[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-151052 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] When the diaphragm of a speaker unit vibrates in an out-of-plane direction, sounds of opposite phase are output to the front and back sides of the diaphragm. If the sound output to the back side of the diaphragm wraps around to the front side, it may interfere with the sound output to the front side of the diaphragm, causing a deterioration in sound quality. To prevent the sound output to the back side of the diaphragm from wrapping around, an enclosure is sometimes provided for the speaker unit.
[0005] However, if an enclosure with a sufficient volume is provided for the speaker unit provided within the seat, there is a problem in that the speaker unit takes up space within the seat. One aspect of the present disclosure aims to miniaturize a structure in a speaker unit provided within a seat that prevents sound output to the rear side of a diaphragm from leaking around. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, a speaker-equipped seat according to aspect 1 of the present disclosure comprises a support portion having a cushion and supporting the body of a seated occupant, and a speaker unit having a diaphragm and outputting sound in a first direction which is one of the out-of-plane directions of the diaphragm, wherein the cushion has an accommodating hole for accommodating the speaker unit, a bottom surface of the accommodating hole faces the diaphragm, and sound output in a second direction opposite to the first direction among the out-of-plane directions of the diaphragm is incident on the bottom surface of the accommodating hole and is absorbed by the cushion.
[0007] According to the above configuration, the bottom surface of the accommodation hole of the cushion faces the diaphragm, and sound output from the diaphragm in the second direction is incident on the bottom surface of the accommodation hole and absorbed by the cushion. Since the cushion can efficiently absorb sound, the structure for preventing sound leakage can be made smaller.
[0008] A seat with a speaker according to aspect 2 of the present disclosure is the seat with a speaker of aspect 1 above, further comprising a structure having a first surface facing the diaphragm, a second surface that is the reverse side of the first surface, legs protruding from the outer edge of the first surface, and a through hole between the first surface and the second surface, wherein the structure is connected to the speaker unit via the legs, the second surface contacts the bottom surface of the accommodating hole, and sound output from the diaphragm in the second direction passes through the through hole and is incident on the bottom surface of the accommodating hole and is absorbed by the cushion.
[0009] According to the above configuration, the speaker-equipped seat further includes a structure that is connected to the speaker unit via legs protruding from the first surface, the second surface being the reverse side of the first surface and in contact with the bottom surface of the accommodation hole, and a through hole is provided between the first surface and the second surface. By including such a structure, the rigidity of the speaker unit can be improved.
[0010] A speaker-equipped seat according to aspect 3 of the present disclosure is a speaker-equipped seat according to aspect 1 or 2 above, further comprising a lid portion that transmits sound output from the diaphragm in the first direction, is fixed to the cushion, and covers the accommodating hole.
[0011] According to the above-mentioned configuration, the lid covers the accommodation hole that accommodates the speaker unit and the lid is fixed to the cushion, thereby preventing the speaker unit from falling out of the accommodation hole.
[0012] A speaker-equipped seat according to a fourth aspect of the present disclosure is the speaker-equipped seat of the first aspect above, wherein the cushion has a mounting step that abuts against an outer edge of the speaker unit and protrudes from the bottom surface of the accommodating hole.
[0013] According to the above configuration, the cushion has a mounting step that abuts against the outer edge of the speaker unit and protrudes from the bottom surface of the accommodation hole, thereby ensuring a space between the speaker unit and the bottom surface of the accommodation hole and preventing the bottom surface of the accommodation hole from interfering with the diaphragm when the cushion is deformed.
[0014] A speaker-equipped seat according to a fifth aspect of the present disclosure is the speaker-equipped seat of the fifth aspect, in which the speaker unit is fixed to the mounting stage.
[0015] According to the above-mentioned configuration, the speaker unit is fixed to the mounting step of the accommodation hole of the cushion, which makes it possible to fix the speaker unit to the speaker-equipped seat with a small number of parts.
[0016] A speaker-equipped seat according to a sixth aspect of the present disclosure is the speaker-equipped seat of the first aspect above, wherein the accommodating hole has at least one of a groove, a hole, and a protrusion formed in at least a portion of the bottom surface and the side surface.
