Abstract
This article is a biological tissue sampling instrument attached to a mammography machine equipped with an X-ray irradiation unit and an examination table. The biological tissue sampling instrument has a needle holder that holds a needle for puncturing the breast and collecting biological tissue inside the breast. As shown in [Reference Diagram Showing the Installation State of This Article], the needle in the needle holder of this article is fixed in a horizontal position where the axial direction of the needle is parallel to the top surface of the examination table. As shown in [Perspective View 2], the slide holding part holds the needle holder and can slide it with respect to the slide axis. By this sliding, the needle can be punctured into the breast placed on the examination table from the lateral direction. Also, as shown in [Perspective View 2] and [Perspective View 3], the needle holder can be attached by rotating it in the horizontal plane with respect to the needle holder attachment part. Thereby, the direction of the needle can be changed. Further, the biological tissue sampling instrument has a slider base attached and fixed to the mammography machine. As shown in [Perspective View 3] and [Perspective View 4], the arm, the slide axis, and the slide holding part can be attached by rotating 180° with respect to the slider base. The needle holder attachment part can be replaced on the lower side of the slide holding part rotated 180°. Thereby, the left-right position of this article with respect to the examination table can be changed. In addition, in order to grasp the position of the needle, graduations may be provided on the scale part integrally formed with the slide axis. As shown in [Reference Perspective View Showing the Slide Axis and the Slide Holding Part], a guideline for grasping the position of the slide holding part with respect to the scale part is provided on the slide holding part.
