Abstract

The present design is an operation image for controlling the movement of an autonomous mobile robot and for making various settings related to the autonomous mobile robot. In the "route editing area", the user can input each movement of the autonomous mobile robot in chronological order to set the route of the autonomous mobile robot. Then, in the "route display / selection / setting area", the user can set and manage how the route is played back (e.g., the order of playing multiple routes, repeated playback of routes, etc.). The user manages this information as a "project file". In addition, the "display unit of the autonomous mobile robot's status" displays the status of the autonomous mobile robot. For example, in the case of the action "000 to 003" in "Reference Figure 2 showing an example of a usage state", the autonomous mobile robot starts autonomous movement at "000 Start", then detects a signpost with a size of "M" and an identification number of "9" as shown in "001 Signpost", and moves so as to satisfy the conditions set in other parameters. After that, in "002 Forward", the autonomous mobile robot "forwards" "2" meters. Then, like "003 rotate", the autonomous mobile robot rotates "180" degrees "right". Note that a sign post is a structure having a sign that can be read by an autonomous mobile robot.
