Gas sensor

Abstract

The article related to the design is a gas sensor that detects the concentration of a gas to be detected based on a change in resistance value. As shown in the usage state reference diagram representing the usage state, the gas sensor includes a base substrate having a substantially rectangular through-hole formed in the center, a sensor substrate disposed in the through-hole on which a gas detection element is mounted, a heater that heats the gas detection element via the sensor substrate, a plurality of wires that connect the gas detection element and the wiring on the base substrate, and a plurality of pins that are connected to the gas detection element or the heater via the wiring on the base substrate. The base substrate has a plurality of protruding portions that protrude into the through-hole and to which the wires are connected. The gas sensor is used in combination with a cap shown by a broken line so as to protect the gas detection element.
