Abstract

This product is a cosmetic brush that includes a tuft of hair, a ferrule that clamps and fixes the tuft of hair, and a handle that is connected to the ferrule. The cross section of the ferrule of this product on the side that clamps and fixes the tuft of hair is configured in a semi-elliptical shape that includes a straight portion and an arc portion. When the tuft of this product is viewed from the tip side, the outer periphery of the tip has an asymmetrical elliptical shape with two arcs of different radii of curvature. Of the two arcs that make up the outer periphery of the tip of the tuft, the radius of curvature of one arc that is located on the straight portion side of the ferrule is larger than the radius of curvature of the other arc that is located on the arc portion side of the ferrule.
