Description

Title of the invention: Mounting arm for urine analysis device

[0001] The present invention relates to a urine analysis assembly comprising a urine analysis device. The urine analysis device comprises a housing configured to be placed entirely within a toilet bowl. The assembly further comprises a mounting arm for securing the urine analysis device to the toilet bowl. State of the art

[0002] Many biological parameters can be identified in an individual's urine. For example, health problems such as a urinary tract infection, diabetes, or kidney failure can be detected from a urine sample. A urine sample can also reflect the quality of a diet, identify a period of fertility or pregnancy, and detect drug or tobacco use. Therefore, it is worthwhile to periodically monitor various biological parameters.

[0003] It is known to offer toilet devices with a urine analysis function. These devices are capable of collecting urine samples from the toilet and analyzing them to determine the level of a biological parameter.

[0004] Such a urine analysis device is described in particular in document WO2021 / 175909. This document presents a device for urine analysis. The device is housed in the toilet and collects a urine sample before performing an optical analysis on a test support. The device comprises a station and a cartridge, also called a rotating support, which can be removed from and replaced on the station. The cartridge contains urine test strips, i.e., strips coated or impregnated with a reagent that reacts with urine.

[0005] In order to place such a urine analysis device in the toilet, several solutions have been proposed. Document WO2021 / 175909, for example, proposes a suction cup on the rear face of the device's housing for use with the toilet bowl wall (paragraph 106) or a hook mounted on the rim of the toilet bowl (paragraph 110). Document WO2023 / 036805 suggests magnets or an adhesive surface on the rear of the housing for use with the inner wall of the toilet bowl (paragraph 93). At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 2023, a urine analysis device with a hook was presented. The urine analysis device comprises a housing with a rear face oriented towards the wall of the toilet bowl. On the rear face, a tab is positioned; this tab cooperates with a an opening of an arm, which then hooks onto the rim of the bowl with a hook. Between the opening and the hook, the arm comprises two straight sections, with a slight change of direction between the two sections.

[0006] Document GB2546847 describes a urine test with a colorimetric detection portion (i.e., a material coated with a chemical reagent to detect compounds in urine) temporarily attached to the toilet bowl by a hook. The user places the urine test in the toilet just before urinating, urinates directly onto the detection portion, and then removes it from the toilet to visually compare the colorimetric detection portion with a reference.

[0007] These various solutions, however, encounter a problem due to the different shapes of toilet bowls that exist and which can differ significantly from country to country. For example, some toilet bowls have a shoulder close to the rim that can touch the hook arm and hinder the proper installation of the urine analysis device. However, when the urine analysis device is intended to remain in the toilet for several weeks at a time, it is essential that the attachment be optimized. Summary of the invention

[0008] The present description therefore proposes a urine analysis kit allowing for easy and compatible installation in different shapes of toilet bowls.

[0009] For this purpose, the present description relates to a urine analysis kit comprising: - a urine analysis device configured to be placed entirely inside a toilet bowl and comprising: • a case, the case comprising: * a front face designed to receive a stream of urine from a user urinating in the toilet bowl, and * a rear face opposite to the front face; • a fastening element located on the rear face of the case, - a mounting arm configured to position the urine analysis device entirely in the toilet bowl, the mounting arm comprising a proximal attachment portion configured to cooperate with the attachment element of the urine analysis device; wherein the proximal attachment portion forms a receiving space for the housing, wherein the receiving space extends from the rear face beyond an edge of the rear face.

[0010] Indeed, such a urine analysis assembly makes it possible to provide a urine analysis device offering a blank front face to receive a stream of urine and an attachment element disposed on the rear face, the attachment element thus being concealed and protected. The mounting arm allows the urine analysis device to be secured in toilet bowls by working with the attachment element. The shape of the mounting arm, which creates a receiving space for the housing from the attachment element to the top, allows the arm to conform to the shape of the housing, thus ensuring a stable and secure fit. Furthermore, this shape allows the portion of the mounting arm extending between the housing and the rim of the toilet bowl to be offset, thus preventing contact that could lead to incorrect positioning of the urine analysis device. The urine analysis unit therefore easily adapts to different toilet bowl shapes. Thus, unlike a straight arm which can come into contact with the side of the bowl and force the urine analysis device into an unsuitable position, the fixing arm as described here allows for proper positioning of the urine analysis device.

