Description

Title of the invention: Dispenser of a fluid product and associated receptacle Technical field of the invention

[0001] The invention relates to a dispenser of a fluid product configured to be reversibly mounted on a fluid product reservoir.

[0002] The invention also relates to a receptacle comprising such a dispenser.

[0003] The fluid product is of the lotion, gel, perfume, serum or cream type for example, used for cosmetic purposes or for pharmaceutical treatments. Technical background

[0004] There are dispensing systems intended to equip receptacles and allowing sampling and dispensing of a fluid product. Conventionally, these dispensing systems comprise a piston movable in translation from a rest position to a sampling or dispensing position. This translational movement is generally obtained by means of a push button (or actuator) linked in translation to the piston, on which pressure exerted by a user causes the piston to move and a dose of fluid product to be sampled and / or dispensed.

[0005] Such systems are found, for example, in dropper-type receptacles in which the product must be sampled and dispensed precisely and in small doses. These systems then replace conventional systems comprising a flexible bulb allowing the product to be sucked up and / or dispensed into a pipette housed in a reservoir containing the product. A first pressure allows the product to be sucked up and a second pressure allows the product to be dispensed.

[0006] These systems also generally comprise a means for returning the piston and the push button which allows the piston and the push button to automatically return to the rest position once the dose of fluid product has been withdrawn and / or dispensed. In other words, the piston returns to the rest position without the user having to intervene, and drives the push button which also returns, consequently, to the rest position.

[0007] Commonly, the return means is a spring, in particular a helical spring. To ensure effective return of the piston and the push button, in particular over longevity, the spring is generally metallic.

[0008] Thus, these systems are generally made up of a multitude of parts which do not facilitate assembly and which result in a system which is not economical to to manufacture.

[0009] Furthermore, this increases the risk of malfunction of the system. For example, with wear, play may develop between the different parts or the return of the piston and / or the push button may not be completely done. The stroke is then incomplete and the fluid dose lower than the expected dose or the system may block or become difficult to use.

[0010] In addition, the parts may be made of different materials, particularly materials adapted to their functionality, complicating recycling.

[0011] There is therefore a need for a solution making it possible to resolve at least some of the drawbacks of the prior art while retaining a system which is advantageously simple and economical to manufacture. Summary of the invention

[0012] Thus, the invention relates to an actuating head configured to be mounted on a body for dispensing a fluid product comprising a pipette,

[0013] the actuating head comprising a piston and an actuator, a translation of which from an actuated extreme position to a rest position allows suction of the fluid product into the pipette and a translation from the rest position to the actuated extreme position allows dispensing of the fluid product out of the pipette and a return means allowing a return of the piston and the actuator to the rest position,

[0014] the piston, the actuator and the return means being made from a single plastic part.

[0015] The return means allows the piston and the actuator to return automatically, in other words spontaneously, i.e. the piston and the actuator return to their rest position on their own after having descended, without the user needing to intervene.

[0016] The fact that the piston, the actuator and the return means are made in a single piece also allows a flexible return movement. The piston and the actuator return to the rest position without sudden movement unlike a conventional helical spring. The return movement is more easily controllable.

[0017] Furthermore, this prevents one of the parts from becoming defective or one of them from being out of alignment causing malfunction of the distributor for which the dispensing head is intended.

[0018] Finally, since the assembly is made of plastic, recycling of the dispenser and, consequently, recycling of the receptacle for which it is intended are facilitated.

[0063] The invention will be better understood, and other characteristics and advantages thereof will appear during the reading of the detailed description which follows, of at least two examples of embodiment of the invention given as purely illustrative and non-limiting examples, with reference to the appended schematic drawings in which:

[0071] - [Fig.8] is a perspective view of a fifth variant of the return means of [Fig.4]. Detailed description of the invention

[0072] By convention, the “axial” direction corresponds in the figures to that of the main X axis of a dispenser 10 for a fluid product configured to be removably mounted on a fluid product reservoir 12, and the “radial” direction is orthogonal to the axial direction.

[0073] In the detailed description of the figures which follows, the terms “upper” and “lower” or “top” and “bottom” will be used in a non-limiting manner with reference to the axial direction.

[0074] Similarly, the terms "outer or external" and "inner or internal" are used with reference to the radial direction, an outer element being radially further from the X-axis than an inner element.

[0075] Figures 1 and 2 illustrate a first embodiment of a receptacle 13 comprising a dispenser 10 for fluid product mounted in a removable / reversible manner on a reservoir 12.

[0076] By “removable” and “reversible” is meant the fact that the reservoir 12 is equipped with the dispenser 10 with the possibility of removing it, in particular when dispensing the fluid product, without causing destruction or deformation of one of the two elements.