[0017] According to the above configuration, at least one of a groove, a hole, and a protrusion is formed on at least a part of the bottom surface and the side surface of the accommodation cavity, so that the cushion can efficiently absorb the sound output from the diaphragm in the second direction.
[0018] A speaker-equipped seat according to a seventh aspect of the present disclosure is the speaker-equipped seat of the first aspect, wherein the accommodating hole has a rough surface on at least a part of the bottom surface and side surfaces.
[0019] According to the above configuration, at least a part of the bottom surface and the side surface of the receiving hole is roughened, so that the cushion can efficiently absorb the sound output from the diaphragm in the second direction.
[0020] A speaker-equipped seat according to an eighth aspect of the present disclosure is the speaker-equipped seat of the first aspect described above, wherein the cushion is formed from a foam or a three-dimensional reticular fiber structure.
[0021] According to the above configuration, the cushion can absorb the sound output from the diaphragm in the second direction. Also, the cushion can be easily provided with the accommodation hole. Effect of the Invention
[0022] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, the structure for preventing sound output to the rear side of the diaphragm of a speaker unit disposed within a seat from wandering around can be made smaller than in the past. [Brief description of the drawings]

The seat 1 shown in FIG. 1 is an example of a speaker-equipped seat, and includes a seat back 10 and a head rest 11. In addition to the seat back 10 and the head rest 11, the seat 1 may further include a seat bottom, a foot rest, and the like, which are not shown. The seat back 10 and the head rest 11 are examples of a support portion. The seat back 10 supports the back of a seated person. The head rest 11 supports the rear of the head of the seated person. The seat back 10 has a cushion 12 and a cover 13. The cushion 12 is formed of a foam such as urethane or chip urethane. Two speaker units 20 are fixed to the cushion 12. The two speaker units 20 are provided so as to be able to output sound toward the vicinity of both ears of a seated person in the seat 1. The cover 13 covers the cushion 12 and the two speaker units 20. The cover 13 is made of mesh skin or genuine leather with perforations, and allows the sound output from the speaker unit 20 to pass through.
[0025] Fig. 2 is a front view of a speaker unit provided in a speaker-equipped seat according to the first embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the speaker unit provided in a speaker-equipped seat according to the first embodiment of the present disclosure. For ease of explanation, the up-down direction, the front-rear direction, and the left-right direction of the speaker unit 20A are defined below as shown by the arrows in Figs. 2 and 3.
[0026] The speaker unit 20A is the speaker unit 20 according to the first embodiment, and includes a grill 22, a speaker 23, and a housing 24. The cushion 12A according to the first embodiment is the cushion 12 according to the first embodiment. As shown in Fig. 3, the cushion 12A has a receiving hole 50A. The speaker unit 20A is received in the receiving hole 50A.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 3, the accommodation hole 50A has an opening 53 in front of the cushion 12A. The opening 53 of the accommodation hole 50A is covered by the lid 21. The lid 21 is formed of nonwoven fabric or the like. The area of the lid 21 is larger than the opening 53 of the accommodation hole 50A of the cushion 12A. The lid 21 has an opening 21A, and transmits the sound output from the speaker unit 20. The area of the opening 21A is smaller than that of the grill 22, and a part of the grill 22 is exposed from the opening 21A. The periphery of the opening 21A of the lid 21 abuts against the vicinity of the outer periphery of the accommodation hole 50A of the cushion 12A. The lid 21 is fixed to the cushion 12A. For example, a hook-and-loop fastener is provided on a part of the lid 21 that abuts against the vicinity of the outer periphery of the accommodation hole 50A, and the lid 21 is fixed to the cushion 12A. The lid portion 21 prevents the speaker unit 20 accommodated in the accommodation hole 50A from falling out of the accommodation hole 50A, and fixes the speaker unit 20A to the cushion 12A.
[0028] The accommodation hole 50A is provided with a wiring hole 54. The harness 32 of the speaker 23 is inserted through the wiring hole 54. The speaker 23 is supplied with power and audio signals via the harness 32.
