Abstract

This item is a fastener used by DIY (Do It Yourself) users to fasten planks of wood in an orthogonal position. It is constructed by bending a single wire member, with its open ends facing each other closely. These open ends are not exposed in the finished piece of furniture (see reference diagram showing the state of use). Reference diagram 1, showing the state of use, shows a completed toolbox consisting of two side panels with a horizontal opening at the top, two side panels with two rectangular holes on the left and right at the bottom, a bottom panel positioned at the location of the rectangular holes, and eight of the item. Reference diagram 2, showing the state of use, shows a completed storage shelf consisting of two side panels with three insertion grooves on each side for inserting the item, five shelves that are fixed using the insertion grooves, one back panel positioned behind the bottom shelf, and 22 of the item.
