Description

Title of the invention: Automatic opening box for the presentation and support of cosmetic products for people with reduced mobility Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of presentation of cosmetic products.

[0002] In particular, the present invention relates to the presentation, support and use of devices for packaging and applying cosmetic products intended for people with reduced mobility.

[0003] Generally, the invention applies to the presentation of devices for packaging and applying cosmetic products as commonly found on the market, said presentation allowing simplified use of said devices for packaging and applying cosmetic products for people with reduced mobility. Previous techniques

[0004] Devices for packaging and applying cosmetic products, namely cosmetic products packaged in a particular packaging commonly found on the market and containing, for example and without limitation, mascara, lipstick, pencil, foundation, or even eye shadow, are generally packaged so as to be able to be used by people who have their full physical capacity for manual gripping.

[0005] For example, devices for packaging and applying cosmetic products often include a thread used to reclose a mascara with a closing cap, or a rotating element for removing a lipstick stick from an envelope of a device for packaging and applying said lipstick stick, or even a clipping element between a protective cap and a container. These packages therefore require the person using them to be able to perform a rotational or back-and-forth movement, particularly for mascara, with the hand.

[0006] However, such a movement is sometimes not feasible for certain people with reduced mobility, who, due to an accident or illness, can no longer perform it and, consequently, apply cosmetic products themselves. Such disabilities arise, for example, from spasticity, tremors, loss of an upper limb, loss of strength.

[0007] The production of packaging specific to each particular morphology is difficult. clearly not feasible on a large scale and would involve significant implementation costs.

[0008] In addition, people with reduced mobility, in a problem of inclusion and simplicity of purchase, are looking for solutions which can allow them to use the same packaged cosmetic products as people with full mobility. Statement of the invention

[0009] The present invention therefore aims to provide a box for the presentation of cosmetic products facilitating access to and use of packaged cosmetic products by people with reduced mobility.

[0010] The present invention relates to a box for the presentation and support of at least one device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, the box comprising a container and a cover mounted in a movable manner on the container between a closed position and an open position for access to said device, the box comprising a user presence detector and a motor configured to move the cover between its open position and its closed position as a function of signals transmitted by the presence detector.

[0011] Thus, a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product positioned in the box is protected and easily accessible for a person with reduced mobility, the latter not having to manually open the box.

[0012] In one embodiment, the container comprises at least one support configured to support the device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0013] Advantageously, the box further comprises a base supporting the container, the support being inclined so that the longitudinal axis of the device supported by the support is inclined, for example at an angle of between 20° and 70°, preferably between 30° and 45° relative to the plane defined by the base.

[0014] Advantageously, the container is modular and comprises at least one module comprising the support for supporting the device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0015] In a particular embodiment, the container comprises a plurality of modules, each module comprising a support for supporting a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, each module being removably mounted on an adjacent module.

[0016] In an even more particular embodiment, each module comprises a plurality of supports for each supporting a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0017] Thus, pooling modules for certain packaging devices, for example mascaras and liners, makes it possible to reduce costs, both during production and also for the final buyer.

[0018] Advantageously, the lid is modular and comprises at least one modular lid portion positioned opposite a module of the container when the lid is in the closed position, each modular lid portion being configured to be removably mounted to another modular lid portion.

[0019] According to one embodiment, the motor is positioned on the container.

[0020] In one embodiment, the container comprises a first flange and a second flange positioned face to face at opposite ends of the container so as to define an internal volume of the container in which the module(s) are arranged, the motor being positioned on one of the first or second flange, the first flange and the second flange being removably mounted on a module.

[0021] Advantageously, the cover comprises at least one closure device configured to exert pressure on a closing cap of said device when the cover is in the closed position.

[0022] Thus, a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product positioned in the box is protected and easily accessible for a person with reduced mobility, while allowing said packaging device to be closed and / or kept closed.

[0023] Advantageously, the capping device comprises an articulated arm, a spring connected to a first end of said articulated arm, and a platform fixed to a second end of the articulated arm, the platform being configured to exert pressure on the closing cap of the device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0024] In one embodiment, the box includes an anti-pinch sensor between the lid and the container.