[0029] The speaker 23 of the speaker unit 20A has a diaphragm 30, an outer edge portion 31, and a harness 32. The diaphragm 30 vibrates in an out-of-plane direction to output sound. When the speaker unit 20A is accommodated in the accommodation hole 50A, the diaphragm 30 faces the bottom surface 51A of the accommodation hole 50A and is disposed at a position spaced apart from the bottom surface 51A of the accommodation hole 50A. Among the out-of-plane directions of the diaphragm 30, the direction toward the front surface of the speaker 23 is referred to as a first direction R1. On the other hand, among the out-of-plane directions of the diaphragm 30, the direction opposite to the first direction R1, i.e., the direction toward the rear surface of the speaker 23, is referred to as a second direction R2.
[0030] The grill 22 protects the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23. The grill 22 has a plurality of hexagonal holes 22A arranged in a honeycomb pattern, through which sound passes. When the speaker unit 20A is accommodated in the accommodation hole 50A, the grill 22 is disposed between the lid portion 21 and the speaker 23. The sound output from the diaphragm 30 in the first direction R1 passes through the holes 22A of the grill 22 and the lid portion 21, and is output to the outside of the sheet 1.
[0031] The grille 22 has through holes 42 near its four corners. Fastening members 40 are inserted into the through holes 42. The fastening members 40 are, for example, screws or bolts. The outer edge portion 31 of the speaker 23 has screw holes 41 at its four corners. The fastening members 40 are inserted into the screw holes 41 of the speaker 23 via the through holes 42. In this way, the grille 22 is connected to the speaker 23.
[0032] The housing 24 is an example of a structure. The housing 24 is disposed between the speaker 23 of the speaker unit 20A and the bottom surface 51A of the accommodation hole 50A. The housing 24 has a first surface 71 that faces the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23, a second surface 72 that is the back surface of the first surface 71 and contacts the bottom surface 51A of the accommodation hole 50A, and legs 73 that protrude from the outer edge of the first surface 71. The legs 73 abut against the outer edge 31 of the speaker 23.
[0033] The housing 24 has a plurality of through holes 74 between the first surface 71 and the second surface 72. The through holes 74 are, for example, hexagonal holes and are arranged in a honeycomb pattern on the first surface 71 and the second surface 72 of the housing 24. The sound transmittance of the housing 24 is smaller than that of the grille 22. For example, the sound transmittance of the grille 22 is approximately 70%, and the sound transmittance of the housing 24 is approximately 50%. The sound output in the second direction R2 from the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23 passes through the through holes 74 of the housing 24, enters the bottom surface 51A of the accommodation hole 50A, and is absorbed by the cushion 12A, thereby reducing the wraparound of the sound.
[0034] Housing 24 is connected to grill 22 and speaker 23 via legs 73. For example, housing 24 has screw holes 75 and is fixed to grill 22 and speaker 23 by fastening members 40. By connecting housing 24 to grill 22 and speaker 23, the rigidity of speaker unit 20A is improved.
[0035] Fig. 4 is a view taken along the line AA in Fig. 2. A space is provided between speaker 23 and housing 24 so as not to interfere with the operation of diaphragm 30 of speaker 23. The distance from bottom surface 51B of accommodation hole 50B to opening 53 is approximately the same as the thickness of grille 22, speaker 23, and housing 24 in the front-rear direction.
[0036] Second Embodiment Other embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below. For convenience of explanation, the same reference numerals will be given to members having the same functions as those described in the above embodiment, and the description thereof will not be repeated.
[0037] Fig. 5 is an exploded perspective view of a speaker unit provided in a speaker-equipped seat according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure. The speaker unit 20B according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure shown in Fig. 5 differs from the speaker unit 20A according to the first embodiment in that it does not have a housing 24. The cushion 12B according to the second embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that a mounting step 52 protrudes from a bottom surface 51B of the accommodation hole 50B. The mounting step 52 protrudes from both ends in the up-down direction of the bottom surface 51B.
[0038] 6 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a speaker unit provided in a speaker-equipped seat according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 6, the bottom surface 51B of the accommodation hole 50B faces the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23 accommodated in the accommodation hole 50B. Between the speaker 23 and the bottom surface 51B of the accommodation hole 50B, a space is provided that does not interfere with the operation of the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23. The sound output from the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23 in the second direction R2 is incident on the bottom surface 51B of the accommodation hole 50B and is absorbed by the cushion 12B. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the wraparound of the sound.
