Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: CLEANING STATION AND USE
[0001] The invention relates to a cleaning station, in particular for metal parts, as well as its use. Background of the invention
[0002] European patent application no. EP 0 187 174 published in 1984 describes a mobile installation for cleaning portable receptacles such as waste bins.
[0003] However, there is currently no simple and easy-to-use solution for cleaning larger metal parts with recovery of the cleaning water. At present, this effluent is discharged into the sewer system, which can cause treatment problems at wastewater treatment plants or lead to environmental pollution. Summary of the invention
[0004] The main purpose of the invention is to provide a cleaning station that is able to facilitate the cleaning and / or washing of parts, particularly metallic parts, in a simple manner and without causing problems with effluent treatment or pollution.
[0005] According to the invention, this goal is achieved using a cleaning station conforming to the following statement: 1. Cleaning station including: - a perforated floor, - at least one vertical wall rising from the perforated floor, - a horizontal wall located at the top of the vertical wall, - an open side, - a collection tray located under the perforated floor, - a suction hose having an inlet connected to the collection bin and an outlet, - a discharge pipe having an inlet and an outlet, - a pump positioned between the outlet of the suction pipe and the inlet of the pipe of repression and - at least one container connected to the outlet of the discharge pipe.
[0006] Advantageous features of the cleaning station of the aforementioned statement 1 are indicated in the following statements 2 to 7: 1. Cleaning station according to statement 1, in which the collection bin The operation is inclined and the inlet of the suction pipe is connected to a lower part of the recovery tray. 2. Cleaning station according to statement 2, in which the angle of inclination of the recovery tray is approximately 0.5 degrees. 3. Cleaning station according to one of the preceding statements, further comprising at least one valve disposed between the discharge pipe outlet, the container(s) and a sewer pipe. 4. Cleaning station according to one of the preceding statements, further including a shower. 5. Cleaning station according to statement 5, including a shower water recovery tank connected to a sewer pipe. 6. Cleaning station according to one of the preceding statements, equipped with wheels.
[0007] According to another aspect, the invention also relates to the use according to the following statement 8: 1. Use of a station according to any of the preceding statements for the washing or cleaning of a part, in particular a metallic part, in which the part is placed in the station and a user stands facing the open side (6) of the station and sprays at least one liquid on it.
[0008] Advantageous features of the use of the aforementioned statement 8 are indicated in the following statements 9 and 10: 1. Use as described above, in which the spraying aims to achieve one or more of the following operations:
[0009] - degreasing
[0010] - a stripping and
[0011] - a passivation. 1. Use according to statement 9, in which the user changes container after each operation.
[0012] Other features and advantages of the invention will now be described in detail in the following exposition, which is given with reference to the accompanying figures, which schematically represent:
[0013] [Fig-1]: a front view of a cleaning station according to the invention;
[0014] [Fig.2]: a rear view of the station of the [Fig.1];
[0015] [Fig.3]: a right-side view of the station in figures 1 and 2;
[0016] [Fig.4]: a left-hand view of the station in Figures 1 to 3; and
[0017] [Fig.5]: a top view of the station of figures 1 to 4. Detailed description of the invention Cleaning station
[0018] Figure 1 shows an example of a cleaning station according to the invention.
[0019] This cleaning station includes: - a perforated floor 1 designed to allow washing / cleaning liquids to pass through, - a rear vertical wall 2 and two side vertical walls 3,4 rising from the perforated floor 1, - a horizontal wall 5 located above the vertical walls 2, 3, 4 and serving as a roof for the cleaning station, - at the front, i.e. opposite the rear vertical wall 2, an open side 6, in order to allow a user to place parts, in particular metallic parts, in the station and then spray them with at least one cleaning or washing liquid.
[0020] In order to prevent the effluents from reaching the ground and polluting it, a collection tray 7 is fixed under the perforated floor 1. The liquids falling from the parts and collected in the collection tray 7 can be sucked up through a suction pipe whose inlet is connected to the collection tray 7 and whose outlet is connected to a pump 8.
[0021] The liquids are then sent by the pump 8 into a discharge pipe on which are provided several valves whose outlets are connected to collection containers 9 to 14 arranged behind the rear vertical wall 2 and more clearly visible on the [Fig.2],
[0022] These valves allow one or more container(s) to be selected from containers 9 to 14. Each container can thus collect only the liquid from a specific washing or cleaning operation.
[0023] Preferably, in order to facilitate the evacuation of liquids, the collection tray 7 is inclined and the suction pipe is connected to its lower part.
[0024] The angle of inclination can be, for example, about 0.5 degrees.
[0025] Similarly, the roof 5 is also preferentially inclined, generally towards the rear, in order to facilitate the flow of rainwater, or even snow.
[0026] The floor 1 is preferably made of a tubular stainless steel frame.
[0027] The collection tray 7 can also be made of stainless steel, in order to resist the corrosion due to chemicals that may be used during cleaning.
[0028] The vertical walls, rear 2 and lateral 3,4, serve to protect the environment from liquid splashes, they must therefore also be resistant to chemicals and are for example made of stainless steel.
[0029] The suction and discharge pipes, valves and parts of the pump that come into contact with the chemicals must also be made of chemical-resistant materials, such as stainless steel.
[0030] Each container is normally designed to withstand at least the chemical it is intended to receive.
[0031] A filter grid is preferably provided at the inlet of the suction pipe to stop any possible solid matter.
[0032] The discharge pipe can be connected, downstream of the valves, to a sewer connection, for the discharge of effluents not requiring recovery or treatment.
[0033] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a safety shower is provided in case the station user has been splashed with potentially dangerous chemicals.
[0034] A shower head 15 is positioned at a height and connected to a water supply pipe from the public water distribution network via a tap. A shower tray may be provided to collect the shower water and return it to the sewer pipe or possibly to the containers via the aforementioned discharge pipe and a suitable small pump.
[0035] The cleaning station according to the invention is preferably designed to be located outside a building and, according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, is mobile. For this purpose, the platform 1 is mounted on a support which is preferably equipped with wheels. Thanks to this, the cleaning station acquires mobility and can be moved, for example, from a location next to a hangar to another location near another hangar, as required. Using the cleaning station
[0036] To use the cleaning station according to the invention, a user must place the parts to be cleaned on the floor 1, accessing them through the open side 6 of the station. Then, preferably after putting on protective clothing, they position themselves facing the open side 7 and spray a liquid onto the part using a suitable liquid spray lance.
[0037] It can then change the liquid in order to perform one or more other operation(s) such as:
[0038] - degreasing
[0039] - a stripping and
[0040] - a passivation.
[0041] The pump is preferably started by means of an electrical control box shortly after the start of the first spray to avoid mixing the contaminated sprayed liquids. Each time the liquid is changed, the user closes the open valve and opens the valve corresponding to the next liquid to be sprayed and recovered. However, the liquids can also be mixed, depending on the recommendations of their manufacturers.