[0025] Advantageously, the presence detector is positioned on the container.

[0026] Advantageously, the presence detector comprises a photoelectric cell.

[0027] The box may also comprise at least one human-machine interface communicating with a control unit. The human-machine interface may comprise a display screen, in particular an LED screen and / or control buttons and / or control keys, located for example on an armchair and / or on a ring and / or on a bracelet and / or on a diabolo.

[0028] The interface can offer various functions and / or programs allowing for example to adjust certain operating parameters of the box, or to indicate certain information to the user, such as the battery level, the time of use, the product level, user-specific information, or information relating to the safety and / or conditions of use of the box.

[0029] The interface may allow for selecting an operating mode to treat different body areas.

[0030] The interface can communicate via a wired or wireless connection, for example via Wifi or Bluetooth, with a terminal such as a mobile phone, a tablet, a computer in order, for example, to receive updates or send data related to the use of the box.

[0031] The box may be provided with a stabilizing apparatus as described in patent US11458062B2, capable of stabilizing the box in response to a movement caused by a user, comprising: a receiver configured to be coupled to the box; at least one sensor configured to detect a movement caused by a user; circuits configured to determine a compensating movement to compensate for the detected movement; and at least one movement generating device integrated in the receiver configured to control a movement of the box according to the determined compensating movement. [0046] Detailed description of at least one embodiment

[0047] [Fig.l] schematically shows a box 1 for the presentation and support of at least one device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product. The cosmetic product is, for example, but not limited to, mascara, lipstick, pencil, foundation, or even eyeshadow. Several devices 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products can be presented within this box 1.

[0048] The box 1 comprises a container 5 and a cover 7 mounted movably on the container between a closed position PF and an open position PO for access to said device 3. A device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product can thus be positioned in the container and protected from humid or excessively dry air by the latter, while waiting to be used by a user.

[0049] According to one embodiment, the box 1 comprises a user presence detector 9 and a motor 11 configured to move the cover 7 between its open position PO and its closed position PF and vice versa depending on signals transmitted by the presence detector 9. A person with reduced mobility can therefore approach the presence detector 9 and trigger the automatic opening of the cover 7, facilitating its use. Advantageously, the presence detector is capable of detecting the presence of the user's hand. The cover 7 can then close when the presence detector 9 no longer detects the user, or after a certain time spent in the open position PO.

[0050] For example, the presence detector 9 is positioned on the container 5.

[0051] In a particular embodiment, the presence detector 9 comprises a photoelectric cell.

[0052] Advantageously, the box 1 comprises an end-of-travel sensor positioned on the cover 7 or on the container 5. This end-of-travel sensor makes it possible to send a signal stopping the rotation of the motor 11 when the cover 7 has reached one or other of the open position PO or closed position PF.

[0053] Advantageously, the box 1 comprises an anti-pinch sensor positioned on the cover 7 or on the container 5. This anti-pinch sensor makes it possible to send a signal stopping the rotation of the motor 11 when said anti-pinch sensor detects a limb of a user or an object positioned between the cover 7 and the container 5.

[0054] According to one embodiment, the container 5 comprises at least one support 13 configured to support the device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0055] According to various embodiments, the support 13 is mounted on the container 5 by means of a clamp fixed to a mechanical arm, or by means of a molded surface configured to match the shapes of said support 13.

[0056] In particular, the container 5 may comprise several supports 13 each configured to support a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, for example a support 13 for a device 3 for packaging and applying a stick 15 of cosmetic product of the lipstick type, or a support for a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product of the foundation type.

[0057] Advantageously, the box 1 comprises a base 17 supporting the container 5 when the box 1 is placed on a placement surface by means of said base 17.

[0058] The box 1 advantageously comprises an electricity supply from the mains and / or from a battery, one and / or the other preferably being positioned in the base 17.

[0059] Advantageously, the support 13 is inclined so that the longitudinal axis X-X' of the device 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products supported by the support 13 is inclined, for example by an angle of between 20° and 70°, preferably between 30° and 45° relative to the plane defined by the base 17. This inclination allows a better gripping of the device 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products by a user of the box 1.

