Abstract

This split ring is a left-handed (reverse-winding) split ring with a triple-layered tip. For example, split ring pliers are commonly used to attach split rings to fishing lures, but currently only right-handed split ring pliers are available on the market. As shown in the [Reference diagram showing an example of use], when using this split ring, even if you hold the split ring pliers in your right hand and point the open part of the split ring downward, the open part will still be facing you. Furthermore, because this split ring is oval and has a long straight portion at the tip, the open part of the split ring can be firmly inserted into the lure's eye. Even if you let go of the split ring pliers in this state, the split ring will not come off, making it easy to attach to the lure's eye.
