Automotive Slide Deck

Abstract

The article of this design is a sliding deck for an automobile, consisting of a board mounted on rails so that it can be slid and removed, and is primarily installed and used in the rear of a vehicle. As shown in the perspective views of the board in a slid position and in Reference Figure 1, which shows the board in use, the board can be installed so that it fits into the rear of the vehicle, allowing it to be used as a floor in the rear of the vehicle when sleeping in the car. Furthermore, as shown in Reference Figure 2, which shows the board in use, removing the board's lid in this position allows for easy loading and unloading of luggage underneath the board from inside and outside the vehicle. Furthermore, as shown in Reference Figures 3 and 4, which show the board in use, installing the board so that it extends outside the vehicle allows it to be used as a workbench, and the legs can be easily opened and closed while in this position, making the article highly convenient when used as a table. Additionally, as shown in the perspective views of the board with the legs open and in Reference Figure 5, which shows the board in use, the board can be removed from the rails to use as a table, or the lid can be removed to place a stove or other appliance on it and use it as an outdoor cooking table.
