Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to pumps and piping connected to tanks of tank trucks filled with various types of liquids. [Background technology]

[0002] As shown in Patent Document 1, a conventional tank truck has a tank that is tilted downward toward the rear, and a delivery pipe is arranged along the bottom of the tank. The delivery pipe is connected to a pump installed at the rear end of the chassis, and the pump uses the pump to deliver liquid inside the tank to the outside. The motor for driving the pump is generally installed close to the pump, which results in a large device.

[0003] Furthermore, in Patent Document 1, the pump that handles the liquid contained in the tank is located at the rear, and there are pipes extending from the bottom of the tank; in order to protect these pipes, a support frame is interposed on the underside of the tank frame, and the tank placed on this support frame is secured to the chassis by fastening members.

[0004] As a result, the pump that handles the stored liquid is located at the rear, which requires a long drive shaft for transmitting power to the pump, resulting in vibration and the associated noise. In addition, the chassis becomes longer due to the installation of equipment such as the pump, which requires more care than necessary to check behind the vehicle when driving the tank truck, thereby compromising safety. [0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-188484 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] This invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances and seeks to solve the problems of the prior art, by locating a pump that draws in and discharges liquid from a tank on a stand between the chassis and the tank, near the driving source for the tank truck, such as the engine of the tank truck, thereby setting the vehicle height of the tank truck low while ensuring space for piping arranged at the bottom of the tank, lowering the center of gravity of the tank truck and improving its rollover resistance, and enabling the tank load to be mounted on a stand with high rigidity, thereby providing a tank truck that contributes to measuring the safety of operating the tank truck. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] In order to solve the above problems and achieve the object, the present invention is configured as follows.

[0008] The invention described in claim 1 is a tank truck in which a container of a tank of the tank truck filled with many kinds of liquid is placed on a chassis via a platform, the platform being made up of a pair of left and right girder members arranged along the longitudinal direction of the chassis, and beam members arranged at the front and rear ends of the girder members along the width direction of the chassis, This tank truck is characterized in that it is provided below the frame with an axle housing that surrounds the axle that transmits power to the running wheels of the tank truck and is aligned parallel to the girder member, and a pump that draws in and discharges liquid in the tank using the power of a running drive source, and the pump is supported on the girder member via a bracket so that it is positioned between one side of the axle housing and the girder member.

[0009] The invention described in claim 2 is the tank truck described in claim 1, characterized in that the pump is connected to a main pipe that inclines downward from the tank toward the pump and to a widthwise secondary pipe that passes through an opening formed in the girder member, a left opening / closing valve is provided at one end of the secondary pipe and a right opening / closing valve is provided at the other end, and a three-way switching valve is provided in the middle of the secondary pipe, and this three-way switching valve is connected to the pump.

[0010] The invention described in claim 3 is the tank truck described in claim 1, characterized in that a head valve is connected to the upper part of a pump case of the pump, a connecting member is interposed between the pump case and the head valve to bring the head valve close to the girder member, and an operating shaft of the head valve, which is perpendicular to the drive shaft that operates the pump, penetrates the girder member and protrudes to the outside of the chassis.

[0011] The invention described in claim 4 is the tank truck described in claim 3, characterized in that an suction passage and a discharge passage having a rectangular cross-section are integrally formed on the left and right side surfaces of the pump case to reduce the left and right width of the pump case, and the suction passage and the discharge passage are connected to an inlet passage and an outlet passage provided in the connecting member.

[0012] The invention described in claim 5 is the tank truck described in claim 4, characterized in that the cross-sectional shapes of the inlet and outlet passages of the connecting member at the lower inlet / outlet side facing the pump are rectangular in cross section, and the upper inlet / outlet side facing the head valve is circular in cross section. Effect of the Invention

[0013] With the above-mentioned configuration, the present invention has the following effects.

[0014] In the invention described in claim 1, a tank truck in which a container of a tank of the tank truck filled with many kinds of liquid is placed on a chassis via a platform, the platform being made up of a pair of left and right girder members arranged along the longitudinal direction of the chassis, and beam members arranged at the front and rear ends of the girder members along the width direction of the chassis, An axle housing that surrounds the axle that transmits power to the running wheels of the tank truck and is aligned parallel to the girder member, and a pump that draws in and discharges liquid in the tank using the power of a driving source for traveling are provided below the frame, and the pump is supported on the girder member via a bracket so that it is positioned between one side of the axle housing and the girder member. Therefore, the pump and main piping through which the liquid in the tank circulates are arranged in the narrow space between the bottom of the tank and the chassis, and the tank truck can be operated safely without damaging the pump or axle even if the axle casing bounces up and down while traveling.

