This invention belongs to the field of
animal feed production technology, and discloses an automated preparation method and apparatus for monkey food for laboratory monkeys. The apparatus includes a frame, a tunnel-type
drying oven, and a collection bin. The frame is equipped with a mesh
conveyor belt, a perforated
powder dispenser, and a quantitative dosing device. The frame includes a belt mounting bin and a storage bin, a
powder bin, and a dosing bin. The perforated
powder dispenser includes a
drive shaft, a powder lowering plate, a pressure rod, and several sets of fixed sleeves and perforating cones. The pressure rod passes laterally through strip-shaped sliding holes on several fixed sleeves and is fixedly connected to the corresponding perforating cones. The two ends of the pressure rod are respectively connected to an eccentric wheel via driven wheels. The quantitative dosing device includes a conical dosing groove, a dosing inlet
pipe, a dispensing sleeve, and a discharging
pipe. A dispensing shaft is provided inside the dispensing sleeve, and a
drive wheel at one end of the dispensing shaft is hinged to the center position of the eccentric wheel via a connecting rod. This invention effectively solves the problems of low production efficiency, high labor costs, time-consuming and labor-intensive processes involving drilling holes and then manually adding drugs, as well as the problem of easy
drug detachment.