[0077] The fluid product is of the lotion, gel, perfume, serum or cream type for example, used for cosmetic purposes or for pharmaceutical treatments.

[0078] The distributor 10 comprises an actuating head 14 and a dispensing body 16. The removable connection between the distributor 10 and the reservoir 12 is made via the dispensing body 16.

[0079] The distribution body 16 comprises:

[0080] - a pipette 18, and

[0081] - a closing system ensuring the sealing of the tank 12 when the body of distribution 16 is mounted on the tank 12.

[0082] The pipette 18 is configured to allow storage of fluid product for dispensing and to be housed inside the reservoir 12.

[0083] The reservoir 12 is configured to contain the fluid product and receive the pipette 18.

[0084] The closure system ensures the sealing of the reservoir 12 when the pipette 18 is housed in it.

[0085] The reservoir 12 comprises a longitudinal wall 20 and an upper opening 22. The longitudinal wall 20 delimits an internal volume in which the fluid product can be stored. The upper opening 22 is delimited by a neck 24 connected to the longitudinal wall 20 by a frustoconical shoulder 26.

[0086] The closure system is composed of a closure ring 28 configured to be removably attached to the reservoir 12.

[0087] To do this, the closing ring 28 comprises closing means 30 cooperating with closing means 32 of the reservoir 12.

[0088] The closing means 30 of the closing ring 28 are located on an internal surface of a lower skirt 34.

[0089] The lower skirt 34 extends downwardly from a transverse wall 36.

[0090] The means for closing the reservoir 12 are located on an external surface of the bottleneck 24.

[0091] This is a thread system 30, 32. The closing ring 28 can thus be fixed and / or removed from the reservoir 12 by a rotational movement of one relative to the other.

[0092] The dispensing body 16 further comprises an upper skirt 38 defining an internal housing extended by the pipette 18.

[0093] The internal housing thus forms a storage chamber 40 in fluid connection with the pipette 18. More precisely, the lower part of the upper skirt 38 is connected to an upper end of the pipette 18 via the transverse wall 36. An opposite lower end of the pipette 18 is open and configured to be immersed in the reservoir 12 when the closing ring 28 is mounted on the reservoir 12.

[0094] The pipette 18 allows the storage of the dose of fluid product taken for dispensing.

[0095] In this first embodiment, the distribution body 16 further comprises an external skirt 42.

[0096] The outer skirt 42 envelops the closing ring 28 and the actuating head. It thus makes it possible to conceal these unpleasant elements, in particular elements composing the actuator head.

[0097] Advantageously, in the illustrated embodiments, the pipette 18, the closing ring 28 and the external skirt 42 forming the dispensing body 16 are made in a single piece. In other words, they form a monolithic piece. Design and assembly are thus facilitated. The risk of play between the pieces as they are used is also avoided.

[0098] Preferably, the assembly is made of plastic, facilitating the recycling of the dispenser and, consequently, the recycling of the receptacle for which it is intended.

[0099] The second embodiment differs from the first embodiment by the presence of an external envelope 43.

[0100] Advantageously, the external casing 43 is linked in rotation and in translation to the distribution body 16.

[0101] In particular, in this second embodiment, the external casing 43 is linked in rotation with the distribution body 16 by means of the external skirt 42 by a cooperation of vertical grooves located at their lower end and their upper end.

[0102] Furthermore, the external casing 43 and the external skirt 42 of the distribution body 16 are linked in translation by snap-fastening between them at their lower end and their upper end.

[0103] The external envelope 43 makes it possible, for example, to provide an additional design and to improve the aesthetics of the receptacle 13.

[0104] In the embodiments shown here, the actuating head 14 comprises an actuator 44, a piston 46 and a return means 48 allowing the piston 46 and the actuator 44 to be returned to the rest position.

[0105] According to the invention, the piston 46, the actuator 44 and the return means 48 are made from a single plastic part. In other words, the piston 46, the actuator 44 and the return means 48 constitute a monolithic part.

[0106] In other words, unlike conventional systems comprising an independent helical spring, the compression, the crushing of the return means 48 directly causes the piston 46 to descend without an intermediate part. The piston 46 is actuated by the actuator 44 and the return means 48.

[0107] Such a configuration allows good maintenance of the actuator 44, the return means 48 and the piston 46. This facilitates the return of the actuator 44 and the piston 46 to the rest position and allows a homogeneous and durable movement over the long term.

[0108] Preferably, the piston 46, the actuator 44 and the return means 48 are made of polypropylene, for example post-consumer recycled polypropylene.

