Abstract
The invention relates to a transmission oil filter (100, 200, 300, 400) comprising a filtrate receptacle (101, 201, 301, 401) to be immersed in the transmission oil and an outlet (102, 202, 302, 402). The filtrate receptacle (101, 201, 301, 401) has an outer wall (110, 210, 310, 410) defined at least in part by a filter material such that the fluid can enter the filtrate receptacle (101, 201, 301, 401) through the outer wall. The outlet (102, 202, 302, 402) extends through the outer wall (110, 210, 310, 410) to fluidly connect a suction pump inside the filtrate receptacle (101, 201, 301, 401). 9. The transmission oil filter of claim 8, wherein each spacer (106, 306, 406) includes a base (162, 362, 462) that is coupled to the elongate support member (107, 207, 307, 407) and a width of the spacer that decreases from the base toward a free end (163, 363, 463) of the spacer.