[0011] In one embodiment, the rear face is intended to face a wall of the bowl.

[0012] In one embodiment, the fixing arm is removable.

[0013] In one embodiment, the fixing arm is flexible.

[0021] In one embodiment, the attachment element is located in the upper part of the rear face, for example between 15% and 25% from the edge of the rear face.

[0022] In one embodiment, the attachment element is chosen from: a lug, a magnet, an adhesive part.

[0023] In one embodiment, when the attachment element is a lug / nipple, the first end portion includes a cavity (advantageously through) intended to receive the attachment element.

[0024] In one embodiment, the lug extends from the housing by way of a body and then a head of greater width than the body.

[0025] In one embodiment, the cavity has a first section with a maximum transverse width greater than the width of the head and a second section with a maximum transverse width less than the width of the head.

[0026] In one embodiment, the fixing arm further includes a distal attachment portion configured to cooperate with the toilet bowl.

[0027] In one embodiment, the distal attachment portion includes a hook / magnet / adhesive part.

[0028] In one embodiment, the fixing arm further includes an intermediate portion arranged between the proximal attachment portion and the distal attachment portion.

[0029] In one embodiment, the proximal attachment portion is connected to the intermediate portion at the level of the second end.

[0030] In one embodiment, the fixing arm has a change of direction between the intermediate portion and the proximal attachment portion.

[0032] In one embodiment, the stop is formed by the change of direction between the proximal attachment portion and the intermediate portion.

[0033] In one embodiment, the intermediate portion and the proximal attachment portion form an inflection zone between them.

[0034] In one embodiment, the intermediate portion and the proximal attachment portion form an edge between them.

[0035] In one embodiment, the intermediate portion extends in line with the housing in the median plane of the housing.

[0036] In one embodiment, the intermediate portion extends in line with the front face in the median plane of the housing.

[0037] In one embodiment, the upper portion comprises a rear surface facing the bowl and a front surface opposite the rear surface, the front surface of the intermediate portion extending in line with the front face of the housing.

[0038] In one embodiment, the intermediate portion has a rounded shape.

[0039] In one embodiment, the intermediate portion has a convex shape.

Detailed description

[0046] This description presents various examples of a urine analysis device comprising a station and a cartridge as disclosed in documents WO2021 / 175909 and WO2021 / 175944, hereinafter referred to as WO'909 and WO'944. Variants of the stations are presented in documents WO2023036805, WO2023036806, WO2023036808, WO2023036809, hereinafter referred to as WO'80X.

[0047] The following paragraphs explain the general principle of a urine analysis device, but all the details of documents WO'909 and WO'933 (as well as all the aforementioned PCT documents) are applicable. Orientation

[0048] In the following exposition, the notions of "top" and "bottom", "upper" and "lower", etc. are defined with respect to a direction Z, as defined in figures 5 and 6. The top along the direction Z is defined in a normal operating position of the urine analysis device fixed in the toilet bowl. General shape of the case

[0049] Figure 1 schematically illustrates an analysis device 100 (referred to as "device 100") for urine analysis installed in the toilet 102. The toilet 102 generally comprises a water tank 104, a bowl 106, a seat 108, and a seat cover 110. The analysis device 100 is configured to be placed entirely within the toilet bowl. "Within the bowl" means "placed within the internal volume defined by the bowl." The analysis device 100 is removably positioned within the toilet 102. For example, the analysis device 100 can be easily removed from the toilet to replace a cartridge and then replaced in the toilet 102. The analysis device 100 is placed on an internal wall 112 of the toilet bowl 106.The analysis device 100 is positioned so that it is generally under the stream of urine of a user, so that when a user urinates (usually in a seated position), the urine comes into contact with the analysis device 100. The analysis device 100 can communicate remotely with a remote entity, such as a smartphone 114 or a server 116.

