Abstract

This article is a support receiver that is attached to the mounting holes of a base material such as furniture and supports a supported object. For example, as shown in "Reference Drawing 1 Showing the Use State", it can be used as a socket that supports an angle adjustment fitting used for a headrest of a sofa or the like. This article is composed of an annular flange portion and a cylindrical body, and can be divided into a main body portion integral with the annular flange portion and a separable divided portion. The main body portion and the divided portion are integrated by fitting a semi-circular rib into the inner edge of the annular flange portion and engaging a locking projection with the bridging portion. By providing two parallel linear slits in the cylindrical body, elastic pieces are formed, and locking claw portions are provided protruding in the middle of the inner peripheral surface thereof. When using this article, as shown in "Reference Drawing 1 Showing the Use State", this article is driven into the mounting holes provided in the base material from above with a hammer or the like and buried. Next, when the support shaft of the supported object is inserted into the cylindrical body of this article, the elastic pieces are pushed outward. Further, by pushing in the support shaft, as shown in "Reference Drawing 2 Showing the Use State", the locking claw portion of this article engages with the annular groove portion provided on the outer peripheral surface of the support shaft, so that the support shaft is prevented from coming off and the supported object is supported.
