Abstract
This invention relates to a methane, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide gas warning device based on a safe concentration alarm for monitoring air quality in risky environments. The device comprises a multi-gas sensor for detecting gas concentrations in ambient air, a processing unit for converting sensor signals into concentration values in standardized units, and a calculation module for determining the safe concentration value (C_safe) based on inhalation exposure parameters. The measured gas concentration value is compared with the safe concentration value to determine environmental conditions. If the gas concentration exceeds the safe concentration value, the device automatically activates an alarm in the form of an audible and / or visual signal. The device is also equipped with a display to show the gas concentration value in real time. With a safe concentration-based approach, this invention provides a warning system that is more adaptive and relevant to health risks compared to conventional devices that use fixed thresholds.