[0015] In the invention described in claim 2, the pump is connected to a main pipe that slopes downward from the tank toward the pump and to a widthwise secondary pipe that passes through an opening formed in the girder member, and a left-side opening / closing valve is provided at one end of the secondary pipe and a right-side opening / closing valve is provided at the other end. A three-way switching valve is also provided in the middle of the secondary pipe and this three-way switching valve is connected to the pump. Therefore, when the three-way switching valve blocks the main pipe, liquid does not remain in the secondary pipe after being discharged outside the tank, and further, the main pipe is tilted away from the tank to quickly discharge the liquid in the tank, preventing the liquid from accumulating.

[0016] In the invention described in claim 3, a head valve is connected to the upper part of the pump case of the pump, and a connecting member is interposed between the pump case and the head valve to bring the head valve close to the girder member, and the operating shaft of the head valve, which is perpendicular to the drive shaft that operates the pump, passes through the girder member and protrudes to the outside of the chassis.Since the head valve of the pump and the girder member are close to each other, the operating shaft that passes through the girder member and protrudes to the outside of the chassis can be shortened, making it easier to operate the head valve.

[0017] In the invention described in claim 4, an suction passage and a discharge passage having a rectangular cross section are integrally formed on the left and right side surfaces of the pump case, thereby reducing the left and right width of the pump case, and the suction passage and the discharge passage are connected to an inlet passage and an outlet passage provided in the connecting member, thereby making it possible to make the left and right width of the pump compact. When the pump is compact, the main piping through which the pump and the liquid in the tank circulate can be arranged in the narrow space between the bottom of the tank and the chassis.

[0018] In the invention described in claim 5, the cross-sectional shapes of the inlet and outlet passages of the connecting member, which are on the pump side, are made rectangular in cross section, and the upper inlet and outlet passage on the head valve side are made circular in cross section, so that the cross-sectional shapes of the inlet and outlet passages are sequentially changed. This ensures smooth and unhindered flow of liquid between the pump and the head valve, and the device can be simply and easily attached to the head valve, is inexpensive, and extremely practical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0020] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the tank truck according to the present invention will be described. The embodiment of the present invention shows the most preferred embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited thereto.

[0021] A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 shows an example of a tank truck 1, in which a tank designated by the reference symbol 6 is filled with fluid food materials, edible oil materials, fluid chemicals, solvents, etc., and is mounted on a chassis 8 of the tank truck 1 so that the axis of the tank 6 is in a horizontal position.

[0022] The tank truck 1 has running wheels 2 driven by axles 4 from the driving source 3 for running such as an engine, and the axles 4 are surrounded by axle housings 5 which are arranged at the front and rear of the chassis 8 at the widthwise center.

[0023] A container 7 consisting of a container frame 7a surrounding the tank 6 is placed on the chassis 8 via a stand 9, and the stand 9 comprises a pair of left and right girder members 10 arranged along the longitudinal direction of the chassis 8, and beam members 13 arranged at the front and rear ends of the girder members 10 along the width direction of the chassis 8.

[0024] The girder member 10 consists of a lower girder member 11 having a hollow rectangular cross-section and an upper girder member 12 stacked on its upper surface, and the upper girder member 12 is divided into a front upper girder member 12a and a rear upper girder member 12b, and the front upper girder member 12a and the rear upper girder member 12b are welded to the upper surface of the lower girder member 11 so as to have a specified opening 12c.

[0025] The front upper girder member 12a and the rear upper girder member 12b have a hollow rectangular cross section with their long sides longer than one side of the hollow regular square shaped lower girder member 11, and both ends of the lower girder member 11 and the upper member 12 are welded to the beam member 13 and joined together to reinforce the entire frame 9.

[0026] As a result, even if a large bending force acts in the fore-and-aft width direction of the frame 9 due to the swaying of the tank truck 1 while traveling, the bending force can be resisted by the joints between the lower girder member 11 and the upper girder member 12 and the joints with the beam member 13.

[0027] The left and right sides of the front upper girder member 12a and the rear upper girder member 12b are connected by a plurality of cross members 14 parallel to the beam member 13, thereby maintaining the strength of the central side of the frame 9.