[0109] Polypropylene is a plastic material whose recycling cycle is well known.

[0110] Advantageously, the actuating head 14 is mounted on the dispensing body 16 so that the actuator 44 is movable in axial translation relative to the external skirt 42 of the dispensing body 16 and the external casing 43.

[0111] In the embodiments illustrated here, the dispensing body 16 comprises an upper housing 50 in which the return means 48 is housed. The upper housing 50 and the return means 48 are covered by the external skirt 42 of the dispensing body 16.

[0112] In the second embodiment, the outer casing 43 also covers the upper housing 50 and the return means 48.

[0113] In the embodiments illustrated herein, the piston 46 extends from an upper transverse wall 52 of the actuator 44 toward the interior of the receptacle 13. In other words, the piston 46 projects from the upper transverse wall of the actuator 44.

[0114] In particular, the actuator 44 has a housing in which the piston 46 is located.

[0115] When the actuating head 14 is mounted on the dispensing body 16, the piston 46 is housed in the storage chamber 40 of the dispensing body 16 and has an external diameter substantially similar to the internal diameter of the storage chamber 40 so that a translation thereof can involve suction or dispensing of the cosmetic product into the pipette 18.

[0116] Indeed, the actuator 44 being linked in translation with the piston 46, pressure on the actuator 44 causes the piston 46 to descend into the storage chamber 40 from its rest position to its extreme sampling or dispensing position.

[0117] Similarly, a rise of the actuator 44 causes the piston 46 to rise.

[0118] The dose of fluid product is thus taken and / or dispensed by a vertical translational movement of the actuator 44 which causes a translational movement (or sliding) of the piston 46 in the storage chamber 40.

[0119] When the pipette 18 is empty, a rise of the piston 46 causes the fluid product to be withdrawn and the pipette 18 immersed in the reservoir 12 to be filled with fluid product.

[0120] When the pipette 18 contains fluid product, a descent of the piston 46 causes the distribution of the fluid product contained in the pipette 18.

[0121] Advantageously, the return means 48 allows the piston 46 and the actuator 44 to be returned to the rest position.

[0122] The return is automatic, in other words spontaneous, that is to say that the piston 46 and the actuator 44 return to their rest position on their own after having descended, without the user needing to intervene.

[0123] Thus, when the user releases the actuator 44, the assembly automatically returns spontaneously to the rest position, that is to say without the user having need to intervene.

[0124] Figures 4 to 8 illustrate several examples of embodiments of an actuating head 14 which differ in the nature of the return means 48.

[0125] In each of these embodiments, the return means 48 forms a cavity 54 delimited by a wall and in which the piston 46 is housed.

[0126] Advantageously, the wall of the return means 48 is flexible.

[0127] Thus, the flexibility of the wall allows the height of the cavity 54 to vary during the translational movement of the actuator 44.

[0128] The cavity 54 thus has a variable height Hmax, Hmin. The height Hmax is maximum when the piston 46 and the actuator 44 are in the rest position, and the height Hmin is minimum when the piston 46 and the actuator 44 are in the extreme actuated position,

[0129] Thus, when the piston 46 and the actuator 44 are in the rest position, the height is maximum Hmax.

[0130] When the piston 46 and the actuator 44 descend, the height of the cavity 54 decreases to a minimum height Hmin. The piston 46 and the actuator 44 are then in an extreme sampling or dispensing position.

[0131] In other words, the return means 48 has a deployed position illustrated in [Fig. 1] corresponding to a rest position and a collected position illustrated in [Fig. 2] corresponding to an extreme position of collection or distribution.

[0132] Advantageously, the flexible wall is a lateral flexible wall. In other words, the cavity 54 is delimited by a lateral flexible wall.

[0133] In the exemplary embodiments, the return means 48, here the flexible wall, is connected to the actuator 44 and in material continuity with it. The return means 48 and the actuator 44 then have substantially identical diameters.

[0134] In other embodiments not illustrated, the return means 48 is connected to the piston 46 and in continuity of material with it. The return means 48 then has a diameter substantially identical to that of the piston 46.

[0135] The flexible wall can be a solid wall or an openwork wall.

[0136] Advantageously, the wall of the return means 48 is formed from a plurality of strips 56 of material. The strips 56 of material delimit the cavity 54 in which the piston 46 is housed.

[0137] Advantageously, the return means 48 comprises a lower positioning ring 58. The positioning ring 58 makes it possible to maintain the return means 48 in position in the dispensing body 16.

[0138] In particular, when the wall of the return means 48 is formed from strips 56 of material, each of the strips 56 of material is linked to the positioning ring 58 at their lower end ensuring that they are held in position, in particular with good spacing between them.

