AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing urban sliding sport modules generate significant noise pollution during use due to the transmission of vibrations from the rolling surface to the frame.

Method used

A soundproof box is formed by bolting an aluminum rolling surface and an elastomer intermediate layer to a metal underside, which is then fixed to a frame, creating a damping mechanism to isolate the rolling surface from the frame and reduce noise transmission.

Benefits of technology

The design effectively reduces noise pollution by preventing vibrations from being transmitted to the frame, maintaining a robust and simple structure.

Description

Title of the invention: Development module for a practitioner of an urban sliding sport Technical field

[0001] The invention relates to the technical field of sports equipment, and more particularly to the areas of development of a so-called urban sliding sport, such as skateboarding, roller skating, scootering, BMX, etc. Prior art

[0002] In the field of urban board sports, such as skateboarding, roller skating or the like, a practitioner of this sport can move around on areas made up of several modules.

[0003] According to the state of the art, each module has an assembled structure, for example mechanically welded, forming a frame, supporting a metal rolling surface on which the practitioner is intended to move.

[0004] The main disadvantage of this type of evolution module is the noise generated during the practice of sportsmen. Statement of the invention

[0005] The aim of the invention is to provide a development module for a practitioner of an urban sliding sport, which makes it possible to reduce the noise pollution generated during the use of this module.

[0006] For this purpose, such a module has been developed comprising a frame supporting a rolling surface, remarkable in that the rolling surface is part of an assembly comprising the rolling surface, a damping intermediate layer, and a metal underside, the rolling surface being fixed to the metal underside, for example by being bolted thereto, so as to enclose the intermediate layer and form a soundproof box.

[0007] In this way, the evolution module according to the invention has a rolling surface isolated from the frame by means of the soundproof box, preventing the vibrations generated during the evolution of the urban sliding sport practitioner from being transmitted to the frame.

[0008] According to a particular embodiment, the rolling surface is made of aluminum, preferably sandblasted.

[0009] The intermediate layer is preferably made of elastomer, for example EPDM (from the acronym Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer), or any other recycled rubber or elastomer.

[0010] According to a particular embodiment, the assembly is bolted to the frame, which is preferably mechanically welded. Of course, the frame can also be assembled by bolting, or any other technique, without departing from the scope of the invention. Brief description of the drawings

[0011] [Fig-1] is an exploded perspective view of an evolution module for a practitioner of an urban sliding sport in accordance with the invention.

[0012] [Fig.2] is a side view of a module according to the invention.

[0013] [Fig.3] is a perspective view of a module according to the invention, seen from below.

[0014] [Fig.4] is a perspective view of an assembly incorporating the rolling surface of such a module. Detailed description of the invention

[0015] With reference to figures 1 to 4, the present invention relates to an evolution module (1) intended for practitioners of urban sliding sports, such as skateboarding, rollerblading, BMX or similar, in which the noise pollution generated during the practice of this sport is very significantly reduced.

[0016] The module (1) comprises a frame (2) preferably mechanically welded, composed of side members (3) and cross members (4) having arrangements for being assembled by bolted connections. It may also be envisaged to have a frame composed of a structure with mechanically welded tubular cross members for example.

[0017] The crosspieces (4) support a rolling surface (5) forming part of an assembly (6) composed of the rolling surface (5) as such, a damping intermediate layer (7), and a metal underside (8).

[0018] The rolling surface (5) is an aluminum sheet, preferably sandblasted to improve grip, and with a thickness of between 4 and 8 mm, for example 6 mm.

[0019] The damping intermediate layer (7) is preferably made of EPDM type elastomer, with a thickness of, for example, between 8 and 15 mm, for example 10 mm.

[0020] The metal underside (8) is connected to the aluminum rolling surface (5), for example by bolted connections to enclose the intermediate layer (7) and form a soundproof box to reduce the transmission of acoustic vibrations.

[0021] This metallic underside (8) has a thickness of, for example, between 2 and 4 mm, and is preferably treated to resist corrosion.

[0022] The assembly (6) thus formed is itself fixed to the frame (2), for example by bolted connections on the crosspieces (4). Preferably, the bolted connections used to tighten the layers and form the soundproof box are also used to fix the assembly to the frame.

[0023] According to an exemplary embodiment and with reference to [Fig. 3], the crosspieces (4) are in the form of profiled sheet metal strips with longitudinal edges (4a) folded inwards and on the side opposite the rolling surface (5) to ensure optimum rigidity, and with end fins (4b) folded inwards to allow the bolted connection with the side members (3).

[0024] It is clear from the above that the evolution module (1) according to the invention makes it possible to reduce the noise pollution generated during the use of this module (1) by practitioners of urban sliding sports, while having a simple and robust design.
