Abstract

The article relating to this design is a lid sealing machine for sealing lids onto containers, and is used in various stores such as convenience stores. This lid sealing machine is equipped with a container holding member for holding containers. This container holding member is formed in the shape of an arm and is configured to open and close, as shown in Reference Perspective Diagram 1, which shows the state of use, with the arm open, and as shown in Reference Perspective Diagram 3, which shows the state of use, with the arm closed. To hold a container with the container holding member, the container is inserted from the front of the container holding member with the arm open, causing the arm to close and hold the container. Then, as shown in Reference Perspective Diagram 2, which shows the state of use, the container holding member moves inside the housing and seals the lid to the container with a heater provided inside the housing. The lid used at this time is stored in advance in a lid storage section and is transported by a transport mechanism inside the housing. After the lid is sealed to the container, as shown in Reference Perspective Diagram 3, which shows the state of use, the container holding section is pulled out of the housing, and the arm of the container holding section opens further, allowing the container to be removed.
