Description

Title of the invention: THERAPEUTIC BED WITH PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC AND THERMAL EFFECTS Technical field

[0001] The technical solution implements a physiotherapy bed with pulsed electromagnetic and thermal effects which is a priori used to stimulate physiological processes in animals, in particular in pets. Prior art

[0002] There are many heated pet beds and blankets on the market that generate infrared radiation or heat or heat with temperature control. There are various pulsed magnetic field emission applicators and flat strips on the market. These products are used independently, without heating.

[0003] The synergistic effect of heat and pulsed magnetic field is known and is used only in the form of physiotherapy cushions and mattresses for humans, but not for animals. Summary of the invention

[0004] All the disadvantages indicated above are eliminated by the therapeutic bed according to this technical solution with pulsed electromagnetic and thermal effects. This animal therapy bed consists of a flexible core under which is fixed an emission network which emits pulsed electromagnetic induction of 0.2 to 25 pT and which is formed of a single resistance cable arranged in equidistant parallel loops placed at least under a part, preferably under the entire surface of the flexible body intended for therapy, while the ends of the resistance cable are connected to the source pulsed current with a frequency of 1 to 50 Hz. The use of the resistance cable for the emission network is particularly advantageous. It allows its relatively inexpensive and precise production and ensures the creation of appropriate electromagnetic induction and heat.

[0005] According to its preferred embodiment, the therapeutic bed has a core of flexible material, preferably of PUR or HR foam, specially milled to ensure efficient heat and moisture removal. This solution allows the free propagation of electromagnetic induction and heat from the emission network upwards through the flexible core. According to the advantageous embodiment, the flexible core is equipped with ventilation channels in the form of longitudinal and transverse sections, further enabling smooth propagation of the electromagnetic waves and thermal radiation to the upper surface of the bed. It is also advantageous if the height of the flexible core is 4 to 12 cm.

[0006] A completely new dimension of therapeutic properties relates to the use of periodic cycles of the programs without the need to use a thermal sensor. For good stimulation of the animal's organism, it is advantageous to use three types of daily cycle programs and preferably at least three night cycle programs with automatic shutdown after the end of the given therapeutic program. Another improvement is based on the fact that with the help of a hardware modification of the control unit, two options for the operation of the emission network can be started. The first is the possibility of simultaneous action of heat and pulsed electromagnetic induction, and the second possibility is the action of heat without pulsed electromagnetic induction.

[0007] According to the advantageous embodiment, the emission network is created removable as a self-contained module where a thin insulating material is part of the emission network, preferably 0.2 to 1 cm thick, which ensures that the emission network does not cool from below. Fixing the emission network with Velcro to the flexible core is also advantageous because it allows good access for cleaning and repairs.

[0008] According to yet another advantageous embodiment, the therapeutic bed has a resistance cable length in the emission mat of between 15 and 30 m (depending on the size of the bed), while its diameter is 0.42 mm. This ensures that the value of the electromagnetic induction is within the range favorable for this use. As already mentioned, the resistance cable is arranged in equidistant parallel loops in the emission mat. The distance can be chosen according to the needs of the effects of the therapy, in particular the place where it is to act. The resistance cable is preferably sewn into a plastic mesh in the emission mat, so that the emission network is accessible for cleaning and the resistance cable cannot be affected by external moisture. The emission network is particularly advantageously designed in such a way that the therapeutic effect has a global effect on the entire organism of the animal.

[0009] As already mentioned, the ends of the resistance cable are connected to the control unit. According to one of its preferred embodiments, the control unit also comprises a direct current power source and the polarity of which is changed according to the appropriate number of cycles per minute, so that an alternating current with rectangular pulses with a frequency of 1 to 50 Hz, preferably 1 to 49 Hz is created, and the frequency of the supply current is particularly advantageous at 48 Hz. The voltage has a particularly advantageous value of 24 V.

[0010] Of course, it is also possible to make certain adjustments to the therapeutic bed, such as changing the thickness of the core or changing the length of the resistance cable, etc. However, care must be taken to ensure that the resulting value of the electromagnetic induction at the upper surface of the bed is kept within the prescribed range. However, such modifications also fall within the scope of this technical solution.

[0011] An important part of the control unit are the fasteners that allow the control unit to be fixed to the wall or bed frame, which will be appreciated by elderly and sick people. This part of the control unit is important, both from the side of the safety of the animal that cannot reach the control unit, and from the side of the animal's keeper who fixes the control unit at such a height and place that allows him to comfortably control the control unit. Of course, the control unit can also be placed freely on the floor.