[0050] As illustrated in more detail in [Fig. 2], the analysis device 100 may include a station 200 and a cartridge 202, removably mounted on the station 200. The station 200 may include a housing 204 which may have two shells, in particular a front shell 206 and a rear shell 208. The front shell 206 and The rear shell 208 can cooperate with each other via a fastening mechanism 216, in a plane normal to the X-axis. The front shell 206 and the rear shell 208 can be assembled reversibly, for example by screwing or clipping. Alternatively, the front shell 206 and the rear shell 208 can be permanently assembled, for example by bonding, clipping, magnetizing, or ultrasonic welding. Of course, other fastening methods can be used to assemble the two shells.

[0051] In particular, as illustrated in [Fig. 2], the front shell 206 and the rear shell 208 are screwed together. An internal portion of the front shell 206 includes a thread. The thread in the front shell 206 is designed to cooperate with a complementary thread in the rear shell 208. This allows for easy removal of the housing 204 to access the test assembly inside the housing.

[0052] A seal may be present between the front shell 206 and the rear shell 208. Thus, the housing 204 is watertight. Only the collection and drainage ports connect the exterior and interior of the housing 204, as described in more detail below.

[0053] As can be seen in the figures, the housing 204 can have an overall external shape of a circular pebble. In other words, the housing 204 has a spheroidal shape. The X-axis is the central line of the housing. Advantageously, the front shell 206 can be substantially rotationally symmetrical, giving the device an aerodynamic appearance once installed. The housing 204 serves as a urine collector.

[0054] The housing 204 comprises a front face 220 for receiving a stream of urine directly from a user urinating on the toilet and a rear face 222 opposite the front face 220. As illustrated in [Fig. 2], the front face 220 can be arranged on the front shell 206 and the rear face 222 can be arranged on the rear shell 208. The front face 220 is oriented towards the inside of the bowl 106. The front face 220 is therefore intended to receive the urine when the user urinates while sitting on the toilet 102. As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the rear face 222 faces the inner wall 112 of the bowl 106. For the purposes of this description, an object facing the wall of the bowl is understood to mean an object facing the wall of the bowl nearest to the object in question, and not the wall of the bowl opposite the other side of the internal volume of the bowl.

[0055] The front face 220 and the rear face 222 may each have a curved edge 210. The respective curved edges 210 of the front and rear faces meet at an equatorial junction zone. Thus, the outer surface of the housing 204, consisting of the front face 220 and the rear face 222, is defined by curved lines and forms a generally convex object.

[0056] With reference to Figures 5 and 6, the rear face 222 has an edge 550. The edge 550 is where the rear face ends and where either a transition face or the front face. The edge 550 typically passes near a highest point of the housing 204 along the Z-axis in a normal operating position of the housing 204 when placed in the toilet bowl 106. In the two-shell pebble embodiment, the edge 550 is at the junction between the front face 220 and the rear face 222. In an embodiment where the housing 204 is parallelepiped-shaped as illustrated in [Fig. 9], the edge 550 is located at the junction between the rear face 222 and an upper face 910, which connects the front face 220 and the rear face 222.

[0057] The outer surface of the front face 220 can be smooth. In other words, the front face 220 is free of ridges or grooves. Thus, the urine flow coming into contact with the front face 220 adheres to and spreads across the front face 220. The front face 220 can be substantially rotationally symmetrical about the X-axis.

[0058] The outer surface of the housing 204 can also be white or light-colored. The color of the outer surface can be similar to that of the toilet, which increases the discretion of the device.

