Abstract

This product is a plate for a sedimentation tank sludge discharge pit, and is installed in a water treatment facility that performs water purification, etc., as shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing Instructions for Use." Specifically, the water treatment facility includes a sedimentation tank that settles and separates impurities contained in the water being treated, a collector that scrapes the impurities that have settled in the sedimentation tank as sludge, and a sludge discharge pit that temporarily stores the sludge scraped by the collector. The sludge discharge pit has a settling chamber and a sludge discharge chamber, and this product is installed at the boundary between the settling chamber and the sludge discharge chamber. The collector consists of multiple scrapers and sludge agitators that are arranged reciprocally via a connecting plate, and scrapes sludge toward the sludge discharge pit by its reciprocating motion. During this process, not only sludge but also external debris such as fallen leaves may enter the settling chamber. However, this product is installed so as to cover the sludge discharge chamber located below the sedimentation chamber, and the opening (sludge inlet) of this product shown in the "Reference Enlarged View of Part AA Showing the Names of Each Part" is installed so that the opening direction of this product is along the vertical direction, so that external debris such as fallen leaves will not block the opening (sludge inlet) of this product. Therefore, external debris such as sludge from the sedimentation chamber and fallen leaves can be reliably flowed into the sludge discharge chamber.
