Abstract

To provide an image analysis device, image analysis method, and program that can accurately discriminate the type of a flying object flying over a wide range.SOLUTION: An image analysis device 1 includes: a wide-area camera 10 that captures a wide-area image of an entire object area; a detection unit 312 configured to detect a discrimination object from the wide-area image; a zoom camera 20 that captures a zoom image of a part of the object area more precisely than the wide-area camera 10; a zoom camera control unit 313 configured to control an imaging position of the zoom camera 20; and a discrimination unit 314 configured to discriminate the type of the discrimination object from the zoom image. The detection unit 312 detects the discrimination object by performing vibration source localization from time-series wide-area images, and transmits the current position of the discrimination object to the zoom camera control unit 313. The zoom camera control unit 313 controls the zoom camera 20 to capture a zoom image of the current position of the discrimination object, and the discrimination unit 314 analyzes frequency characteristics of the center of gravity displacement of the discrimination object based on captured time-series zoom images, and discriminates the type of the discrimination object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
