Abstract

To provide a vehicle or a user of the vehicle with information on a section in which power generation efficiency of a solar cell system of the vehicle is high among vacant sections.SOLUTION: An information providing device has a power storage device and a solar cell system that generates electric power by a solar cell and provides information on a parking lot having a plurality of parking lots to a vehicle that can charge the power storage device with electric power generated by the solar cell during parking or a user of the vehicle. The information providing device provides information on a lot having high power generation efficiency of the solar cell system among vacant lots to the vehicle or the user based on a parking time zone and a position of the vacant lot having no parked vehicle among the plurality of parking lots.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
