Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: DESCRIPTION TITLE OF THE INVENTION: PAPER CONTAINER FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The invention relates to containers for cosmetic products and more particularly to a container for cosmetic products made of paper.
[0002] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] In order to address environmental protection concerns, some manufacturers have replaced the material used to make cosmetic product containers with paper. To close the base of the cosmetic product container with its lid, magnetic parts are placed at corresponding positions on the base and the lid. The attraction of these magnetic parts allows the lid to close the base. However, because the magnetic parts are glued to the base or even embedded within it, removing them from the cosmetic product container for recycling is difficult and even poses sorting and classification problems.
[0004] Furthermore, the base includes an insert containing a cosmetic product, and a through hole communicating with the insert is provided through the base. A person can insert a finger through the through hole to push the insert away from the base in order to replace the insert with a new one or to recycle the insert. However, the appearance of the cosmetic product container is visually unappealing because the through hole is located in the base.
[0005] Further improvements are therefore still needed. Summary of the invention
[0006] The invention therefore aims to provide a paper container for cosmetic products comprising a box made of paper and including a lid, a base, a flexible folding element connecting the lid and the base, a support disposed on an inner surface of the base, and at least one first temporary fixing element disposed on a top surface of the support; at least one storage element including a second temporary fixing element on a bottom face, configured to be temporarily fixed to the at least one first temporary fixing element such that the at least one storage element is configured to be removably fixed to the support, and at least one receptacle having a hole through a bottom thereof.

[0031] With reference to Figures 1 to 6, a paper container for cosmetic products 100 according to a first preferred embodiment of the invention comprises the following elements, as detailed below.
[0032] A box 10 is made of paper and includes a lid 11; a base 13; a flexible folding element (for example, a hinge) 12 connecting the lid 11 and the base 13; a storage compartment 14 arranged on an inner surface of the lid 11 having an end element 141 on one side, an opening 142 on the other side opposite the end element 141, a space 143 in the storage compartment 14, and two indentations 144 at intermediate parts of the end element 141 and the opening 142, respectively; a sheet of paper 15 arranged on an inner surface of the flexible folding element 12 and configured to cover folds formed on an inner surface of the box 10 so that the box 10 can be visually aesthetic; a support 16 disposed on an inner surface of the base 13. In the embodiment, the support 16 is a plate. The box 10 further includes a plurality of initial temporary fixing elements 17 on an upper surface of the support 16.
[0033] A mirror 20 is movably arranged in space 143 and includes a paper frame 21 arranged on a periphery and a background of the mirror 20 to prevent a person from being injured by the mirror 20 when pulling on the mirror 20.
[0034] A plurality of storage elements 30 are made of paper, metal, or plastic. The storage element 30 includes a second temporary fastening element 31 on its underside, configured to be temporarily attached to the first temporary fastening element 17 such that the storage elements 30 are configured to be removably attached to the support 16. In this embodiment, but not limited to it, the first temporary fastening element 17 and the second temporary fastening element 31 consist of a hook-and-loop closure. The storage element 30 further includes a plurality of receptacles 32, each for receiving one of a plurality of inserts 50 containing a cosmetic product. The insert 50 is made of plastic, metal, or paper. As specifically shown in [Fig. 4], a through hole 321 is formed through a bottom of the receptacle 32.
[0035] For the storage element 30 made of paper, a sheet of packaging paper 33 is provided on one periphery, one inner surface, and one underside, excluding the through holes 321. The sheet of packaging paper 33 is used to absorb moisture from the air, since the storage element 30 can become saturated with liquid due to moisture absorption. Therefore, the storage element 30 is moisture-resistant. Otherwise, microorganisms could develop in the cosmetic products it contains.
[0036] A strap 40 comprises a first half 41 disposed between a front part of the base 13 and a front part of the support 16, and a second half 42 disposed on a front part of the cover 11 such that the base 13 can be closed by the cover 11.
[0037] As specifically shown in [Fig. 6], a groove 131 is provided in a front portion of the inner surface of the base 13 and configured to receive the first half 41 of the strap 40. The base 13 and the support 16 are completely fixed together. This prevents compromising the correct fixing position of the base 13 and the support 16. Consequently, the fixing of the base 13 and the support 16 is secure.
[0038] As specifically shown in Figures 3 and 4, a person can remove the storage element 30 from the support 16 and insert a finger through the through hole 321 to push the insert 50 away from the receptacle 32 so as to replace the insert 50 with a new one or to recycle the insert 50. It is thus possible to reuse the box 10 and the storage element 30.
[0039] Furthermore, thanks to the presence of the first temporary fastening element 17 on the support 16 and the second temporary fastening element 31 on the storage element 30, it is easy to separate the storage element 30 from the support 16 to replace the cosmetic product contained in the insert 50 with a product of a different color. This is a quick replacement.
[0040] The mirror 20 is movable within the space 143 and is not fixed there with adhesive, thus reducing environmental damage. The person can remove the mirror 20 from the storage compartment 14 using their finger to push out a portion of the exposed mirror 20 at the recess 144 in order to recycle the mirror 20. Furthermore, the box 10 is made of paper. The invention is therefore an environmentally friendly product and can be reused.
[0041] With reference to Figures 7 to 8 in conjunction with [Fig. 4], a paper container for cosmetic products 100 according to a second preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated. The features of the second preferred embodiment are substantially the same as those of the first preferred embodiment, except for the following: the support 16 has a hollowed upper portion formed as an upper recess 18 for receiving the storage elements 30. The storage element 30 includes a tab 34 on one side. A person can pull on the tab 34 to remove the storage element 30 from the upper recess 18 and insert a finger through the through hole 321 to push the insert 50 away from the receptacle 32 so as to replace the insert 50 with a new one.
[0042] With reference to Figures 9 to 10, a paper container for cosmetic products 100 according to a third preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated. The characteristics of the third preferred embodiment are substantially the same as those of the first preferred embodiment, with the exception of the following points: two Sixty buttons are provided on an outer surface of the cover 11 and an outer surface of the base 13, respectively. A strap 40 is wrapped around the buttons 60 to secure the cover 11 and the base 13 together.
[0043] Although the invention has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, a person skilled in the art will recognize that the invention can be implemented with modifications, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
