Position detection sensor

Abstract

This product is a position detection sensor that is attached to an actuator such as an air cylinder and detects the position of a magnet that moves back and forth within the actuator. An indicator light extending along the longitudinal direction is provided on the outer surface of the housing. The indicator light may light up only the part corresponding to the position of the magnet so that the position of the magnet moving inside can be known from the outside. Alternatively, the entire indicator light may be lit. The indicator light uses a light source that can be partially lit, such as a group of LEDs, a liquid crystal display, or an organic EL display.
