Abstract

As shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2, this item is composed of a "number sheet" that is marked with "0.1" to "1.0", divided into ten equal parts, partially cut, and formed into a strip shape, with only the edge part on the number side pasted. An illustration is described on the "number sheet", and a shadow of a corresponding size is described and used on the "mounting board". One of the ten equal parts is interpreted as 0.1. For example, as shown in Reference Figure 3, when folding back the parts of 0.3 to 1.0 without bending the part where the illustration of 0.1 to 0.2 can be seen, it becomes possible to understand the size of the number 0.2 in the illustration. Also, as shown in Reference Figure 4, the magnitude of numbers between decimals can also be intuitively understood from the illustration. Furthermore, as shown in Reference Figures 5 and 6, addition (such as 0.2 + 0.5) where the total value is 1.0 or less can be performed. In addition, subtraction within the range that can be covered by numbers between 1.0 and 0.1, such as 0.8 - 0.4, can also be learned.
