Abstract

This article relates to a burner that uses an ammonia-containing fuel (NH3 fuel). The burner is installed in a combustion furnace such as a boiler. The burner injects fuel and an oxidizing gas (air) into the furnace to form a flame. The burner according to this article comprises a fuel nozzle and a plurality of ammonia nozzles. The fuel nozzle injects a combustible mixture of fuel and oxidizing gas into the furnace from a fuel gas inlet. Each ammonia nozzle is arranged around the fuel nozzle and supplies the ammonia-containing fuel into the furnace.
