Abstract
The present invention relates to a system for preparing and triggering the deployment of the wings of a chick in response to a stimulus, comprising - a first conveyor (16) and a second conveyor (17), each of these conveyors having an upstream end and a downstream end, the downstream end of the first conveyor (16) opening onto the upstream end of the second conveyor (17), the first and second conveyors defining an identical direction of movement, - at least one first device (19) for applying a stimulus to said chick so as to cause the chick to voluntarily deploy its wings, being placed at the first conveyor (16) to cause the chick to deploy its wings, before it passes over the second conveyor, and - at least one second device (19) for applying a stimulus to said chick so as to cause the chick to voluntarily deploy its wings,being placed at the second conveyor (17) to trigger the deployment of the chick's wings, preferably in a predefined area of the second conveyor.
