Abstract

Simply use a chalk line to mark a line on the ground where you want to position the screed pull rule. All that remains is to drill the ground every two and a half meters along the line and fix the support brackets. Then place the triangular pull rule on the bases of the support brackets. Using a laser level, adjust the precise height by sliding the support brackets onto the support brackets, then lock them with the tightening nut. After installing two parallel lines of screed pull rule (one on each side) perfectly level with the ground, place the mortar between the two RTC (Rule Pull Chape). Using a mason's rule, pull the excess mortar, using the RTC as a support. Once the mortar screed is finished, the pull rule will be recovered. The entire tool, holding bracket and support bracket, will be dropped into the mortar screed. Figure for summary – figure 6

Title of the invention: Ruler Pull Screed (RTC)

[0001] The invention relates to a rule device designed to facilitate the work of tilers. The user will no longer need to make rules with mortar, thus eliminating the risk of deforming them when laying the screed.

[0002] Many years of experience are needed to know how to lay a screed using rules made with mortar. You must know how to pull the excess mortar while remaining at the same level as the rules. You must not lean on the latter because they are made with fresh mortar and remain very fragile.

1. The steel or polypropylene bracket, I call it "support bracket" the support bracket will have 2 equal sides of sixty millimeters long, a width of 20 millimeters and a thickness of 2 millimeters, in the interior angle there will be two reinforcing folds. The side which will serve as a base will be provided with a fixing hole of five millimeters in diameter (1) and the other side will be provided with an oblong hole (2) of fifty-five millimeters long and five millimeters wide. The fixing hole will be used as its name indicates to fix the bracket to the ground using a screw which can be screwed after drilling the ground using a perforator. The oblong hole which is located on the height of the bracket will be used to receive a threaded bolt fitted with a nut to fix and adjust to the desired height.

2. The second part is called a "support bracket" made of steel or polypropylene, it is also provided with an oblong hole (3) fifty-five millimeters long and five millimeters wide. On the upper part of the bracket its measurements are twenty millimeters wide and sixty millimeters long. The base of the support bracket will be V-shaped with an angle of sixty degrees. The V (4) will have the dimension of thirty millimeters on each side. The height of the support bracket will face the height of the holding bracket. The two oblong holes (2 - 4), will be opposite each other, which will allow the support bracket to slide and be locked at a chosen height. The tightening will be done using a threaded bolt and a tightening nut. The two parts joined and fixed together will form a block.

3. The third piece is the drawing rule. It is triangular with three equal sides of thirty millimeters and has a length of two and a half meters. It can be placed on the triangular base (4) of the support bracket.