[0060] According to one embodiment, notably illustrated in [Fig.2], the container 5 is modular and comprises at least one module 19 comprising the support 13 for supporting the device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0061] In particular in the embodiment shown, the container 5 comprises a plurality of modules 19, each module 19 comprising a support 13 for supporting a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, each module 19 being removably mounted on an adjacent module 19. Each module is for example provided with male and female attachment means 21.

[0062] A modular container 5 allows a user to purchase only the number of modules 19 necessary for their use and thus to offer a customizable box 1.

[0063] According to a particular embodiment, the cover 7 is modular and comprises at least one modular portion 23 of cover 7 positioned opposite a module of the container 5 when the cover 7 is in the closed position PF, each modular portion 23 of cover 7 being configured to be removably mounted to another modular portion 23 of cover 7.

[0064] Thus, a box 1 may comprise an assembly of sub-boxes each consisting of a module 19 of the container 5 and a modular portion 23 of the cover 7, each sub-box being able to be purchased separately and added in a modular manner to form the box 1.

[0065] In one embodiment, the motor 11 is positioned on the container 5, for example near a hinge 25 connecting the cover 7 and the container 5, the motor 11 actuating the hinge 25 allowing the movement of the cover 7 between its open position PO and its closed position PF.

[0066] In a particular embodiment, the container 5 comprises a first flange 27 and a second flange 29 positioned face to face at opposite ends of the container 5 so as to define an internal volume 31 of the container 5 in which the module(s) 19 are arranged, the first flange 27 and the second flange 29 each being removably mounted on one of the modules 19.

[0067] Advantageously, the motor 11 is positioned on one of the first 27 or the second flange 29.

[0068] Advantageously, the presence detector 9 is positioned on one of the first 27 or the second flange 29.

[0069] According to a particularly advantageous embodiment illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, the cover 7 comprises at least one capping device 33 configured to exert pressure on a closing cap 35 of said device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product when the cover 7 is in the closed position PF.

[0070] The cover 7 may comprise a plurality of closure devices 33 for a plurality of devices 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products.

[0071] The capping device 33 makes it possible to guarantee a long lifespan for the cosmetic products and, above all, allows people with reduced mobility to be able to recap the devices 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products without difficulty.

[0072] Advantageously, the plugging device 33 is a mechanical plugging device.

[0073] The capping device 33 comprises for example an articulated arm 37, a spring 39 connected to a first end 41 of said articulated arm 37, and a platform 43 fixed to a second end of the articulated arm, the platform 43 being configured to exert pressure on the closing cap 35 of the device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0074] In a particular embodiment illustrated in [Fig. 3], the platform 43 makes it possible to exert pressure on the closing cap 35 of a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product already in place in the support 13, here for a lip stick 15. Here, the closing cap 35 is formed by the support 13 and the pressure exerted on the closing cap 35 is carried out by means of a rotating wheel of the device 3 for packaging and applying the stick 15 of cosmetic product.

[0075] In another particular embodiment illustrated in [Fig. 4], the platform 43 makes it possible to exert pressure on the closing cap 35 of a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, said closing cap 35 being fixed on the platform 43. Here, the cosmetic product is for example a foundation. When the cover 7 closes, the capping device 33 brings the closing cap closer to the cosmetic product in order to close the device 3 for packaging and applying the cosmetic product.

[0076] [Fig.5A] shows a device 3 for packaging and applying a mascara-type cosmetic product, said device 3 comprising on the one hand a receptacle 45 for the cosmetic product, opened by a neck 47, and on the other hand a brush 49 comprising a closing cap 35, the brush 49 being able to be introduced into the receptacle 45 so that the closing cap 35 comes into contact with the neck 47 in order to close the device 3 for packaging and applying the cosmetic product.

[0077] Optionally, the neck 47 comprises a thread and the closing cap 35 may comprise a thread cooperating with the thread of the neck 47.