[0028] A rotary pump 20 is supported on the lower girder member 11 of the girder member 10 of the frame 9 via a bracket 40, and the pump 20 is disposed between one side of the axle housing 5 and the girder member 10.

[0029] The pump 20 receives power from the traveling drive source 3 such as an engine of the tank truck 1 through a PTO type transmission mechanism (not shown) by the drive shaft 21. The drive shaft 21 of the pump 20 is parallel to the axle housing 5.

[0030] A main pipe 15 through which the liquid in the tank 6 circulates is arranged at the bottom of the tank 6, slanting downward from several outlets toward the pump 20, thereby making it difficult for the liquid to stagnate in the main pipe 15.

[0031] The main pipe 15 is connected to the secondary pipe 16a via the pump 20, and this widthwise secondary pipe 16a is inserted through the opening 12c formed in the girder member 10 and fixed to the upper surface of the lower girder member 11 at a position forward of the rear upper girder member 12b.

[0032] A left side opening / closing valve 18a is provided at one end of the sub-pipe 16a, and a right side opening / closing valve 18b is provided at the other end. A rear side opening / closing valve 18c is provided at the rear of the tank 6 on an auxiliary pipe 16b that branches off from the middle of the sub-pipe 16a. By operating the left side opening / closing valve 18a, the right side opening / closing valve 18b, and the rear side valve 18c, liquid and the like in the tank 1 flows out from three locations on both sides and the rear of the tank truck 1.

[0033] In this way, liquid can be discharged from two locations on the sides and at the rear of the tank truck 1, which allows liquid to be removed from inside the tank 6 at any location on the tank truck 1, for example, at both sides and at the rear of the tank 1, without being restricted by the stopping position and stopping direction of the tank truck 1.

[0034] A pair of three-way switching valves 19a, 19b are provided in the middle of the sub-pipe 16a, and the relay pipe 17 through which the liquid discharged from the pump 20 flows is connected to the left-side three-way switching valve 19b, and the auxiliary pipe 16b in which the rear opening / closing valve 18c is provided is connected to the right-side three-way switching valve 19a.

[0035] In discharging the liquid in the tank 6 through the right-side opening / closing valve 18b, the left-side three-way switching valve 19a is closed in the left-side opening / closing valve 18a direction, and the right-side three-way switching valve 19b is closed in the rear opening / closing valve 18c direction, so that the liquid is circulated through the pump 20 to the auxiliary pipe 16a.

[0036] When discharging from the left opening / closing valve 18a, the right three-way switch valve 19b is closed in the direction toward the right opening / closing valve 18a, and the left three-way switch valve 19a is opened, so that the liquid is circulated from the pump 20 to the sub-pipe 16a.

[0037] Furthermore, when discharging from the rear opening / closing valve 18c, the left three-way switch valve 19a is closed in the direction of the left opening / closing valve 18a, the right three-way switch valve 19b is closed in the direction of the right opening / closing valve 18a, and the right three-way switch valve 19b is opened in the direction of the rear opening / closing valve 18c, so that the gas flows from the pump 20 to the auxiliary pipe 16a.

[0038] In this way, the left three-way switching valve 19a and the right three-way switching valve 19b can effectively discharge liquid from the tank 6, so that it does not remain in the main pipe 19a and the secondary pipe 19b, and in combination with the main pipe 15 being inclined downward toward the pump 20, this prevents liquid from accumulating in the tank 6.

[0039] Next, as shown in FIG. 6, the rotary type pump 20 has as its main components a rotor 22, an eccentric shaft 23 connected to the drive shaft 21, a pump case 25, and an eccentric gear group (meshing of a fixed gear and a rotor gear) 24, and uses a hypotrochoid curve for the outer shape of the rotor 22 and its outer envelope for the inner shape of the pump case 25.

[0040] The rotor 22 and the pump case 25 are automatically shaped when the ratio of the fixed gear to the rotor gear is set to 2:3. The cocoon-shaped pump case 25 has two chambers, upper and lower working chambers 25a and 25b, each of which can operate independently.

[0041] The upper and lower working chambers 25a, 25b are more completely separated by providing mechanical seals (not shown) that slide on the outer periphery of the rotor 22 at two locations on the short shaft portion of the pump case 25.

