Abstract

To provide a mold clamping device capable of suppressing a progression of wear of link pins which are prone to wear.SOLUTION: A mold clamping force acting link pin of a toggle mechanism (13) includes: link pins (43, 44) connecting a mold clamping housing (9) and two mold clamping housing side links (31, 32); link pins (50, 51) connecting a movable platen (8) and two movable platen side links (34, 35); and link pins (55, 56) connecting the clamping housing side links (31, 32) and the movable platen side links (34, 35). At least one of the plurality of mold clamping force acting link pins is designated as a link pin subject to priority lubrication. The link pin subject to priority lubrication are configured to be supplied with a larger amount of grease than the other link pins which act on the mold clamping force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