[0078] [Fig.5B] shows a support 13 for a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, for example for the device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product illustrated in [Fig.5A].

[0079] Such a support 13 may for example be positioned in the box 1 described above in order to house and facilitate the use of a cosmetic product by a person with reduced mobility. In particular, such a support 13 may be positioned in a module 19 of a modular container 5 of said box 1.

[0080] In one embodiment, the support 13 comprises a housing 51 defining an internal volume 53 for receiving the device 3 and being provided with an opening 55 for inserting said device 3 into the internal volume 53.

[0081] The housing 51 is for example tubular in shape and closed at one end opposite the insertion opening by a base 57.

[0082] The support 13 advantageously comprises a base 59 of support 13 mounted in the internal volume 53 and configured to support the device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product inserted in the internal volume 53.

[0083] The support 13 further comprises means 61 for adjusting the distance between the base 59 and the insertion opening 55.

[0084] Thus, the height of the base 59 is adjustable, making it possible to adapt the support 13 to different sizes of device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product. Such a device 3 can therefore be installed in the support 13 by an operator or a relative of a person with reduced mobility, the height of the base 59 being able to be adjusted during installation.

[0085] In a particular embodiment, the means 61 for adjusting the distance between the base 59 and the insertion opening 55 comprise an actuating wheel 63 connected to the base 59 and accessible from outside the housing 51.

[0086] Advantageously, the actuating wheel 63 is provided with a screw 65 extending through the base of the housing 51 and connected to the base 59 to ensure the translational movement of the latter during rotation of the wheel.

[0087] According to one embodiment, the support 13 comprises a membrane 67 made of elastic material mounted on the housing 51 and comprising a slot 69 ([Fig.6]) in its center, the slot 69 being positioned in the axial extension of the insertion opening 55, and configured to hold said device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product passed through the slot 69. In the illustrated embodiment, the membrane 67 is located axially below the insertion opening 55. Alternatively, the membrane 67 could be located axially above the insertion opening 55. In another variant, the membrane 67 could be positioned at the level of the insertion opening 55, in other words at the same distance from the base 59 as the insertion opening 55.

[0088] The membrane 67 makes it possible to hold the device 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic product passed through it transversely. In addition, the membrane 67 creates friction minimizing unwanted longitudinal movements of said device 3. The membrane 67 also makes it possible to adapt to different sizes and widths of device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product.

[0089] The membrane 67 is for example round and less than 3 millimeters thick.

[0090] Advantageously, the slot 69 of the membrane 67 is cruciform, as illustrated in [Fig.6].

[0091] The membrane 67 then makes it possible to insert and maintain in the membrane 67 a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product even easier, in particular when removing the brush 49 during use of the cosmetic product. Alternatively, it remains possible to provide other shapes for the slot, for example rectilinear.

[0092] In a particular embodiment, the membrane 67 comprises silicone.

[0093] [Fig.5B] also illustrates a kit 71 comprising the support 13 described previously as well as an annular seal 73, also shown in [Fig.5A], configured to be fitted around the neck 47 of the device 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic product, as also illustrated in [Fig.5A].

[0094] This annular seal 73 allows hermetic closure of the device 3 for packaging and applying the cosmetic product, in particular after the closing cap 35 has been placed on said annular seal 73, and for example following pressure exerted by the capping device 33 described previously when the cover 7 is closed and the support 13 is placed in the box 1 described previously.

[0095] If the neck 47 contains a thread, the annular seal 73 also makes it possible to cover said thread and to avoid the need to perform a rotational and screwing movement to close the device 3.

[0096] Advantageously, the annular seal 73 comprises at least one sealing lip configured to extend in projection relative to the neck 47 of said device.

[0097] Figures 7A, 7B, and 7C show a device 3 for packaging and applying a stick 15 of cosmetic product, said device 3 comprising an envelope 75 comprising the stick 15 of cosmetic product, and a rotary wheel 77 relative to the envelope 75 and along the longitudinal axis X-X' of the device 3, the rotary wheel being configured so as to allow the longitudinal movement of the stick 15 of cosmetic product between the inside and the outside of the envelope 75. The stick 15 of cosmetic product is for example a stick 15 of lipstick.