[0059] The housing 204 can have a diameter, measured in the direction orthogonal to the X-axis, of between 50 mm and 150 mm. The housing 204 can have a thickness, measured in the direction of the X-axis, of between 15 mm and 50 mm. Thus, the housing 204 is compact enough to be entirely housed in the toilet bowl. The urine analysis device 100 is discreet. Furthermore, the housing 204 is large enough to consistently come into contact with the urine collected in the bowl. The user can then urinate in the toilet without worrying about the urine analysis device, or alternatively, simply aim.

[0060] According to another aspect, in one embodiment, the housing 204 has a general form factor such that the ratio between the thickness and the diameter is between 0.2 and 0.5, and even preferably between 0.3 and 0.4. Such proportions are reminiscent of a natural pebble and give the device a soothing appearance.

[0061] Preferably, the housing 204 is made of a hydrophilic material. For example, the material of the housing 204 may be: a ceramic, a polyamide (PA), a silicone, or a hydrophilic polymer. The outer surface of the housing 204 may also be treated with a hydrophilic surface treatment, for example, Aculon's acuWet®, a hydrophilic polymer, or Arkema's Pebax®. Test set

[0062] A test unit 230 is disposed inside the housing 204 and configured to perform an analysis on urine collected through the collection port. The station 200 includes an annular compartment 212, located inside the housing 204, arranged around an axis of rotation X. The annular compartment 212 is configured to receive at least partially the cartridge 202, which is rotatably mounted around the axis of rotation X (once in position within the annular compartment 212). The Cartridge 202 comprises a plurality of test supports, each containing at least one urinary reagent, for example, a dry reagent. The plurality of test supports are arranged along a circle or an arc of a circle around the X axis of rotation. In one embodiment, the test supports are test strips. The test supports may be enclosed, for example, individually, within a chamber.

[0063] The annular compartment 212 typically extends over 360° and forms a groove configured to receive at least partially the cartridge 202.

[0064] The station 200 includes a collection port 218, located for example on the rear shell 208. As will be explained in more detail below, the collection port 218 is configured to collect urine flowing onto the surface of the housing 204. The station 200 also includes a drainage port 530, visible in [Fig. 5], configured to drain the liquid out of the device 100.

[0065] The test assembly 230 may include a pump, an injector, and an analyzer. The pump draws urine from the collection port 218, then the injector injects the urine onto one or more test media from the cartridge, and the analyzer obtains certain property values (e.g., physical / chemical properties, such as color) of the test media after they have come into contact with the urine. In one instance, the analyzer is an optical analyzer configured to analyze the optical properties of the test media. The injector and the cartridge may move relative to each other so that the injector can open (e.g., pierce) the chamber, for example, using a needle or a needle-like device.

[0066] Figure 3 shows an exploded view of the cartridge 202. The cartridge 202 includes at least one test holder 301, in particular several test holders 301 configured to receive urine from the injector. Each test holder 301 contains a urine reagent that reacts specifically upon contact with urine. The cartridge 202 includes a rotating support 300, configured to be driven in rotation by the station 200. During normal use of the cartridge 202 and the device 100, the test holders 301 remain fixed to the rotating support and do not move relative to it.

[0067] In one embodiment, the rotating support 300 has a right circular cylinder shape that is at least 80% of a hollow cylinder shape extending annularly around an axis which, when the cartridge 202 is mounted in the station 200, is the axis of rotation X. Each test support 301 can be a test strip. The rotating support 300 can comprise an annular portion 302 and a cylindrical portion 304, which extends from an outer radial end of the annular portion 302. The cylindrical portion 304, when in use, is housed inside the annular compartment 212. The test supports 301 are positioned along the cylindrical portion 304, so that to be able to pass selectively and / or successively in front of the injector and the analyzer. For example, the test supports 301 are part of a support 308, which comprises several chambers 310, separated from each other along a perimeter around the X-axis. At least one test strip is received in a chamber 310.