[0139] Preferably, the positioning ring 58 bears on the closing ring 28, for example on the transverse wall 36 thereof and the return means 48 envelops the upper skirt 38 of the closing ring 28, as shown in the illustrated embodiments. In other words, the upper skirt 38 of the closing ring 28 is located in the cavity 54 of the return means 48.

[0140] In the first, second and third embodiments of the return means 48 visible respectively in figures 1 to 4, 5 and 6 the wall of the return means 48 is formed of a plurality of strips 56 of material extending helically from an upper end projecting from the actuator 44 towards an opposite lower end and connected to the positioning ring 58.

[0141] In the first embodiment of the return means 48 visible in Figures 1 to 4, the wall of the return means 48 is formed of four strips 56 of material extending helically and winding in the same direction of rotation around the piston 46.

[0142] The helical winding ensures the flexibility of the wall of the return means 48 and its height variability.

[0143] In the second embodiment of the return means 48 illustrated in [Fig. 5], the wall of the return means 48 is formed of two strips 56 of material extending helically and winding in the same direction of rotation around the piston 46.

[0144] In the third embodiment of the return means 48 illustrated in [Fig. 6], the wall of the return means 48 is formed of four strips 56 of material extending helically and winding in two opposite directions of rotation around the piston 46. In other words, two strips 56 of material wind in a clockwise direction and two strips 56 wind in an opposite clockwise direction, causing them to cross at certain points.

[0145] In the fourth embodiment of the return means 48 illustrated in [Fig.7], the wall of the return means 48 is formed of strips 56 of material which are transverse rings in the extension of the actuator 44. In other words, the strips 56 of material extend annularly around the piston 46.

[0146] The wall of the return means 48 is thus formed of transverse rings stacked parallel to each other and connected to each other by material bridges 60.

[0147] The material bridges 60 make it possible to ensure the flexibility of the wall of the return means 48 and its height variability.

[0148] In this exemplary embodiment, the material bridges 60 are offset.

[0149] In other embodiments not shown, the material bridges are aligned.

[0150] The upper ring is connected to the actuator 44 by material bridges 60. The ring lower corresponds to positioning ring 58.

[0151] In the fifth embodiment of the return means 48 illustrated in [Fig. 8], the flexible wall is formed by three strips 56 of material projecting from the external surface of the piston 46 and regularly distributed around the piston 46. The strips 56 extend longitudinally from an upper end 60 located on the external wall of the piston 46 towards an opposite lower end 62 where they are connected to the positioning ring 58. The strips 56 are regularly distributed on the positioning ring 58.

[0152] Each of the strips 56 thus extends downwards so that the cavity 54 has a concave shape towards the lower part of the distributor 10.

[0153] The flexibility of each of the bands 56 allows the variability of the height Hmax, Hmin of the cavity 54 of the return means 48 and the return of the piston 46 and the actuator 44 to the rest position.

[0154] Advantageously, the dispenser 10 is made of a single material. Preferably, the dispenser 10 is entirely made of plastic.

[0155] In other words, the actuating head 14 and the dispensing body 16 are made of the same material, or at least of similar materials.

[0156] Similar materials are understood to mean materials which will have at least one common recycling circuit.

[0157] The use of the same material, or at least similar materials, to produce the different parts of the refill 16 is particularly advantageous for their recycling after use of the fluid product. Indeed, the presence of different materials presents disadvantages during recycling where the parts must be separated. The use of the same material makes it possible to throw away all the parts of the refill 16 together without having to disassemble it, which facilitates recycling.

[0158] The material may be selected from polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), recycled polyethylene terephthalate (R-PET), a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), polyethylene (PE), such as low density polyethylene (LDPE) and / or high density polyethylene (HDPE), a composite material, a post-consumer recycled (PCR) material and / or a similar material.

[0159] Preferably, the material is selected from polypropylene, polyterephthalate, post-consumer recycled polypropylene, post-consumer recycled polyterephthalate, or a mixture thereof.

[0160] Polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate are two plastic materials whose recycling cycle is well known.

[0161] Conventionally, the reservoir 12 is made of glass. It can also be made of plastic, wood, metal, hybrid material or mixtures thereof.

[0162] The disassembly of the actuating head 14 and the distribution body 16 and the disassembly of the distribution body 16 and the reservoir 12 being easily carried out, the fact that the reservoir 12 is made of a different material does not complicate recycling, each of the parts being recycled in a separate recycling cycle.

[0163] Advantageously, the receptacle 13 is made of a single material, preferably a plastic material such as polypropylene.