[0042] When the rotor 22, whose rotation is controlled by the eccentric shaft 23 and the eccentric gear group 24, passes through both working chambers 25a, 25b, the rotor 22 rotates while always being in contact with the inner surface of the pump case 25 at three points, and both working chambers 25a, 25b periodically expand and contract due to the rotor 22.

[0043] In the pump case 25, a suction port 25c and a discharge port 25d are provided in each of the working chambers 25a, 25b to draw in and discharge liquid. The rotation of the rotor 22 also serves as a valve for the suction port 25c and the discharge port 25d.

[0044] The suction port 25c communicates with an suction passage 28 having a rectangular cross section which is formed integrally with a left outer side surface 26 of the pump case 25, and the discharge port 25d communicates with a discharge passage 29 having a rectangular cross section which is formed integrally with a right outer side surface 27. The suction passage 28 and the discharge passage 29 are formed integrally with the left and right outer sides 26, 27 of the pump case 25 so as to correspond to the longer sides of the rectangular cross section of the suction passage 28 and the discharge passage 29.

[0045] A head valve 30 is connected to the upper part of the pump 20 , and a valve casing 31 of this head valve 30 has a main pipe connection part 31 a communicating with the main pipe 15 and a relay connection part 31 b communicating with the relay pipe 17 .

[0046] A suction passage 31c and a discharge passage 31d are provided in the lower part of the valve casing 31 of the head valve 30, which are in communication with the suction passage 28 and the discharge passage 29 of the pump 20, respectively.

[0047] A valve body 32 having a generally U-shaped cross section is rotatably disposed on the upper part of the valve casing 31, and a flow passage 31e is formed in this valve body 32 to selectively connect the discharge passage 29 to the left and right main pipe connection portions 31a, relay pipe connection portions 31b, or lower end outlets 35a.

[0048] An operating shaft 32a having a handle 32b is integrally connected to the valve body 32, and this operating shaft 32a is perpendicular to the drive shaft 21 of the pump 20 and passes through the through hole 12c of the beam member 10 to protrude to the outside of the chassis 8. Reference numeral 33 denotes a pressure regulating valve for releasing the high-pressure liquid on the discharge path 31d side to the suction path 31c side.

[0049] A connecting member 34 is interposed between the pump 20 and the head valve 30, and an inlet passage 35 and an outlet passage 36 having lower end inlets 35a, 36a and upper end inlets 35b, 36b are formed in the connecting member 34.

[0050] The lower end inlets 35a, 36a of the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36 are connected to the suction passage 29 and the exhaust passage 28 of the pump 20, and the upper end inlets 35b, 36b of the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36 are connected to the suction passage 31c and the exhaust passage 31d of the head valve 30.

[0051] The lower end entrances 36a, 35a of the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36 have a rectangular cross-section, and the upper end entrances 36b, 35b of the inlet passage and the outlet passage have a circular cross-section, so that the passage cross-sectional shapes of the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36 change sequentially.

[0052] The connecting member 34 allows smooth, unobstructed flow of liquid between the pump 20 and the head valve 30, can be simply and easily attached to an existing head valve 30, is inexpensive, and is extremely practical.

[0053] A diagonal brace member 37 for reinforcing the frame 9 is connected to the intersection corner between the extension portion 13a of the beam member 13 welded to the front and rear of the front upper girder member 12a and the rear upper girder member 12b.

[0054] A quadrangular pyramid-shaped protrusion 38 for detachably engaging the container frame 7a is provided on each end of the extension portion 13a of the beam member 13. When the container 7 is loaded onto the frame 9, openings (not shown) in the bottom surface of the lower four corners of the container frame 7a are inserted into the protrusions 38, and the container frame 7a is detachably engaged with the frame 9.

[0055] In addition, a bumper 39 having a display plate with the product name, markings, etc., attached thereto is provided at the rear end of the chassis 8, and the rear opening / closing valve 18c is positioned forward of this bumper 39, allowing the liquid inside the tank truck 1 to be drained from the rear.

[0056] The pump 20 and the secondary pipe 16a connecting the main pipe 15 and the relay pipe 17 can be arranged in the narrow space between the tank 6 and the frame 9, thereby lowering the overall height of the tank 6, ensuring space for piping arranged from the bottom of the tank 6, and the load of the tank 6 is reliably supported by the chassis 8, allowing the vehicle height of the tank truck 1 to be set low.