[0039] Furthermore, mounting step 52 of accommodating hole 50B abuts against outer edge 31 of speaker 23 accommodated in accommodating hole 50B. The length in the front-to-rear direction from mounting step 52 to opening 53 of accommodating hole 50B is approximately the same as the front-to-rear thickness of grill 22 and speaker 23. In other words, when speaker unit 20B is accommodated in accommodating hole 50B, speaker unit 20B is approximately flush with opening 53 of accommodating hole 50B.
[0040] FIG. 7 is a diagram showing a simulation result regarding the frequency characteristic of the sound pressure of the speaker unit provided in the speaker-equipped seat according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure. In FIG. 7, a simulation result 60 regarding the relationship between the frequency and sound pressure of the sound output from the speaker unit 20B is shown by a solid line. In the simulation, the volume of the space provided between the speaker 23 and the bottom surface 51B of the accommodation hole 50B is set to 42 cc. In FIG. 7, for comparison, a simulation result 61 regarding a speaker unit having a 200 cc enclosure and not allowing the cushion to absorb sound is shown by a dashed line, and a simulation result 62 regarding a speaker unit having no enclosure and not allowing the cushion to absorb sound is shown by a dashed line. As shown in FIG. 7, the speaker unit 20B can ensure sound quality equivalent to that of a speaker unit provided with a 200 cc enclosure while reducing the volume occupied by the seat 1.
[0041] 7, the speaker unit 20B according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure has a lower sound pressure in the 1000-3000 Hz frequency band compared to a speaker unit provided with a 200 cc enclosure. As in the first embodiment of the present disclosure, by providing a housing 24 with a predetermined transmittance between the speaker 23 and the bottom surface 51A of the accommodation hole 50A, the sound pressure in a predetermined band can be adjusted.
[0042] [Embodiment 3] A third embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below. For ease of explanation, the same reference numerals will be given to members having the same functions as those described in the above embodiments, and the description thereof will not be repeated.
[0043] 8 is a diagram showing an example of a cushion used in a speaker-equipped seat according to a third embodiment of the present disclosure. A cushion 12C according to the third embodiment has a storage hole 50C. The storage hole 50C of the cushion 12C according to the third embodiment is different from the storage hole 50B of the cushion 12B according to the second embodiment in that a plurality of grooves 81 are provided in a bottom surface 51C.
[0044] The grooves 81 are formed by arranging peaks 82 and valleys 83 extending in the left-right direction alternately in the up-down direction. By providing a plurality of grooves 81 in the bottom surface 51C, the surface area of the bottom surface 51C is increased, and the sound output in the second direction R2 from the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23 can be absorbed more efficiently than the bottom surface 51A according to the first embodiment.
[0045] The shape of the groove provided on the bottom surface 51C of the accommodation hole 50C is not limited to the shape of the groove 81 shown in FIG. 8. Any other shape may be used as long as it can increase the surface area of the surface that absorbs the sound output from the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23 in the second direction R2. For example, the shape of the groove provided on the bottom surface 51C of the accommodation hole 50C may be a shape in which mountains and valleys extending in the vertical direction are alternately arranged in the horizontal direction. In addition, the side surface of the groove may be inclined at any angle, or may be curved.
[0046] Furthermore, the method of increasing the surface area of the surface that absorbs the sound output in the second direction R2 from the diaphragm 30 of the speaker 23 is not limited to providing the groove 81 in the bottom surface 51C. For example, a hole may be provided in the bottom surface 51C of the accommodation hole 50C.
[0047] FIG. 9 is a diagram showing a modified example of the cushion. In the cushion 12D shown in FIG. 9, a plurality of holes 82 are provided on the bottom surface 51D of the accommodation hole 50D. Note that the bottom surface 51D of the accommodation hole 50D may be provided with protrusions instead of the holes 82, or any combination of the grooves 81, the holes 82, and the protrusions may be provided. In addition to the bottom surface 51D of the accommodation hole 50D, or instead of the bottom surface 51D of the accommodation hole 50D, any combination of the grooves 81, the holes 82, and the protrusions may be provided on the side surface 55 of the accommodation hole 50D. That is, any combination of the grooves 81, the holes 82, and the protrusions may be provided on at least a part of the bottom surface 51D and the side surface 55 of the accommodation hole 50D.