[0068] The chambers 310 are arranged side by side in the form of a right circular cylinder with a circumference of at least 80% of the circle. To allow light to pass through, the support 308 includes at least one opening 312 per chamber 310 (shown in the upper left zoom where the rotating support is shown as transparent). The chambers 310 are all equidistant from the axis of rotation X, so that the injector can selectively inject urine once the desired chamber is positioned at the desired location facing the injector. The injector can move toward the chamber 310 and pierce a cover closing the chamber 310 (visible in [Fig. 4]). A drain port 314 is provided in the rotating support 300 to allow urine to be evacuated from the injector to the outside of the device 100, via the drainage port 530 located on the housing 204.

[0069] The annular part 302 of the rotating support 300 remains outside the annular compartment 212 to reinforce the cylindrical part and / or drive the cartridge 202 in rotation. For this purpose, the annular part 302 may include a mechanical coupling 306, which cooperates with a shaft of the station 200.

[0070] The dimensions of the cartridge 202 are disclosed in documents WO'909, WO'933 and WO'80X. The maximum dimension of the device 100 transverse to the axis of rotation X is less than 15 cm, or even less than 10 cm. The maximum dimension of the device along the axis of rotation X is less than 5 cm.

[0071] Figure 4 shows in more detail the interaction between the cartridge 202 and the station 200 during or after the activation of the injector. The analyzer 400 comprises at least one light source 402, 404 (for example, two light sources) and at least one optical sensor 406. The light travels from the light source 402, 404 to the optical sensor 406 through the cartridge 202 and in particular the cylindrical portion 304, the opening 312 of the support 308, the test support 301, and thus the reagent 408.

[0072] In one embodiment, the analyzer 400 is configured to measure the absorbance of a portion of the test media 301.

[0073] Absorbance is detected by the light source (for example an LED) which can pass light through the band, and the optical sensor which receives the spectrum with about ten wavelengths.

[0074] In one variant, the light sensor is a camera capable of detecting a color change, in particular a color intensity change, of a portion of the test media 301.

[0075] The camera can detect a color in RGB values for example.

[0076] The injector includes an injection tip 412 (for example, a needle), which can be moved between several positions, represented by dashed lines in [Fig. 4]. In a standby position SP, the injection tip 412 is outside the cartridge 202 (in its innermost position), so that the cartridge 202 can rotate freely in the annular compartment 212; in an injection position IP, the injection tip 412 has pierced the cover 410 to access the inside of the chamber 310 and can inject a small amount of urine onto the test support 301; in the discharge position DP, the injection tip 412 is able to discharge the urine through the discharge port 314 of the rotating support 300.

[0077] In the SP position, the injector is located radially inside the annular chamber. This maximizes the radius of the annular compartment while minimizing the size of the station 200.

[0078] In a variant of the test set 230 disclosed above, the person skilled in the art will understand that each test set configured to analyze the urine sample collected through the collection port 218 can be disposed of inside the housing 204. Collection port

[0079] The collection orifice 218 is configured to receive the urine which flows by gravity onto the outer surface of the housing 204. The urine is collected directly on the front face 220 and the rear face 222 of the housing 204.

[0080] The collection orifice 218 is an opening configured to collect the liquid, allowing the liquid to enter the urine analysis device. The collection orifice 218 is generally circular, with a diameter preferably between 0.3 mm and 2 mm. The diameter of the collection orifice can be chosen to maximize the volume of urine collected on the outer surface of the housing 204.

[0081] As can be seen in the figures, the collection port 218 is located on the rear face 222. Thus, the collection port 218 faces the inner wall 112 of the toilet when the urine analysis device 100 is positioned in the toilet. This position allows the collection port 218 to be hidden from the user's view by the front face 220 of the housing. The front face 220 visible to the user resembles a simple, uniform pebble, as already mentioned, without any singular points or holes. It should also be noted that this position prevents the introduction of contaminants or elements that could obstruct the test assembly 230.

[0082] The collection orifice 218 is located on a lower portion of the rear face 222. By "on a lower portion of the rear face," we mean "on the last quarter of the face along the Z direction from the lower end of the housing 204." The lower end faces the bottom of the basin 106 when the housing 204 is positioned in the basin. The lower end is located opposite the apex 550. This position corresponds to a normal operating position. This position allows urine to be collected by gravity over most of the outer surface of the housing 204.