[0098] In Figures 7A, 7B, and 7C, a kit 79 is more particularly shown, comprising the device 3 for packaging and applying a stick 15 of cosmetic product as well as a support 13 for said device 3 for packaging and applying a stick 15 of cosmetic product.

[0099] The support 13 can for example be positioned in the box 1 described previously in order to house and facilitate the use of a stick 15 of cosmetic product by a person with reduced mobility. In particular, the support 13 or the kit 79 can be positioned in a module 19 of a modular container 5 of said box 1.

[0100] The support 13 comprises a housing 81 defining an internal volume 83 for receiving said device and is provided with an opening 85 for inserting said device 3 into the internal volume 83.

[0101] The housing 81 also comprises a base 87 opposite the insertion opening 85.

[0102] The housing 81 comprises at least one internal bead 89 extending radially inside the internal receiving volume 83 and delimiting a stop surface 91 for one end of said device 3 inserted into the internal volume 83, in particular one end of the casing 75.

[0103] In addition, the internal bead 89 is preferably positioned at a sufficient distance from the base 87 so that the cosmetic product stick 15 can extend from the casing 75 without breaking against the base 87.

[0104] Thus, the internal volume 83 comprises a first part 93 between the insertion opening 85 and the internal bead 89 configured to accommodate the device 3, in particular the casing 75, and a second part 95 between the base 87 of the housing 81 and the internal bead 89 configured to accommodate the stick 15 of cosmetic product extending from the interior of the device 3 in an exit position of said stick 15 of cosmetic product.

[0105] The housing 81 is furthermore configured to allow the rotary wheel 77 of the device 3 for packaging and applying the stick 15 of cosmetic product to extend outside the internal volume 83.

[0106] The internal bead 89 is for example annular.

[0107] Alternatively, several internal beads 89 spaced apart in the circumferential direction may extend inside the internal volume 83 so as to delimit the stop surface 91.

[0108] In an advantageous embodiment, the support 13 comprises an annular seal 97 configured to be positioned axially between the internal bead(s) 89 and the device 3 inserted in the internal volume 83. The annular seal 97 makes it possible to increase the contact surface between the support 13 and the device 3 without damaging the latter, and also makes it possible to guarantee a seal conducive to the preservation of the stick 15 of cosmetic product.

[0109] In one embodiment, the support 13 comprises a motor 99 configured to rotate the housing 81 along the longitudinal axis X-X' of the housing 81, in particular of the device 3 when the latter is positioned in the housing 81.

[0110] The motor 99 is for example positioned on the housing 81, preferably on the base 87 of the housing 81.

[0111] Thus, by friction between the device 3 for packaging and applying the stick 15 of cosmetic product and the case 81, in particular between the casing 75 and the annular bead 89 or the annular seal 97, the device 3 for packaging and applying the stick 15 of cosmetic product is also set in rotation. When the rotary wheel 77 is held fixed by a user or by the device 33 for capping the cover 7 of the box 1 when the cover 7 is closed, the motor 99 then allows the stick 15 of cosmetic product to be moved longitudinally, in particular to make it extend from the envelope 75.

[0112] Thus, a person with reduced mobility can use the cosmetic product stick 15 without having to perform the rotational movement of the hand to turn the rotary wheel 77.

[0113] According to one embodiment, the support 13 comprises a detector 101 of a free end of the stick 15 of cosmetic product when said stick 15 of cosmetic product extends into the internal volume 83 of the support 13.

[0114] The detector 101 is for example positioned on the housing 81, preferably in the second part 95 of the internal volume 83, even more preferably at a distance from the internal bead 89 identical to an optimal exit distance of a free end of the stick 15 of cosmetic product relative to the end of the casing 75.

[0115] Advantageously, the detector 101 comprises a photoelectric cell.

[0116] Thus, in use conditions, when the detector 101 does not detect a free end of the stick 15 of cosmetic product, it sends a signal to the motor 99 which will rotate the housing 81 so as to set said stick 15 of cosmetic product in motion and to align its free end with the detector 101.

