Abstract

To provide an electrically-driven shielding device configured by the usage of an obstacle stopping device for mechanically locking rotation of a driving shaft when a shielding member is brought into contact with an obstacle during lowering operation.SOLUTION: An electrically-driven blind 100, including a control unit 113 that drives a motor 111 based on an operation signal and rotates a drive shaft 112 to raise / lower a screen 120, and a failure stop device 130 that maintains a failure stop state in which the rotation of the drive shaft in the screen lowering direction is mechanically locked to stop the lowering operation when the screen is brought into contact with an obstacle during the lowering operation, features that the control unit causes the drive shaft to rotate in the screen raising direction by a specified amount to raise the screen and then rotates the drive shaft in the screen lowering direction to lower the screen when a lowering command is received as an operation signal in the failure stop state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
