Abstract
A method for producing an iron-clad graphite composition, which involves plating graphite powder with iron, wherein the plating is carried out chemically, by the action of NaOH on a mixture of FeCl2 aqueous solution and graphite powder at 35-500C, by heating the resulting iron (II) hydroxide-clad graphite at 170-1800C to convert it into iron (II) oxide and then hydrogenating it at 180-2500C to obtain free iron-clad graphite.
