Abstract

A monitoring method is implemented in a land vehicle comprising first and second electric drive machines, each with a first and second rotor having a reliable first and second measured rotational speed, respectively, and capable of delivering first and second motor torques for first and second gear sets having current first and second total gear ratios. This method includes a step (10-70) in which a first absolute value of a function whose variables are the measured first and second rotational speeds and the current first and second total gear ratios is compared to a first threshold. If the first absolute value is greater than the first threshold, at least one selected action is performed in the vehicle. Figure 3

Claims

respectively of the first and second total reductions in progress, characterized in that it comprises at least one processor (PR1) and at least one memory (MD) arranged to perform the operations consisting of comparing to a first chosen threshold a first absolute value of a function having as variables the said first and second measured rotation regimes and the said first and second total reductions in progress, and, if the said first absolute value is greater than the said first threshold, to trigger the execution of at least one chosen action in the said vehicle (V).

10. Land vehicle (V) comprising first (MM1) and second (MM2) electric drive machines comprising respectively first and second rotors having respectively a first reliable measured rotation regime and a second rotation regime, and suitable for delivering respectively first and second motor torques respectively for first (T1) and second (T2) trains having respectively first and second total reduction ratios in progress, characterized in that it further comprises a monitoring device (DS) according to claim 9.
