Abstract

A traction battery for an electric or hybrid motor vehicle, comprising a closed container including a cover (12) having a contour assembled onto a frame of this container (6) with a sealing gasket (20) compressed between the two, and comprising an adhesive tape (40) deposited on the contour of this cover (12), having an adhesive (42) which is bonded across its width to both the frame (6) and the cover (12), forming a complementary seal between them. 1. Electric or hybrid motor vehicle traction battery, comprising a closed container including a cover (12) having a contour assembled on a frame of this container (6) with a sealing gasket (20) compressed between the two, characterized in that it comprises an adhesive tape (40) deposited on the contour of the cover (12), having an adhesive (42) which is glued across its width both on the frame (6) and on the cover (12) forming between them a complementary seal.

2. Traction battery according to claim 1, characterized in that in its width the adhesive tape (40) covers half the cover (12) and half the frame (6).

3. Traction battery according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that on the contour of the cover (12) the end of the adhesive tape (40) is superimposed on its start.

4. A traction battery according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that when the tape (40) is pulled, its adhesive has a stretch distance without breaking (D) which is greater than 5mm.

5. Traction battery according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tray comprises a base (2) having an adhesive tape (40) which is deposited on its contour covering in its width both the frame of the tray (6).

6. Traction battery according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises energy storage cells (22) immersed in a coolant contained in the tank.

Method of preparing a traction battery according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a step of tightening the fixing screws (10) of the cover (12) on the frame of this container (6), and then a step of applying the adhesive tape (40) which is continuous over the complete contour of this cover (12).

8. Electric or hybrid motor vehicle equipped with a traction battery according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that this battery is fixed flat under a floor of the body. 1 / 2