[0057] The tank truck in the above configuration is a tank truck 1 in which a container 7 of a tank 6 of the tank truck 1 filled with a variety of liquids is mounted on a chassis 8 of a vehicle via a frame 9, the frame 9 being made up of a pair of left and right beam members 10 arranged along the longitudinal direction of the chassis 8, and beam members 13 arranged along the width direction of the chassis 8 at the front and rear ends of the beam members 10, an axle housing 5 arranged in parallel to the beam members 10 surrounding an axle 4 that transmits power to the running wheels 2 of the tank truck 1, and a drive source 3 that drives the liquid in the tank 6 by the power of the running drive source 3. A pump 20 for sucking in and expelling liquid is provided below the frame 9, and the pump 20 is supported on the girder member 10 via a bracket 40 so that it is positioned between one side of the axle housing 5 and the girder member 10.Therefore, the pump 20 and the main pipe 15 through which the liquid in the tank 6 circulates are arranged in the narrow space between the bottom of the tank 6 and the chassis 8, and even if the axle casing 5 bounces up and down while the tank truck 1 is traveling, the pump case 25 and the axle 4 will not be damaged and the tank truck 1 can be operated safely.

[0058] In particular, the axle casing 5 does not become an obstacle when mounting the pump 20, and no special processing is required for the frame 9, and almost no processing is required for the chassis 8 of the tank truck 1, so the pump can be mounted simply and easily on an existing tank truck, which is extremely practical.

[0059] In addition, the pump 20, the main pipe 15 and the sub-pipe 16a can be arranged in the narrow space between the tank 6 and the chassis 8, the overall height of the tank truck 1 is reduced, and space for the pipes extending from the bottom of the tank 6 is reliably secured.

[0060] Furthermore, the pump 20, which drains the liquid in the tank 6 of the tank truck 1, can be installed in a position near the driving source 3 for traveling on the tank truck 1, which makes it possible to shorten the power transmission path from the driving source 3 for traveling, such as an engine, located at the front of the vehicle, and the operating path for interrupting the power, compared to when the pump 20 is located at the rear end of the tank truck 1.

[0061] This allows the transmission system for driving the pump 20 to be small in size, thereby achieving cost and weight reduction effects and improving power transmission efficiency.

[0062] In addition, since the connecting member 34 is interposed between the pump case 25 of the pump 20 and the head valve 30, thereby bringing the head valve 30 close to the beam member 10, the distance between the head valve 30 of the pump 20 and the beam member 10 is narrowed, and the operating shaft 33 of the head valve 30, which is perpendicular to the drive shaft 21 that operates the pump 20, penetrates the beam member 10 and protrudes to the outside of the chassis 8, thereby shortening the operating shaft 33 and making it easier to operate the head valve 30.

[0063] Furthermore, the suction passage 28 and the discharge passage 29, which have a rectangular cross-section, are formed integrally on the left and right side surfaces of the pump case 25 of the pump 20, thereby shortening the left and right width, and the suction passage 28 and the discharge passage 29 are connected to the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36 provided in the connecting member 34, so that the left and right width of the pump 20 can be made compact. When the pump 20 is compact, the main piping 15, through which the pump 20 and the liquid in the tank 6 circulate, can be arranged in the narrow space between the bottom of the tank 6 and the chassis 8.

[0064] Furthermore, by making the lower inlets 35a, 36a on the pump 20 side of the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36 of the connecting member 34 rectangular in cross section and sequentially changing the cross-sectional shapes of the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36, an increase in pipeline resistance can be prevented and the flow of liquid between the rotary pump 20 and the head valve 30 can be smoothed. Since the cross-sectional shapes of the inlet passage 35 and the outlet passage 36 of the connecting member 34 are not complex, the connecting member 34 is easy to manufacture and can be simply and easily attached to an existing head valve, and is inexpensive and extremely practical.

[0065] Furthermore, the cross member 14 connecting the left and right sides of the front upper girder member 12a and the rear upper girder member 12b increases the strength of the frame 9, enables the frame 9 to support the main pipe 15 through which the liquid in the tank 6 passes and the secondary pipe 16a to which the relay pipe 17 is connected, and ensures space for the pipes extending from the bottom of the tank 6. [Industrial Applicability]

[0066] The present invention provides a tank truck that can avoid interference with a traveling power transmission system while ensuring space for a pump and piping connected to a tank mounted on the tank truck. [Explanation of symbols]
