Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Label for applying a marking
[0001] The present invention relates to a label for applying a marking to a pressure gauge dial for a pressurized fluid valve. The invention also relates to a device and a method for applying the marking.
[0002] It is known from the prior art that pressurized fluid cylinders or the valves fitted to these cylinders include markings. These markings typically make it possible to count the cylinders and / or manage their location. Other information useful to the user, such as the pressure level in the cylinder or its identification can also be obtained using a marking.
[0003] The marking may, for example, take the form of an inscription directly on the surface of the pressurized fluid bottle or on the body of the tap. This marking may also take the form of a glued label. These markings have the disadvantage of being static and of containing only one piece of information. Furthermore, the user is forced to position himself in front of each marking to read its content.
[0004] Solutions exist for obtaining the pressure measurement of the bottle associated with its identifier in a more automated manner. For example, documents FR3018606A1 and EP3380817A1 disclose a pressure gauge bearing a marking and a pressure indicator, such as a mobile needle, rotating relative to said dial. The pressure indicator, during its rotations, changes orientation and / or position relative to said marking. The pressure value is deduced from this positioning. Solutions of the prior art propose automating these measurements by a system for taking images of the marking.
[0005] The solutions of the prior art are not satisfactory in terms of precision. The pressure measurement depends on a set of factors, such as the shooting angle or the precision of the marking. The proposed solutions are not ergonomic and force the user to adjust his position in relation to the marking.
[0006] The present invention therefore aims to provide a marking which is easy to read and allows better precision in pressure measurement.
[0007] A solution of the invention is then a label for placing a marking on a pressure gauge dial for a fluid tap, characterized in that said label comprises at least one first zone comprising a hole intended to position said label relative to said dial and a second removable zone comprising said marking.
[0008] According to one embodiment, said label comprises at least 3 superimposed films comprising a first film comprising an adhesive, a second film comprising a pad comprising said marking, a third translucent film comprising UV protection, said removable area of the label corresponding to the surface of said pad.
[0009] The invention further relates to a device for placing a marking on a dial of a tap pressure gauge equipped with a pressure indicator, characterized in that the placing device comprises at least one openwork circular area configured to allow the placing of said marking on said dial and at least one positioning element adapted to be fixed on an inlet or outlet connection of said tap, on the body of said tap or on a protective cap of said tap, so that said openwork circular area is centered on the isobarycenter of the surface of said dial, the placing device comprising at least one protuberance intended to cooperate with the hole of a label according to the invention.
[0010] The invention also relates to a method for placing a marking on a pressure gauge dial for a fluid tap by means of a device for placing a marking according to the invention, said method comprising at least the following steps: a. Fixing a device for placing a marking according to the invention on the body of said tap, on an inlet or outlet connection of said tap or on a protective cap of said tap, b. Positioning the openwork circular area of said setting device at a distance of 0.1 to 1.5 mm from the surface of said dial, c. Positioning a label according to the invention on said application device so that the hole of said label cooperates with the protuberance of said application device and that the second removable zone of said label is positioned on said openwork circular zone, d. Applying a force to said removable area so that said removable area is detached and adhered to said dial, e. Removal of said first area from said label. f. Removal of the installation device.
[0011] The invention will now be better understood thanks to the description which follows, given as an illustrative and non-limiting example and made with reference to the attached figures among which:
[0012] [Fig.l] is a schematic representation of a label,
[0013] [Fig.2] is a partial schematic representation of a device for laying a marking,
[0014] [Fig.3] is a schematic representation of a label positioned on the device for applying a marking,
[0015] [Fig.4] is a partial schematic representation of a label positioned on the dial of a pressure gauge of a tap for a bottle of pressurized fluid,
[0016] [Fig.5] is a schematic representation of a label positioned on the device for applying a marking, the device for applying a marking being positioned on the body of a tap.
[0017] With particular reference to [Fig.l] and [Fig.4], the marking 2 of the label 1 is intended to be positioned on the dial 5 of a pressure gauge of a tap for a pressurized fluid bottle. The label 1 according to the invention makes it possible to precisely position the marking 2 on the dial 5. For this purpose, the label 1 comprises at least two zones: a first zone which comprises a hole 3, a second removable zone which comprises a marking 2. The hole 3 cooperates with a protuberance 9. The hole 3 thus allows the positioning of the label 1 relative to the dial 5. In one embodiment, said protuberance 9 is located on the body of said tap or on a protective cap of said tap or even a device 6 for placing the marking 2. When the label 1 is fixed by the hole 3 on the protuberance 9, the second removable zone is positioned as desired by the user at the level of the dial 5 of the tap.The user can thus position the marking 2 more precisely in relation to said dial 5.
[0018] According to one embodiment, the protuberance 9 is a guide pin with a diameter between 2 and 10 mm.
[0019] According to one embodiment, the removable area of the label 1 is pre-cut. The user can simply apply pressure to the second removable area of the label 1 so that the removable area detaches easily.