[0083] In particular, the distance separating the collection orifice 218 from a lower edge of the housing 204 is less than 40 mm, preferably less than 20 mm. As illustrated, according to a particular embodiment, the collection orifice 218 is located a few millimeters above the lower edge of the housing 204. Alternatively, the collection orifice 218 may be located on the lower edge (the lower edge being defined when the device 100 is positioned for use in the toilet).

[0084] The collection port 218 can be covered by a mesh filter. The mesh filter is, for example, oblong in shape and covers the collection port 218. The average mesh size of the filter is, for example, 20 microns. The mesh filter prevents the introduction of contaminants or elements that could clog the test assembly 230 and filters the urine received in the collection port 218. The filter mesh can be made of metal. Spreader

[0085] With reference to Figures 5 and 6 in particular, in one embodiment, the device 100 may include at least one spacer 520 projecting from the rear face 222 and configured to be in contact with the bowl 106, in particular in contact with the inner wall 112 of the bowl 106. The spacer 520 is arranged on the rear face 222. In one embodiment, the spacer 520 is arranged on the rear face 222 so that the collection orifice 218 is at a certain distance from the bowl 106 during normal use of the device. This prevents the inner wall 112 of the bowl 106 from obstructing the inlet of the collection port 128 and / or from creating a bottleneck for the flow of a mixture of urine, water and impurities from the bowl (which could be collected by the collection port in other circumstances).

[0086] Thanks to at least one spreader 520, the urine flows over the housing 502 (in particular over the rear face 222) towards the collection orifice 218 without being hindered by the bowl 106 as could occur with a device such as described in documents WO'909 and WO'944.

[0087] In one embodiment, the spacers 520 are located on the lower part of the urine analysis device 100, and more particularly on the lower part of the rear face 222, next to the collection port 218.

[0088] The spreader 520 typically includes an edge. During use, part of the edge is in contact with the toilet bowl.

[0089] In particular, the device 100 may include two spacers 520, advantageously arranged on each side of the collection orifice 218, along the transverse direction Y. The two spacers 520 may be arranged on each side of the collection orifice 218, along the collection orifice 218. The two spacers 520 can be symmetrical for example along a vertical plane XZ, in a normal operating position of the device 100 or for example around the collection orifice 218.

[0090] The spacer 520 has been described in detail in patent application EP23192265. FIXING

[0091] The housing 204 is intended to be placed on the inner wall 112 of the toilet bowl 106. The housing 204 is positioned and held in position within the bowl by a mounting arm 600. The mounting arm 500 is configured to secure the urine analysis device 100 in the toilet bowl 106. The mounting arm 600 comprises several sections that have different functions and will be described in detail later. However, the mounting arm 600 is typically made of a single material, for example, plastic, by molding.

[0092] The analysis device 100 includes an attachment element 510 located on the rear face 222 of the housing. The attachment element 510 is configured to cooperate with the mounting arm 600. With an attachment element 510 on the rear face 222, the front face 220 can remain undisturbed, thus preventing the urine stream from being accidentally reflected back towards the toilet bowl opening. Indeed, the distance between the urethra and the urine analysis device, as well as the pressure of the urine stream, means that any roughness on the front face 220 that receives the stream can cause splashing.

[0093] The attachment element 510 is for example disposed at the level of a median plane XZ of the housing 204. In other words, the attachment element 510 is disposed at the level of a vertical plane of symmetry of the housing 204.

[0094] As can be seen in the figures, the attachment element 510 can be positioned on the upper part of the housing 204. By "on the upper part of the housing," we mean "in the first quarter along the Z direction from the top of the housing 204." In particular, the attachment element 510 is positioned between 15% and 25% of the rear face 222 from the top 550 of the housing 204.

