Drain basket

Abstract

This article is a draining basket for tableware used around the sink in the kitchen. This article includes a main body and a dish rack component that can be attached to this main body. The main body includes first and second stands in which a plurality of draining wires are juxtaposed at equal pitches between outer frames. The second stand is slidable in the front-rear direction in a front view with respect to the first stand. The dish rack component is formed by connecting two U-shaped wires with a bottom wire and a corrugated wire for dish rack. The dish rack component can be attached to any of the draining wires of the first and second stands. Specifically, as shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2 showing the use state, the dish rack component is fixed on the main body by engaging the draining wire of the main body in the recess formed between the bottom wire, the corrugated wire for dish rack, and the U-shaped wire. Since both ends of the U-shaped wire are elastic open ends, it is easy to attach and detach the dish rack component to and from the main body. Also, as shown in Reference Figure 5 showing the use state, the article can be stored by laying it horizontally with the main body shrunk and hooking the dish rack component on its outer frame.