[0020] The pressure gauge for a pressurized fluid tap comprises said dial 5 and at least one pressure indicator which can rotate about an axis relative to said dial 5. It is the change in orientation and / or relative position of the pressure indicator relative to said marking 2 which makes it possible to encode the pressure measurement. Thus, thanks to the exact positioning of the marking 2 on the dial 5, the pressure measurement is more precise.
[0021] According to one embodiment, the marking 2 comprises a two-dimensional matrix code. This matrix code can thus contain other information such as an identifier of the bottle or the tap.
[0022] When the marking 2 is positioned relative to said dial 5, the user can then add glue to the surface of the marking 2 and / or to that of the dial 5. Then by detaching the marking 2 from the label 1 using the second removable zone, the user fixes the marking 2 to the dial 5.
[0023] According to one embodiment, the label 1 comprises at least three superimposed films. A first film comprises an adhesive, this adhesive makes it possible to stick the second removable zone on the dial 5. A second film comprises a pad comprising the marking 2. The surface of the pad has a surface area equal to or greater than that of the marking 2 desired by the user. A third translucent film includes protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This UV film prevents degradation of the marking 2 over time. Said second removable area of the label corresponds to the surface of said pad. The three films make it possible to obtain a label 1 resistant to weathering and changes in ambient temperature. The adhesive film particularly makes it possible to avoid having to add glue to fix the marking 2 on the dial 5. Thus the user positions the marking 2 using the hole 3 of the label 1 relative to the dial 5. He simply has to press on the second removable area to fix this removable area comprising the marking 2 on the dial 5.
[0024] According to one embodiment of the invention, the label 1 has a thickness greater than 45 micrometers and less than 500 micrometers.
[0025] According to one embodiment of the invention, the second film of the label 1 is made of polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene.
[0026] According to the invention, several labels 1 can be mounted in series on a strip. The strip is produced by a manufacturing method comprising at least the following steps: • A first step in creating the marking • A second stage of printing the marking on the strip in series on a first film • A third step of pre-cutting the labels and the removable area, for example using a laser machine. According to another embodiment, the method of manufacturing the labels comprises at least the following additional steps after the second step: • a first lamination of a transparent upper silicone layer added to the support, to provide mechanical protection and protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation of the pellets, • a second lamination allowing the adhesive film to be put in place. • punching the laminated film to make hole 3,
[0027] According to one embodiment, the printing is monochrome.
[0028] With particular reference to [Fig. 2], a placement device 6 makes it possible to place the marking 2 on a dial 5 of a tap pressure gauge equipped with a pressure indicator. The placement device 6 comprises at least one openwork circular zone 8 configured to allow, through this openwork circular zone 8, the placement of said marking 2 on said dial 5. The placement device 6 comprises at least one positioning element 7. This positioning element 7 is fixed to an inlet or outlet connection of the tap, to the body of said tap or to a protective cap of said tap. When the placement device 6 is fixed, the openwork circular zone 8 is positioned precisely relative to the dial 5, for example centered on the isobarycenter of the surface of the dial 5. The installation device 6 comprises at least one protrusion 9 intended to cooperate with the hole 3 of a label 1. In fact, the hole 3 comes to cooperate with the protrusion 9. The user comes to fix the label 1 on the protrusion 9 and the user can then orient the label 1 in such a way that the removable zone is positioned at the level of the openwork zone 8.
[0029] According to one embodiment, the installation device 6 is removable. The positioning element 7 makes it possible to fix the installation device on an inlet or outlet connection of the tap, on the body of said tap or on a protective cap of said tap. The positioning element 7 also makes it possible to remove the installation device 6, for example by means of a fixing clip or a spring.
[0030] In one embodiment, the openwork circular area 8 comprises a chamfer. The chamfer makes it possible to improve the ergonomics of the application device 6, when applying the marking 2 by allowing the user's finger to easily fit this openwork area 8.
[0031] According to another embodiment, the installation device 6 is made of plastic.
[0032] With particular reference to [Fig.5], the invention also relates to a method for placing a marking 2 on a dial 5 of a pressure gauge for a fluid tap by means of a placing device 6 according to the invention. The method comprises at least the following steps: a. Fixing a device 6 for installing a marking 2 on the body of said tap, on an inlet or outlet connection of said tap or on a protective cap of said tap, b. Positioning the openwork circular area 8 of said installation device 6 at a distance of 0.1 to 1.5 mm from the surface of said dial 5. This distance makes it possible to avoid shocks / scratches on the surface of the dial. c. Positioning a label 1 according to the invention on the application device 6 so that the hole 3 of said label 1 cooperates with the protuberance 9 of said application device 6 and that the second removable zone of said label 1 is positioned on said openwork circular zone 8, d. Applying a force to said removable area so that said removable area is detached and stuck to said dial 5, e. Removal of said first zone from said label 1, f. Removal of the installation device 6.
