Abstract

A method of achieving a state of relaxation and restoration of human emotional and physical harmony. The method includes rocking in a Lullabed (RTM) bed with muffled light and a synchronised musical accompaniment. The musical accompaniment, which can be a lullaby, lullaby melodies, or a lullaby recitative played at a volume of 15-40 dB, can be synchronised to the rocking process by a common control system. The bed can be deflected by 10-30º from a vertical axis; and the illumination coefficient of the muffled light can be 0.3-5 lumens per square metre within a 1.5m radius from the bed. A treatment session can include 5-50 minutes of rocking, and there can be 1-7 sessions in a series.

Description

DESCRIPTION Currently known methods and devices, including rocking bed designs, are aimed at improving sleep and relaxation in children and adults, but they cannot be used for the prevention and rehabilitation of psycho-emotional balance disorders in humans, nor for the recovery and restoration of the emotional and physical harmonious state of the human body. Methods and designs of rocking beds for lulling children or speeding adults to sleep in case of insomnia are known, including elements of music, lighting and an automatically set rhythm of rocking the cradle. However, the rocking rhythm of the cradle and the rhythm of the musical accompaniment are not synchronized or personalized. Also known are rocking bed designs based on mechanisms to improve the user's sleep by means of monotonous rhythmic sound, which has a hypnotic effect. Some devices diagnose the user's condition during a sleep or relaxation session. All of these devices are of a contact nature and their descriptions do not suggest any correlation between their performance and the volume of the music, the level of light and the rhythm of the music and rocking of the bed, if such features are present during sessions. Thus, the existing methods and devices are aimed only at falling asleep and relaxation, and do not solve the problem how achieve the state of relaxation and restoration of human emotional and physical harmony, they do not include a mechanism of synchronized influence of such factors as lighting, the rhythm of rocking the bed and the rhythm of music. The purpose of the claimed invention is to improve health and achieve the state of relaxation and restoration of human emotional and physical harmony. To achieve the set aim, the rocking process is carried out in the Lullabed® bed (https: / / wwwl.epa.ee / mudel / kirjeldus / 01525.pdf, name of invention Cradle-bed, No EE 01525 UI, A47D 9 / 02) under muffled light with simultaneous musical accompaniment, the rocking rhythm of the Lullabed® bed and the rhythm of the musical accompaniment being synchronized by means of a common control centre. The musical accompaniment is accompanied by lullaby, lullaby melodies, lullaby recitative, with the volume of the musical accompaniment ranging from 15 dB to 40 dB and the deflection angle of the Lullabed® cot from 10 to 30 degrees from the vertical axis. During a wellness and re-balancing session, the illumination coefficient is 0.3 to 5 lumens per square metre in a 1.5 metre radius of the Lullabed® bassinet bed. The duration of the rocking process during one session ranges from 5 minutes to 50 minutes. The series of sessions required to achieve the state of relaxation and restoration of human emotional and physical harmony range from one session to seven sessions. Method of achieve the state of relaxation and restoration of human emotional and physical harmony is applied on the basis of the data of the preliminary complex diagnostics of the state of the human organism. Before the start of each session, the specialist assistant identifies the parameters that characterise disturbances in the psychological and emotional state of the user's organism with the help of comprehensive diagnostics. For this purpose the expert-assistant invites the user to take a battery of psychological tests and fill in questionnaires, as well as determine his pulse, weight and breathing rate with the help of external observation and measurement devices. Disturbances in parameters such as concentration, anxiety, rapid or slow breathing, pulse rate show the impact to be made on the user's body during the session. The parameters for this effect are the selected rocking rhythm, which depends on the deflection angle of the Lullabed® cradle bed, and the rhythm of the music synchronised with it. Based on the data obtained during the initial comprehensive diagnosis and uploaded into a specially designed database that describes all possible combinations of the above disorders in different combinations, the healthcare assistant determines the light level factor, the required rocking rhythm, which depends on the chosen deflection angle of the Lullabed® cot, and the rhythm of the musical accompaniment synchronised with the rocking rhythm, and identifies the sequence of the session. This session sequence is a session map, individualised for each user and provides an indication of the possible level of change in synchronised parameters, such as the rocking rhythm of the Lullabed® bassinet bed, which depends on the selected deflection angle and the rhythm of the musical accompaniment, during the session, should the user's body condition change. For the actual session, a specialist assistant accompanies the user to the Lullabed® cradle bed, helps him or her lie down on it, gives instructions and explains the sequence of the session. The specialist assistant adjusts the muffled light level at 0.3 to 5 lumens per square metre within 1.5 metres of the Lullabed® cradle bed. A specialist assistant then sets the synchronised effect of the rocking rhythm on the user's body to the rhythm of the musical accompaniment. A unified control system is provided for this, whereby the professional assistant, using the console, starts the musical accompaniment at the rhythm defined in the session map, setting the selected volume from 15 dB to 40 dB and at the same time sets the rocking amplitude of the Lullabed® bassinet, which is calculated on the basis of the presession diagnosis, within a 10 to 30 degree vertical angle of deflection . The session is monitored by external observation devices. If the external monitors register any change in the user's condition, according to the session map, the healthcare professional will change the vertical deflection angle from 10 to 30 degrees and set a new rocking rhythm for the Lullabed® bassinet, synchronising the rhythm of the musical accompaniment and changing the volume of the musical accompaniment from 15 dB to 40 dB. The number of times that the Lullabed® bassinet bed and the accompaniment sound rhythm are synchronised increases the duration of the session from 5 minutes to 50 minutes. The user gets up from the Lullabed® bassinet bed and proceeds to a final holistic diagnosis of their body condition. A final comprehensive diagnosis of the user's condition at the end of the session shows the effectiveness of the interventions and the changes in the user's condition. These changes are expressed in the achievement of a safety and balance model, which is activated through the psychology of perceiving the sound musical accompaniment, namely lullaby singing, lullaby melodies, lullaby recitatives, and the rocking of the Lullabed® bassinet bed in a synchronised rhythm. Based on the data received after the first session, the specialist assistant processes the results of the final diagnosis and uses the database to determine the need and number of additional sessions in the series, if necessary forming a series of sessions from 1 session up to 7 sessions. The claimed method of achieve the state of relaxation and restoration of human emotional and physical harmony was tested from March 2019 to May 2023 on a sample of 4,278 people aged 3 to 84. A total of 16,428 sessions were conducted for them. Before the start of each session, a preliminary comprehensive diagnosis identified the parameters of the disturbed psychological and emotional balance of a particular person's body and determined what impact should be made to restore and revitalise their body. According to the results of the final diagnostics of the user's organism condition, the claimed method produced a positive effect at the end of a series of sessions and the result was achieved: with a series of 1 session for 514 people; using a series of 3 sessions for 1,796 people; through a series of five sessions for 1,625 people; through a series of seven sessions for 343 people. Thus, as the results of the study show, in accordance with the claimed method, a series of sessions from 1 to 7 sessions and the duration of the session from 5 minutes to 50 minutes were enough to achieve the state of relaxation and restoration of human emotional and physical harmony.
