Abstract

The present article is a transmission path that uses light for communication, and as shown in the reference perspective view showing the names of each part, has a core that serves as an optical path and a cladding that surrounds the core. The multiple cores represented by dotted lines are arranged side by side in the width direction within the cladding, and have a deformation region that changes the pitch between adjacent cores between one end side and the other end side in the light propagation direction, and the number and shape of the cores are appropriately changed depending on the application.