[0095] As seen in [Fig. 8], the attachment element 510 can be a lug. The lug protrudes from the rear face 222 of the housing 204. According to one embodiment, the lug extends from the rear face 222 by means of a body 810 and then by means of a head 820 with a transverse extent greater than the body 810.

[0096] In an alternative not shown, the attachment element 510 is a magnet suitable for cooperating with another magnet placed on the attachment arm 500.

[0097] In an alternative not shown, the attachment element 510 includes an adhesive part suitable for cooperating with the fixing arm 500. Mounting arm

[0098] According to one embodiment, the fixation arm 600 is removable from the urine analysis device. In other words, the user can separate the fixation arm 600 from the attachment element 510. The fixation arm 600 can thus be easily replaced, and a different type of fixation arm can, for example, be used.

[0099] The mounting arm 600 can be flexible. In other words, the mounting arm 600 can be deformed by the user or by the gravity of the device 100 placed in the toilet. This allows for better adaptation of the mounting arm to different toilet shapes and ensures that the housing 204 touches the inner wall 112 of the toilet. In particular, the mounting arm 600 is made of a plastic material, for example nylon, or a metallic material, for example steel.

[0100] As can be seen in [Fig. 7], the mounting arm 600 may have a flattened shape in a cross-section transverse to the median plane XZ. This allows flexibility of the mounting arm 600 in the median plane XZ while limiting flexibility along the transverse direction Y.

[0101] The 600 mounting arm can extend to a height along the Z-axis of between 5 cm and 15 cm. The 600 mounting arm has, for example, a width along the Y-axis of between 1 cm and 2 cm. The 600 mounting arm has, for example, a thickness of between 1 mm and 2 mm. Proximal attachment portion

[0102] With reference to Figures 6 and 7, the fixation arm 600 includes a proximal attachment portion 710 configured to cooperate with the attachment element 510 of the urine analysis device 100. Hereafter, the terms "proximal" and "distal" are defined according to proximity to the analysis device 100.

[0103] When the attachment element 510 is a lug, the proximal attachment portion 710 includes a cavity 740 for receiving the attachment element 510. The cavity 740 may be through-hole.

[0104] With reference to [Fig. 8], the cavity 740 may have a first section 830 with a maximum transverse width greater than the width of the lug head 820 and a second section 840 with a maximum transverse width less than the width of the lug head 820. The second section 840 also has a transverse width greater than the lug body 810. Thus, when the user wants to assemble the fixing arm 600 with the device 100, he / she inserts the lug into the first section 830 and then slides the lug into the second section 830. Since the head 820 of the lug is wider than the second section 830, the fixing arm 600 is held securely to the device 100. Conversely, when the user wants to detach the fixing arm 600 from the device 100, he / she slides the lug from the second section 840 towards the first section 830 to allow the head 820 of the lug to pass through the cavity 740.

[0105] The proximal attachment portion 710 comprises a first end 560 at the attachment element 510 and a second end 570 which is beyond the edge 550 of the rear face 222 (when the fixing arm 600 is associated with the housing 204). In one embodiment, the second end 570 is located at the front face 220 of the housing 204. As illustrated in the figures, the proximal attachment portion 710 extends essentially between these two ends 560, 570. Reception area

[0106] As can be seen in Figures 5 to 9, the proximal attachment portion 710 forms a receiving space 750 for the housing 204. When the attachment arm 600 cooperates with the housing 204, the receiving space 750 extends from the attachment element 510 to at least one edge 550 of the rear face 222 of the housing 204. The receiving space 750 thus extends from the rear face 222 to at least the edge 550. In one embodiment, the receiving space 750 extends to the front face 220 of the housing 204, as illustrated in [Fig. 6]. The receiving space 750 is thus delimited by the first end 560 and the second end 570.

[0107] The receiving space 750 is configured to receive at least partially the housing 204, including in particular the upper part of the rear face 222, up to the edge 550. In one embodiment, the receiving space 750 is of complementary shape to the housing, in particular to the upper part of the rear face 222 of the housing 204, with for example a functional gap when the device 100 is installed in the toilet bowl 106.

