Abstract

This product is an ultrasound catheter having three lumens: an RX (Rapid Exchange) lumen, an OTW (Over-the-Wire) lumen, and an ultrasound element lumen. By acquiring image information from an ultrasound element located in the ultrasound element lumen and receiving it via a cable connected to the ultrasound element, the operator can observe the condition inside the blood vessel. The RX lumen of this product has its proximal exit located midway along the longitudinal axis of the catheter, while the OTW lumen has its proximal exit located at the end along the longitudinal axis of the catheter.
