Rail fastening tool

Abstract

The article of the design is a rail fastening tool used to fasten a rail to a support such as a sleeper or tie plate using a leaf spring, as shown in the reference drawings showing the function of each part. In this rail fastening tool, as shown in Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use, position-maintaining parts A and B are brought into contact with the support to keep the frame part in a constant position, and load-applying part A at the tip of the arm part, which is rotatably supported on the frame part at a fulcrum, is brought into contact with the leaf spring, and load-applying part B of the frame part is brought into contact with the load-receiving part of the fastening bolt. With this in mind, the arm is rotated from the rotation start position to the rotation end position where it comes into contact with the rotation restricting part, as shown in Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use. A downward load F1 is applied from load-applying part A to the leaf spring, and an upward load F2 is applied from load-applying part B, forming a gap between the leaf spring and the fastening bolt. An adjustment washer is inserted into this gap, as shown in Reference Figure 3 showing the state of use.
