Abstract

This item is a box primarily used for storing gifts. The inner box, which opens and closes vertically, is inserted into the outer box, which is tied with a ribbon, from the left and right in a plan view. When the inner box is placed in the outer box, ribbons are tied around all four sides of the outer box (front, bottom, back, and flat surface). Furthermore, the ribbons that extend horizontally in plan view pass behind the flat surface, as shown in the AA cross-sectional view. This allows the item as a whole to be associated with gift-giving.