[0108] In one embodiment, as illustrated in Figures 5 to 8, the receiving space 750 is rounded, in particular complementary in shape to the pebble shape of the housing 204. Alternatively, as illustrated in [Fig.9], the receiving space 750 has an angular shape, in particular complementary in shape to the parallelepiped shape of the housing 204.

[0109] In one embodiment, the proximal attachment portion 710, and more particularly the second end 570, includes a stop 610. The stop 610 defines an end of the receiving space 750 opposite to the end of the receiving space cooperating with the attachment element 510. The stop 610 is configured to block a movement of the urine analysis device 100 permitted by the attachment arm 600. This blocking is achieved in particular by contact with the front face or the transition face. Distal attachment portion

[0110] The fixing arm 600 further includes a distal attachment portion 720. The distal attachment portion 720 is opposite the proximal attachment portion 710. As visible in [Fig.6], the distal attachment portion 720 is configured to cooperate with the toilet bowl 106.

[0111] In an embodiment illustrated in the figures, the distal attachment portion 720 includes a hook. In particular, the distal attachment portion 720 is movable from a resting configuration, as illustrated in Figures 5 and 7, in which the distal attachment portion 720 is folded back on itself, to an extended configuration, as illustrated in [Fig. 6], in which the distal attachment portion 720 is extended. In the extended configuration, the distal attachment portion 720 is configured to hook onto the rim 540 of the toilet bowl 106. The distal attachment portion 720 comprises three successive elongated parts 620, 630, 640. As can be seen in [Fig. 7], in the resting configuration, the third part 640 is folded between the first part 620 and the second part 630. The three parts 620, 630, 640 are then substantially parallel to each other. As can be seen in [Fig.[6], in the deployed position, the second part 630 and the third part 640 are apart from the first part 620, each pair of successive parts forming substantially a right angle with each other.

[0112] The third part 640 may include an anti-slip block 650, for example made of rubber, allowing better adhesion of the fixing arm 600 with the cup 106.

[0113] In an alternative not shown, the fixing arm 600 includes a magnet suitable for cooperating with another magnet placed in particular on the attachment element 510.

[0114] In an alternative not shown, the fixing arm 600 includes an adhesive part suitable for cooperating with the fastening element 510. Intermediate portion

[0115] The fixing arm 600 further includes an intermediate portion 730 arranged between the proximal attachment portion 710 and the distal attachment portion 720.

[0116] The proximal attachment portion 710 is connected to the intermediate portion 730 at the level of the second end 570. In this configuration, the fixing arm 600 does not have a branching section, but only one following the others.

[0117] The intermediate portion 730 and the proximal attachment portion 710 form a zone of inflection between them. In other words, the fixing arm 600 has a change of direction between the intermediate portion 730 and the proximal attachment portion 710. Specifically, the intermediate portion 730 and the proximal attachment portion 710 form an edge between them. The stop 610 is formed by this change of direction. In particular, with reference to [Fig. 7], the intermediate portion 730 and the proximal attachment portion 710 form an angle α of less than 90°, and in particular less than 60°, at their point of contact.

[0118] The intermediate portion 730 extends in line with the housing 204 in the median plane XZ of the housing 204. In particular, the intermediate portion 730 comprises a rear surface 660 facing the inner wall 112 of the basin 106 and a front surface 670 opposite the rear surface 660. The front surface 670 extends in line with the front face 220 of the housing, notably to facilitate the passage of urine over the housing. In other words, the plane tangent to the housing at the stop 610 is substantially parallel to the plane tangent to the front surface 670 of the intermediate portion 730 at the stop 610.

[0119] As can be seen in the figures, the intermediate portion 730 may have a rounded shape. In particular, the intermediate portion 730 may have a convex shape, that is to say, curved towards the bowl. The convex shape of the intermediate portion 730 tends to move the device 100 away from the bowl 106, as can be seen in [Fig. 6].
