Improved Salt Crystal Production Unit. The present invention relates to a unit for producing salt crystals and fresh water from an initial aqueous solution containing an initial salt concentration. The unit comprises a desalination device adapted to receive said initial aqueous solution at one inlet and to discharge separately, at first and second outlets, an aqueous solution containing a salt concentration higher than the initial concentration, and an aqueous solution containing a salt concentration lower than the initial concentration.