[0012] The cover of the bed is also very specific for the correct flow of heat upwards and ventilation of excess heat and moisture. It is advantageous to use a cover made of two materials, where the lower part and sides of the bed are made of waterproof material (e.g. KORTEXIN) and the upper part of the material, on which the animal lies, is preferably made of breathable material. This solution ensures the direct effect of heat on the lying animal and the elimination of cold from the bottom of the bed and from the sides.

[0013] In particular, the invention relates to a therapeutic bed with pulsed electromagnetic and thermal effects characterized in that it consists of a cover, a flexible core under which is placed an emission network with an electromagnetic induction transmitter of value 0.2 to 25 consisting of a resistance cable arranged in equidistant parallel loops arranged at least under a part of the flexible core, where the ends of the resistance cable are connected to the pulsed current source, while the emission network with insulating material is fixed to the flexible core by Velcro fasteners while the entire emission network is connected by the resistance cable to a control unit.

[0014] According to other optional features of the method, the latter may optionally include one or more of the following features, alone or in combination: • the control unit is provided with therapeutic programs to ensure a periodic cycle of therapy during the day at intervals of 2 to 6 times per hour and during the night, at intervals of 1 to 4 times per hour, and therapeutic programs for the common emission of heat and electromagnetic induction or only for the emission of heat without electromagnetic induction and automatic therapy shutdown programs. • the control unit is equipped with brackets to hang on the bed frame or fix to the wall. • the height of the flexible core is 4 cm to 12 cm. • the emission network is fixed to the insulating material to avoid a rapid cooling of this emission network from below. • the resistance cable is attached to a flexible mesh in the transmission network. • the transmission network as a standalone module is removable from the kernel flexible, while it is preferably attached to it by means of Velcro fasteners. • the cover is made of non-breathable material on the bottom and sides and its upper part is made of breathable material. Brief description of the drawings

[0015] [Fig.l] is a sectional view of the therapeutic bed with control unit.

[0016] [Fig.2] is a view of the transmission network with the distribution of Velcro fasteners for attachment to the flexible core.

[0017] [Fig.3] is a view of the control unit with fasteners which allow hang it on the bed frame or fix it to the wall. Example of embodiments

[0018] The implementation example is shown in [Fig.l] to 3. [Fig.l] shows the individual parts of the therapy bed arranged from top to bottom: cover 1, flexible core 2, under which the transmission network 3 is arranged and below is the insulating material 4, which is part of the transmission network 3, and which is preferably attached to the flexible core, e.g. with Velcro fasteners 5. The control unit 6 with periodic therapy cycle programs is connected by the cable 7 to the transmission network 3 and is equipped with fasteners 8 for hanging on the bed frame or the wall.

[0019] The flexible core 2 is shown in [Fig.l] as a single block, which is preferably stored in the sleeping cover in order to ensure the compactness of the flexible core 2 and thus easy handling. It is important to emphasize that this sleeping cover has no positive effect on the therapy, but it is important to respect the condition that the sleeping cover is made of non-breathable materials on the bottom and sides, and of breathable materials on the top. The advantage of the flexible core 2 is that it forms a limited and closed environment in which the air can quickly heat up or cool down. It is important to understand that the therapy bed is intended to be used for at least a few hours, preferably all night, and for some lying animals this may be practically all day long, the comfort provided by this therapeutic bed is therefore very important.

[0020] A resistance cable is arranged in the emission network 3 which is placed there in the same way as in [Fig.2]. It is obvious that this placement of the resistance cable in the emission network 3 is not the only possible mode, there are several modes for placing the resistance cable in the emission network 3 in order to ensure the electromagnetic induction of the corresponding value. The location is mainly determined by the needs of the places where the electromagnetic induction is to be radiated. Its placement in the emission mat will certainly be suggested by anyone dealing with the field of pulsed magnetotherapy. The emission network 3 can be divided into several areas which can have different electromagnetic induction values. For example, it can be the lowest in the middle of the bed and increased on the sides. The emission network 3 is preferably designed to be removable from the flexible core to facilitate its cleaning.

[0021] In Fig. 3 is shown the control unit which comprises universal fixings 8 for fixing to the wall by drilling or hanging on the bed frame while this control unit can also be placed on the floor. Industrial uses
