System for producing energy through the action of waves

A system and method for generating energy from the tuning masses relative to a ground plane and an external force. In some embodiments the external force is the action of the waves. The system has a first mass movable relative to the ground plane, wherein the external force induces an oscillation in the first mass relative to the ground plane. A second movable mass is carried by and movable relative to the first movable mass. The second movable mass creates kinetic energy as the result of varying the position of the second movable mass relative to the first mass. The system adjusts or tunes the frequency of various components in relation to the natural frequency of the waves. The second mass can move relative to the first mass by various methods including rolling on a track or pendulum. The energy created by the relative motion can be converted to various forms of energy including electrical energy.

Harmonic force generator for an active vibration control system

A force generator for an active vibration control (AVC) system provides a mass located upon an inner circular member which is movable within an outer circular member to simultaneously complete one revolution about its axis as it orbits within the outer circular member to compensate for sensed vibrations. A crank mounts the inner circular member and a counterweight. The crank is rotated by a prime mover such as an electric motor. The mass will therefore generate a sinusoidal inertial force in a straight line. Multiple systems are suitably arranged to be used in conjunction with one another to provide a wide range of inertial force outputs.

Backpack for harvesting electrical energy during walking and for minimizing shoulder strain

ActiveUS20060192386A1Reduce absolute vertical motionLarge movementTravelling sacksPiezoelectric/electrostriction/magnetostriction machinesGear wheelShoulder strain
A suspended-load backpack designed to permit the load to move relative to the backpack frame during walking and running so that the large movements between the load and the frame of the backpack reduce the fluctuations of absolute vertical motion of the load. Because the hip (and thus the pack frame) go up a down a good deal during walking, a large relative movement between the frame and the load reduces the absolute excursion of the load. This movement may be, in turn, transferred to a motor through, for example, a rack and pinion gear, to convert the mechanical movement to electrical energy. The movement may also be converted to electrical energy by using an electroactive polymer (EAP) to connect the suspended load to the frame. Such designs allow the load to move in a controlled fashion to prevent the patient from losing his or her balance as the load moves up and down along the backpack frame. Such movement of the suspended-load relative to the frame also reduces the forces on the wearer's shoulders while walking or running, thus reducing the likelihood of orthopedic injury.

Inertial propulsion device to move an object up and down

Disclosed herein are two separate processes that do not require a propellant and do not produce an equal and opposite reaction against any external form of matter in the Local Inertial Reference Frame and do not violate Newton's Laws in the Universal Reference Frame. The first process produces horizontal motion, relies on the earth's gravitational field as an external force, and has been successfully tested. The second process produces vertical motion and relies only on the aether. It has been successfully tested considering the effect of the earth's gravity. Due to the law of conservation of angular momentum, the first process is considered by some to not be possible, but with the proper use of an external field (for example, gravity) and the phenomenon of precession, it is clearly possible. A clear distinction is made between a simple rotor and a gyroscope which is a far more complex device.

Intertial propulsion device

Inertial propulsion is a largely undeveloped field. Inertial propulsion is defined as propelling a vehicle without the use of a propellant such as rocket fuel or ions, or by the application of an external force.Disclosed herein are two separate processes that do not require a propellant and do not produce an equal and opposite reaction against any external form of matter in the Local Inertial Reference Frame and do not violate Newton's Laws in the Universal Reference Frame. The first process produces horizontal motion, relies on the earth's gravitational field as an external force, and has been successfully tested. The second process produces vertical motion and relies only on the aether. It has been successfully tested considering the effect of the earth's gravity. The two processes referenced above are examples of converting the rotary motion of a spinning rotor into unidirectional linear motion. Due to the law of conservation of angular momentum, the first process is normally considered not possible, but with the proper use of an external field (for example, gravity) and the phenomenon of precession, it becomes possible. A clear distinction is made between a simple rotor and a gyroscope which is a far more complex device.

Gravity Power Generation Mechanism

A gravity power generation mechanism utilizes a gravity energy conversion unit to convert the gravity potential energy into the kinetic energy. The gravity energy conversion unit produces positive torques by adopting outward-spreading single directional swing arms and reduces the negative torques by cooperating with the folding action of the single directional swing arms, so as to perform a long-time, effective and continuous energy conversion of converting gravity potential energy into the kinetic energy. Next, the kinetic energy will be transmitted to a power generating unit to perform another energy conversion of converting the kinetic energy into the electric energy. And finally, a power supply system is used to transmit the electric energy out. By such arrangements, the gravity power generation mechanism not only has the advantages, such as: more simplified in structure, higher conversion ratio, and more environment-friendly but only needs a little of starting energy to perform a long-time energy conversion.