[0048] Furthermore, accommodation hole 50D may be provided with a rough surface on at least a part of bottom surface 51D and side surface 55. By roughening at least a part of bottom surface 51D and side surface 55 of accommodation hole 50D to form a rough surface, it is possible to improve the efficiency of absorbing sound output from diaphragm 30 of speaker 23 in second direction R2.
[0049] [Action and Effect] As described above, the seat 1 includes the seat back 10 having the cushion 12 and supporting the body of a seated person, and the speaker unit 20 having the vibration plate 30 and outputting the sound output from the vibration plate 30 in the first direction R1, which is one of the out-of-plane directions, to the outside of the seat back 10. The cushion 12 has an accommodation hole 50 for accommodating the speaker unit 20, and a bottom surface 51 of the accommodation hole 50 faces the vibration plate 30 and absorbs the sound output from the vibration plate 30 in the second direction R2. By efficiently absorbing the sound output from the vibration plate 30 in the second direction R2 by the cushion 12, the structure for preventing the sound from going around can be made smaller than before. By miniaturizing the structure for preventing the sound from going around, the design freedom of the seat 1 can be improved.
[0050] [Modifications] In the above first to third embodiments, the lid portion 21 is fixed to the cushion 12 by a hook-and-loop fastener provided at a portion that abuts against the vicinity of the outer periphery of the accommodation hole 50. However, the method of fixing the lid portion 21 to the cushion 12 is not limited to the hook-and-loop fastener. For example, the lid portion 21 may be fixed by an adhesive, a button, a hook, a resin clip, or the like.
[0051] In the above first to third embodiments, the speaker unit 20 is accommodated in the accommodation hole 50 of the cushion 12, and is fixed to the accommodation hole 50 by the lid portion 21 fixed near the outer periphery of the accommodation hole 50. However, the method of fixing the speaker unit 20 is not limited to using the lid portion 21. For example, the speaker unit 20 may be fixed to the mounting step 52 of the accommodation hole 50 by a hook-and-loop fastener.
[0052] In the second and third embodiments, the accommodation cavity 50 has the mounting steps 52 provided at both ends in the up-down direction of the bottom surface 51. However, the mounting steps 52 may be provided at both ends in the left-right direction of the bottom surface 51, or may be provided both in the left-right direction and in the up-down direction.
[0053] In the above first to third embodiments, the speaker unit 20 is accommodated in the cushion 12 of the seat back 10, but the cushion that accommodates the speaker unit 20 is not limited to that of the seat back 10. For example, the speaker unit 20 may be accommodated in an accommodation hole 50 provided in the cushion of the headrest 11.
[0054] In the above first to third embodiments, the speaker unit 20 outputs sound toward the vicinity of both ears of the seat occupant in the seat 1, but the direction in which the sound is output is not limited to this. For example, the sound may be output toward an occupant sitting in the rear seat of the seat 1. When outputting sound toward an occupant sitting in the rear seat of the seat 1, the cushion 12 may be provided with the openings 50A, 50B, 50C, and 50D on the rear side, and the grill 22 and the speaker 23 of the speaker unit 20 may be provided on the rear side.
[0055] In the above first to third embodiments, the cushion 12 is formed of a foam such as urethane or chip urethane, but is not limited to a foam. For example, the cushion 12 may be formed of a three-dimensional network fiber structure in which elastic fibers are connected in a three-dimensional network.
[0056] In the first embodiment, as shown in Fig. 3, the legs 73 of the housing 24 protrude from the entire circumference of the outer edge of the first surface 71. However, the legs 73 of the housing 24 do not need to protrude from the entire circumference of the outer edge of the first surface 71. By not providing some of the legs 73, a portion of the sound reflected by the housing 24 is incident on the side surface of the cushion 12A and is absorbed by the cushion 12A, thereby reducing the intrusion of the sound.
[0057] In the first to third embodiments, the holes 22A of the grille 22 and the through-holes 74 of the housing 24 are hexagonal holes arranged in a honeycomb pattern, but this is not limiting. For example, the holes 22A and the through-holes 74 may be rectangular holes arranged in a lattice pattern.
[0058] [Additional Notes] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the claims. Embodiments obtained by appropriately combining the technical means disclosed in different embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present disclosure. [Explanation of symbols]
