping rake (2) whose function is to brush the inside of the gutters in order to loosen and agitate organic deposits, for example: leaves and various plants, and other waste contained therein.

[0003] A suction inlet mouth (3) connected to a suction pipe (4) is placed in front of the grids of the scraping rake head (2) to suck up the deposits and waste contained in the gutter 8.

[0004] The deposits and waste sucked up are transmitted via the pipe (4) to the tank of a collector vacuum cleaner 7.

[0005] For its guidance, the suction pipe (4) is fixed and held to the holding pole (1) by collars (5).

[0006] At its outlet end, a standardized connector (6) connects the suction pipe (4) to the inlet of the vacuum cleaner tank 7. Use of the invention:

[0007] The holding pole (1) is taken in hand by a maintenance operator who places its end equipped with the head of the scraping rake (2) and the suction mouth (3) in the hollow of the gutter 8. By advancing from a starting point A (start of the gutter) towards a final point B (end of the gutter) the organic deposits and the waste are scraped, detached and agitated by the scraping rake (2) and are thus sucked up by the suction inlet mouth (3) which collects them and transmits them via the suction pipe (4) to a receiving vacuum tank 7 thus allowing the cleaning of the gutters 8.

[0008] The vacuum cleaner is turned on.

[0009] By manually holding the pole (1) the maintenance operator advances along the length of the gutter 8, thus cleaning it.

[0010] Options: The vacuum cleaner 7 may be available in several versions, for example: rolling on the ground, or leaning against and carried by the maintenance operator. The aims of the invention are:

[0011] Simplify the cleaning of gutters and cleanly collect deposits and various organic waste.

[0012] Save time during general maintenance of the gutters of one or more buildings.

[0013] Maintain gutters without having to climb onto the roofs of buildings.