[0117] In an embodiment in which the box 1 as described above comprises a support 13 with a device 3 for packaging and applying a stick 15 of cosmetic product, the box 1 preferably comprises a means (not shown) for rotating the motor 99 of the support 13 when the detector 101 does not detect a free end of the stick 15 of cosmetic product in the internal volume 83 of the support 13 and when the cover 7 is in the closed position PF. In this embodiment, the cover 7 comprises the capping device 33 so as to keep the rotary wheel 77 fixed.

[0118] [Fig.7A] illustrates in particular a support 13 undergoing a pressure P, for example from the capping device 33, the free end of the stick 15 of cosmetic product extending beyond the detector 101.

[0119] [Fig.7B] then illustrates the rotation of the motor 99, and consequently of the housing 81 as well as of the casing 75, while the rotary wheel 77 remains fixed, in order to align the free end of the stick 15 of cosmetic product with the detector 101.

[0120] [Fig.7C] finally illustrates a stopping of the pressure P exerted by the capping device 33 and a withdrawal of the device 3 for packaging and applying the stick 15 of cosmetic product.

[0121] A person with reduced mobility can thus use the stick 15 of cosmetic product without having to uncap it, to perform a rotational movement to extend the stick 15 of cosmetic product outside the envelope 75, and by having a stick 15 of cosmetic product extending to an optimal length, allowing easy application and ensuring that the cosmetic product stick 15 does not break.

[0122] The box 1 and the supports 13 described above allow for easy presentation and use of devices 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products by people with reduced mobility. However, gripping such devices 3 remains a difficulty for some people.

[0123] [Fig. 8] shows an embodiment of a gripping kit 103 of a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, in particular here a device 3 for packaging and applying a cosmetic product as illustrated in [Fig. 5A].

[0124] The gripping kit 103 comprises an attachment element 105 configured to be fixed to said device 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products, and a gripper 107 configured to be manipulable by a user, the attachment element 105 and the gripper 107 being able to be secured to each other by magnetic attraction.

[0125] Thus, it is possible for a person with reduced mobility to have a gripper 107 fixed to a part of the body, to approach said gripper 107 to the attachment element 105 and to be able to use the device 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic product without having to perform a gripping movement with the fingers, a movement which is sometimes impossible for these people with reduced mobility.

[0126] In a particular embodiment, the gripper 107 comprises a ring 109 positionable around a user's finger. Thus, the gripper 107 is within reach of the user in all circumstances and is discreet.

[0127] Advantageously, one of the attachment element 105 and the gripper 107 comprises a metal washer 111, the other comprising a magnet, or an electromagnet 113.

[0128] The metal washer 111 comprises in particular a magnetic and / or ferromagnetic metal.

[0129] As illustrated, the attachment element 105 comprises an electromagnet 113 and the gripper 107 comprises a metal washer 111, for example fixed on the ring 109. The advantage of the electromagnet 113 is that it can be controlled and therefore does not always attract all the ferromagnetic materials in the vicinity.

[0130] Advantageously, the gripping kit 103 comprises a means 115 for remote activation of the electromagnet 113 of the attachment element 105 and / or of the gripper 107.

[0131] The remote activation means 115 is for example configured to control the electromagnet 113 of the attachment element 105 and / or the gripper 107 by radio wave.

[0132] In a particular embodiment, the remote activation means 115 comprises a presence detector, for example the presence detector 9 of the box. 1, and / or a button.

[0133] Advantageously, the attachment element 105 comprising the electromagnet 113 further comprises a rechargeable battery 117 configured to power said electromagnet 113.

[0134] The cover 7 of the box 1 described previously advantageously comprises an induction recharging system (not shown) for recharging the electromagnet of the attachment element 105, for example when the cover 7 is in the closed position PF.

[0135] Thus, the assembly formed by the gripping kit and the box 1 allows the presentation, access and simplified gripping of devices 3 for packaging and applying cosmetic products by people with reduced mobility.
